Okay so the way they are handling packaging them, with one adult and one kid, is great. Maybe we will get webby with Magika? I'm not sure how I feel about all of the face sculpts though the boys in particular seem....odd

If Webby doesn't come with Ms. Beasley then I'm gonna be so mad.

Don't like that McDonald's stuff, merchandise of merchandise for fast food? That's going too far for me.

They've been made into toys before, a mego style figure line in the 70s and a big plush ronald with a bunch of play features in the 80s.

Gizmoduck! I have the Funko figure from a few years ago, but very happy to see a new one. Please tell there will be more accessories not shown here…Gizmoduck needs gizmos.

Not thrilled with the pack outs. I feel like the three bros should have been a three pack.

Sesame Street looks great as always but I do wonder what else they're going to put in with them to justify their usual pricing on Oscar at the very least. Doesn't seem like a whole lot of plastic there...

Muppets looks good too, but I sure hope they're going to give us that Muppet Theater stage as a playset too! C'mon, Neca, you can do it!

Wasn't expecting Duck Tales but they look good. The 'linework' is a little distracting to me, but I get that it fits with how they've approached animated series before.

McDonaldland could well be an interesting line too. Grimace sure looks well done, but a long way away from that Q2 2027 release date. I could be onboard for that if we get the Burger people.

Ducktales figures! oh what fun, although I couldn't see myself getting into collecting them I like it, but those dark lines are a bit of a eye sore, Best things are Snowths Diamond never did that! I don't collect but I know someone who is gonna lose it for those.

McDonalds...I see what they are doing with that, but I can't say I am keen on it, never thought anybody except those frie pom poms or the nuggets were cool, ew ron still gives me the heebies.

Oh boy... I'm most definitely getting Splinter, Casey and Slash from 2012 TMNT. I'm still on the fence for the 4 turtles, Metalhead and Shredder, but those 3? Only thing missing now would be Karai and April.

The Fortnite guys look amazing too, specially Shredder, that I may pick up.

The buzz at Toy Fair 2026 this year wasn’t just about dinosaurs and superheroes — collectors and fans of classic animated adventure got a major surprise from NECA with the official debut of the DuckTales Ultimates Series 1 figures. For decades, DuckTales has been a touchstone of animated fun, and now fans can finally bring some of Duckburg’s greatest heroes (and hopefully someday villains) into premium action figure form.

On display in NECA’s Toy Fair booth were three distinct figure pairings that will launch before the end of 2026:

• Scrooge McDuck with Dewey – The richest duck in the world and his ever-optimistic middle triplet.

• Gizmoduck with Huey – Duckburg’s armored guardian paired with the no-nonsense eldest triplet.

• Launchpad McQuack with Louie – The accident-prone pilot alongside the most laid-back of the duck triplets.

Each figure pair reflects the heartfelt charm and adventurous energy that DuckTales embodies. Scrooge’s iconic top hat, Dewey’s adventurous grin, Gizmoduck’s gleaming armor, and Launchpad’s trademark flight jacket were all on full display. From first looks in the prototype showcase, collectors left excited at seeing these characters realized with detailed sculpting, dynamic articulation, and accessories that feel perfectly DuckTales-appropriate.

This initial wave represents a promising start for what could be an expansive new line for one of Disney’s most enduring animated franchises — and fans are already dreaming about who could come next.

My Top 10 Most Wanted DuckTales Figures

While Series 1 lays the groundwork with beloved heroes, the DuckTales universe is packed with unforgettable characters that collectors are eager to see translated into Ultimates form. Based on fan conversation, personal preference, and sheer iconic value, here’s the Top 10 Most Wanted DuckTales figures fans want to see next:

1. Mrs. Beakley

Duck-01__scaled_800.jpg

Grizzled, stern, wise — Mrs. Beakley is the unsung backbone of the McDuck household. Adventure-ready and no nonsense, she’s a perfect candidate for a premium figure with alternate expressions or accessories like her cane or shotgun.

2. Webby Vanderquack

Duck-05__scaled_800.jpg

Brave, clever, and eternally curious, Webby has become a fan favorite. From wielding gadgets to leading missions of her own, a Webby figure could come with tons of swappable gear.

3. Duckworth

Duck-04__scaled_800.jpg

Scrooge’s loyal butler and occasional comic relief, Duckworth brings heart to Duckburg Manor. A figure with alternate poses and accessories like tea or a platter of sandwiches would be a delightful touch.

4. The Beagle Boys

Duck-02__scaled_800.jpg

No rogues’ gallery is complete without the bumbling but persistent Beagle Boys. A pack of them with interchangeable heads and prison attire would be a must-have for any collector.

5. Magica De Spell

Duck-10__scaled_800.jpg

One of Scrooge’s most formidable enemies, Magica brings magic, mischief, and mayhem. With spell effects and mystical accessories, her figure could easily be a show-stealer.

6. Flintheart Glomgold

Duck-03__scaled_800.jpg

Scrooge’s perennial rival for the title of “World’s Richest Duck,” Glomgold is equal parts pompous and perilous. A figure in his signature suit with a cane (and maybe a golf club) would be a fun addition.

7. Gyro Gearloose

Duck-08__scaled_800.jpg

Duckburg’s eccentric inventor is a natural fit for the Ultimates line. With gadgets and inventions for accessories, Gyro could bring a lot of play options to the shelf.

8. Bubba the Caveduck

Duck-09__scaled_800.jpg

From the prehistoric antics of DuckTales episodes like “Time Teasers,” Bubba the Caveduck is a cult favorite. A character with elemental prehistoric flair would diversify the line nicely.

9. Doofus Drake

Duck-06__scaled_800.jpg

Lovable in his own clueless way, Doofus Drake is an opportunity for a humorous, character-driven figure. Expression parts and goofy accessories would bring the fun.

10. Donald Duck

Duck-07__scaled_800.jpg

One of Disney’s most iconic characters — and the sometimes reluctant uncle to Huey, Dewey, and Louie — Donald’s inclusion would complete the core familial cast. A classic sailor outfit with expressive head swaps would be spectacular.

What’s Next for the DuckTales Line?

NECA’s DuckTales Ultimates Series 1 proves there’s real appetite for premium figures based on stories and characters that shaped many childhoods. With such a rich cast and decades of source material to pull from, the line’s potential is enormous — from villains like Ma Beagle and Steelbeak, to heroes like Darkwing Duck.

Collectors will be watching closely for preorder announcements and additional reveals as 2026 unfolds. If the Series 1 showings are any indication, fans can expect both nostalgia and fresh excitement as DuckTales marches into the modern collectible era.

Beagle Boys are an absolute must - I say do a two-pack with interchangeable heads and numbers since nobody should be stuck with just one Beagle Boy. Webby likewise needs to be done, as does Glomgold and Magica - a line needs it's villains. I just hope we don't get Gargoyled on this line - cover the bare basics and then get left hanging on the extended coolness the line has to offer.
