  3. I looked up a pic of the original just to be sure, I'm just surprised I don;t remember it, lol
  4. There's no doubt that millennial prequel fans played a massive part in the Gunship being chosen, but it was one of the few ships from the prequel trilogy that featured so heavily in merchandise and on-screen. The Nebulon looks like a generic sci-fi ship and even those that have a passing knowledge of Star Wars wouldn't be likely to identify as a Star Wars spaceship, and while the bomber is very similar in design to one of the most iconic star wars ships it hasn't been favoured so much in merchandise or even on-screen. So when it comes down to it it's a choice between a ship heavily favoured by merchandise and very recognisable (even if only to the millennials) or a ship lacking in the popularity needed to win. Not to mention the fact that millennials are now reaching the age where they are managing their own finances and can now afford adult-targeted collectibles, so it is only inevitable that they played such a pivotal role in this.
  5. He did. I usually had to put his gun in it (it's just the loop sticking up) because I had the version with the right hand that couldn't actually hold the blaster. LOL

  8. Pretty much anything they shrink will have it's proportions changed for practicality. It's easier to imagine a six-foot Millenium Falcon than a 9 foot Millenium Falcon, but it's even easier to imagine them shrinking it down further to five or even four feet.
  9. Earlier today we showed you a new Star Wars Retro Collection Hoth Ice Planet Adventure Game With Luke Figure, and now here is a look at the single carded figures for Hasbro's Kenner Retro line that are from Empire Strikes Back. The wave includes Kenner like figures of Bespin Luke (Yellow Hair), Hoth Leia, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Yoda and Hoth Han Solo. Check back tomorrow for better looks at these and more from Hasbro's Toy Fair showroom. Coverage kicks off at 1:30pm ET.
  10. Hasbro continues their Star Wars Retro Collection with Hoth Ice Planet Adventure Game with Snowspeeder Luke Skywalker figure. These figures are done in the same style as the old Kenner figures. Word is they will also be releasing on Empire Strikes Back cardbacks more single carded figures.
  11. My guess is they'll do a Falcon for HasLab. Just like the vintage one, it's proportions could be adapted so that it's not (that) impractical.
  12. Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) and The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) today announced a renewal of Hasbro’s rights under its strategic merchandising relationship for major Disney entertainment properties Marvel and Star Wars. Under the Marvel license agreement, Hasbro will continue to develop a wide range of toys and games for Marvel's global Universe of more than 8,000 characters, including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Widow and Black Panther. The Star Wars license agreement includes the rights to toys and games based on entertainment like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian, incorporating fan favorite characters such as The Child from The Mandalorian, affectionately known as Baby Yoda. 13. While not confirmed yet by Hasbro, we have gotten word that they will be releasing Star Wars: The Black Series Darth Revan Force FX Lightsaber 2-Pack which will cost $250. Again this has yet to be confirmed by Hasbro so we will treat it as a rumor for now. Likely we will see this on Saturday during Toy Fair.
  14. Luke Skywalker strikes one of his most famous poses for this Star Wars Premier Collection statue. Standing in 1/7 scale, Luke is gazing at the Tatooine horizon as he holds his macrobinoculars in this highly realistic piece. You can pre-order this from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.
  15. Announced earlier today at ComicsPRO in Portland, Oregon, Marvel Comics will be putting the final chapter of the Skywalker saga to the page in a comics adaptation of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Writer Jody Houser (Star Wars: TIE Fighter) and artist Will Sliney (Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren) will be teaming up to retell this epic story in STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER ADAPTATION #1. In addition to the shocking twists and turns that were present in the film, the five-issue limited series will also have brand-new story material for readers to enjoy! "As a lifelong Star Wars fan, it was an honor to be asked to be a part of wrapping up the Skywalker saga with Marvel Comics," Houser said. “We have some fun plans to add scenes and material that weren’t seen in the movie." Relive Rey’s quest, the Resistance’s desperate last stand, and the return of an old enemy when STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER ADAPTATION #1 hits stands this June! STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER ADAPTATION #1 (of 5) Written by JODY HOUSER Art by WILL SLINEY Cover by PHIL NOTO INCLUDES UNREVEALED STORY! FROM BEYOND THE OUTER RIM, AN OLD ENEMY RETURNS! And what is KYLO REN'S real goal in partnering with the resurrected PALPATINE? The landmark Skywalker saga is adapted by Jody (TIE FIGHTER) Houser and Will Sliney (THE RISE OF KYLO REN). Featuring extended and deleted scenes.
  16. I have not been keeping up with the Haslab thing, especially in regards to how successful it has been and whether it is possible for them to do another Star Wars project. A six inch scale AT-AT Haslab project would be something I would be tempted to get since it is my favorite none starship Star Wars vehicle. Then reality would set and I would realize that I most probably don't have the space for it. Still it is certainly an interesting idea for a Haslab project.
  17. That Jedi Starfighter and Vader's tie look good, a little bit more realistic than the others.
