About This Club

An area from a galaxy far far away where fans of Star Wars can come to share their passion for the hobby with others.

  1. What's new in this club
  2. I didn’t know I wanted another Vader till I saw this but now I do. Also, been waiting on the announcement of this undated Mando and can’t wait to have this version. Would be nice if he came with a knife like we saw in season one but the jet pack and new clan symbol are a nice update
  3. Yeah the stormtrooper comes across like a early design for Captain Phasma instead of one of the most iconic bad guys ever in films. Boba looks good waist up. Maybe for in box collectors that won’t be so bad
  4. Hasbro ruins another chance at giving us ROTJ boba fett... Although this could be a nice "as first built" boba fett like before it gets all dented and scratched? Hmmm... Nope still got the helmet dent.
  5. Vader looks awesome despite those horrid poses. Somebody get Shooting the Galaxy a job at Hasbro NOW!!!! finally got an ewok in the line. I wonder why teebo first and not wickett? Ackbar is cool and maybe also a victim of bad posing. Mandalorian v2 is just in time. Almost converted my v1 but hes safe now.
  6. I think silver cloth looks weird, so I think it's plenty noticeable on Boba Fett, but a pearl white would have definitely been better for the storm trooper, no doubt.
  7. It is a little less noticeable and aesthetic on the Fett figure, although there is nothing like the normal and movie accurate deco.
  8. Hasbro has announced 4 new Star Wars 6" Black Series figures which includes the Ewok Teebo, Admiral Ackbar from Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian v2 and Darth Vader from Empire Strikes Back. Check out images below.
  9. Every time I see a new wave of Star Wars TVC figs it makes me want to collect them again, like in my early days as a collector, but then I remember the lousy distribution in my area and all the figures that I already missed and then suddenly lose the interest.
  10. The 6-inch-scale Carbonized Collection Boba Fett and Stormtrooper figures are carefully detailed to look like the characters from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, featuring premium detail, multiple points of articulation, and a metallic finish. You can pre-order these now at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.
  11. Previously only known as “secret” figures, K-2SO and Clone Commander Wolffe are the next to join Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Wave 28 assortment along with the previously announced Power Droid! You can pre-order these now at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. Check out new images below.
  12. Tamashii Nations has released official images for three upcoming S.H. Figuarts figures based on the Disney+ Mandalorian TV series. It was previously announced we would be getting a figure of The Mandalorian in his original armor, but now we are getting a second figure with his upgraded armor as well as The Child (Baby Yoda) and IG-11. Both Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian v2 figures are due out in September 2020. The Mandalorian v2 figures will come with multiple hands, a pistol, knife, riffle with blast effect, whistling bird firing effect that attaches to left gauntlet, flame thrower effect that attaches to right gauntlet, and jetpack with blast effect. The Child (Baby Yoda) comes with multiple hands, two headsculpts, air-crib with top, soup bowl and backpack that can be used with IG-11. Details are light on the IG-11. Right now all we have is the one image that was shown with The Child figure showing the backpack in use. It looks like he will come with at least a blaster and a riffle. Stay-tuned for more details to be released on that one. Check out all the images below.
  13. I'm a huge hot Toys fan and collector, but I have to admit I'm a disappointed here. The reason being that while the craftsmanship is spot-on as always, it's a disservice to the character to not have more facial expressions. I had thought this figure would be an excellent one to experiment with an articulated jawline, or area around the mouth, perhaps. Hot Toys effectively uses swappable lower mouths often, I adore my angry Netflix Daredevil figure, but in this case the wider mouth area might have lent itself to even a limited range of movement. Especially as a child experiencing fear / happiness / surprise, etc. all within sometimes the same episode, this character was well suited for some technique along those lines. Innovation in articulation is a key hallmark of Hot Toys' stellar work, and I hope if they ever produce a second version, they take some more chances to be creative in that area.
  14. This looks great. I would've like to see articulated ears instead of interchangeable ones but it looks fantastic.
  15. The surprise debut of the Child, a mysterious alien pursued by bounty hunters on behalf of Imperial interests, was revealed in the premiere episode of The Mandalorian series and instantly became one of the favorite characters among many Star Wars fans young and old around the world! Today Hot Toys is very excited to officially introduce the astonishingly detailed life-size collectible figure of the Child which fans affectionately referred to as “Baby Yoda.” The hyper realistic and articulated collectible figure is meticulously crafted based on the appearance of the Child in The Mandalorian. Standing at approximately 36cm tall, this collectible figure features an amazing likeness with riveting fine details, 2 pairs of interchangeable ears, movable head and arms, skillfully tailored outfit, a silver knob from the Razor Crest™ ship that the young alien loves to hold, a Mythosaur emblem necklace, and a variety of interchangeable hands to pose or hold the items allowing fans to recreate iconic moments from the highly acclaimed live-action series! Hot Toys’ The Child life-size figure is an incredible collectible with stunning details and fascinating features.
