  1. Just realized how ironic is that 90s Aquaman from Mattel, who often went with painted on details, had sculpted fish scale on pants but McFarlane who mostly does original sculpts ended up with painted on fish scales.
  2. There was a gift box set of sorts that had all the figures and Baf from Last Knight on Earth together.
  3. I thought so too, but right now it seems McFarlane isn't doing this anytime soon, Beast boy, Darkseid Batman, Atrocitus and many other bafs haven't been released on their own yet.
  4. Good looking Plastic man but I'm not sure I want to buy other figures to get him, I can't blame the logic behind it though, Plastic man is not gonna be hot seller, so such release does make sense to avoid peg warming, however, if it was an exclusive for McFarlane.com and fan channels it would have been even better.
  5. Hairstylist really didn't do good job here, better hairdo could have salvaged this situation but it's too late now because first public impression is already leaning negative unless there's amazing trailer that will wow everyone.
  6. Joker looks spot on but Batman looks more like Matt Wagner drawing rather than BTAS model.
  7. Funko did two okay-ish figure in 6 inch scale back when they were trying to get into action figure market. I really hope this license won't be limited to this series but rather will include all games.
  8. I wasn't a big fan of those static figures but in case of limited numbers and for special occasions like anniversaries I don't see anything wrong with them, especially when sculpts and paints are awesome, I even have some nostalgia for them.
  9. Mostly a great figure but head is way too high for Batfleck who had super short thick neck or at least cowl had an illusion of short and thick neck. If this figure ever sells under retail I might get it and find short peg for it. Another disappointing thing is no wired cape, I'm sure we gonna get another version like unmasked one with wired cape down the line.
  10. Their previous figure looked great despite being single jointed elbows and knees it had good range and amazing finish, it's interesting how they gonna handle female figure.
  11. Would be awesome to see this design done in action figure form, likely it would be by storm collectibles since they already have the license.
  12. I think they used comic book logos to hint at comic book based looks, even if they won't be 1 to 1 comics they will be likely close enough or so called "inspired" by comics. I just hope these won't be simplistic and shiny/plasticy figures but rather something that has decent finish and good paint apps.
  13. Yeah this is one hella weird and shocking price increase. Maybe Todd realized sales aren’t there and he can decrease the amount they are making and just increase the price but 40 is crazy especially when his figures used to be cheaper than legends. Superman looks cool, it’s good to have legit earth 2 Superman with wired cape at last and as said above I would love red and black logo version too. Specter and monitor also look really nice. Kid Flash is just lazy, he should have been done on their teen body mold not on Barry Allen in his prime body mold, that just doesn’t make sense.
  14. All I can think is how can I customize her into Wonder Woman, I wonder if there's water slides decal of tiny white stars, because other stuff should be more or less easy.
  15. Exactly! Always enjoy Toyfarce stuff. But on serious note Hiya Toys Robocop 1/12 scale isn't even doing quarters they went straight to months and since at least June release months get updated, it would be sad if it wasn't so funny.
  16. I do wish they did Arkham Asylum or Arkham city costumes (basically the same thing) but sculpt wise this is serious improvement for them, everything is even more hidden and seamless than before, even knee guard things that are ugly on all other figures look good here thanks to costume design.
  17. Just noticed the cape and it looks like it also doesn't have a wire like the Dune figures, that's really disappointing because as much as I like Dune it's DC superheroes like Batman and Superman who need wired capes not movie heroes where capes are just secondary.
  18. That's about time, hopefully it will not repeat disappointment of their Flash Batfleck figure.
  19. It's a little bit weird, it means that Reeves is working on basically the same thing but in two different universes. That could be super challenging creatively and just outright confusing unless that producing role isn't as big as we think and something closer to Burton on Batman Forever or Snyder on first Wonder Woman.
  20. It would be perfect timing to release Ayer cut in 2024 when there's really no DC movies at all besides the second Joker and while they are at it release Batman Forever Schumacher cut, I think there's gotta be some lobby behind that project too since there were screenings.
  21. It's not a bad figure by any means, but I feel like they could have done a better sculpt, because what we got is rather simplistic and on toyish side.
  22. That Teela is something else altogether, especially if check the videos, they really outdid themselves with her. makes me wish there was more realistic MOTU line in 6 inch scale. I dunno how to feel about Spider-man and Venom, I do know they will look amazing but I'm skeptical if they can improve articulation, because they don't even have full and proper range of motion with articulation points they already have but maybe just maybe they can make Spidey and Venom special since here basic movement is indeed important.
  23. Instantly Preordered it. While I do have loose collector version, which is okay I wanna see what Boss fight studio can do with it, I still don’t know how it will end up but I’m optimistic. Also in general glad Boss fight ls going with 1/12 scale, I hope they do Phantom in this scale as well since they have license relationships already.
