  1. I think McFarlane always had an ego and hubris when it came to his ventures and he doesn’t want to give up Digital thing too fast and show the weakness, he will definitely try to keep it alive for at least a year, and it’s not like digital figures are sold on their own and can be judged by that, they are always in bundles with actual stuff so he might consider Digital success due to this even though customers are buying physical figures for their own sake.
  2. Yeah prices that match the quality aren't there even though I still think they've made the best Turtles figures, albeit I would prefer and tolerate price way more if they were double jointed, at least for Turtles themselves, who use the same body.
  3. They look good enough but it's super late for them... I wonder if we gonna get Suicide Squad game figures this late as well, but I can them selling better, especially if they make non Brainiac controlled League.
  4. This line is really well done when you compare it to other newbie small scale action figure lines, be it sculpt, paint or price wise. Even scale is interesting, because it can fit both 6 and 7 inch scale if you are liberal enough with scale.
  5. Penguin looks solid, soft goods coat on Boomerang is iffy although material seems kinda cool, gives it ML Toybiz boxset Gambit coat vibes. Starfire at first seems okay but it's apparent they used some Knightfall Catwoman parts on her, which weren't the strongest sculpt. I hope we will get classic Starfire soon enough even better would be if she comes out in two pack with classic Raven.
  6. Thankfully, she's available on Frazeta girls site for 69.99 + 10 shipping (and they offer 15% off for first time customer) but unlike BBTS they take money upfront. I'm still thinking about this, while body sculpt is great, as weird as it sounds knees are sculpted incredibly well, paint apps are more than decent but yet, I still don't feel the face, I see that effort was clearly put into it but somehow results weren't as great as one might think, it's tough to both translate Frazetta art as well as that animation style into figure form.
  7. Kilowog looks even better but I do hate texture on his gloves. I forgot how terrible green was on the previous Kyle, new one is indeed an improvement in this area. I guess this also makes this unofficial figure for the 90s JLA team wave, now we only need another Wonder Woman with Rombus shaped belt and more classic boots.
  8. Body sculpt is there and really well done from this pic alone, although I'm afraid that unlike their previous figure Teegra won't have ability to bend arm the same way and probably won't even reach 90 degrees, face sculpt is just fine, while it's definitely captures features it doesn't come together, it could be that lighting altered face and created weird shadows and it looks far better under neutral lighting.
  9. Even though I'm not G.I. Joe fan, I have to admit that Scarlet looks pretty good, might consider getting her if the figure gets on sale.
  10. Kilowog looks great, although I do prefer mid 2000s design similar to John's with less Green, but still it's a good looking figure with tons of details (some unnecessary) and truly great head sculpt, I think it will eventually go on sale for 40-50.
  11. This figure is mostly okay due to great cape and headsculpt but it could have been so much more if they just replaced her limbs with shorter ones, as it is these arms and legs are way too spindly and proportionally look weird, it's especially out of place for Cassandra who is a shorter character.
  12. Just realized how ironic is that 90s Aquaman from Mattel, who often went with painted on details, had sculpted fish scale on pants but McFarlane who mostly does original sculpts ended up with painted on fish scales.
  13. There was a gift box set of sorts that had all the figures and Baf from Last Knight on Earth together.
  14. I thought so too, but right now it seems McFarlane isn't doing this anytime soon, Beast boy, Darkseid Batman, Atrocitus and many other bafs haven't been released on their own yet.
  15. Good looking Plastic man but I'm not sure I want to buy other figures to get him, I can't blame the logic behind it though, Plastic man is not gonna be hot seller, so such release does make sense to avoid peg warming, however, if it was an exclusive for McFarlane.com and fan channels it would have been even better.
