  1. Star Wars Custom Of The Week: LA-AT/c (Low Altitude Assault Transport/Carrier & AT-OC (All Terrain-Open Transport) by Bad Batch Customs Here's a closer look at the AT-OT, as well as some behind the scenes images (via CustomsForTheKid)Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.
  2. This design is my own "toyetic" idea of what the Imperial AT-Hauler might have been like had Hasbro made one. It can interact with Hasbro's AT-DT Walker toy by carrying and releasing it just as you see an AT-Hauler do in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY. Its arms are 18" long. You can download the building plans for free to make your own. This kit includes templates and decals in PDF and in their original PNG format. The Photo Guide shows you how the pieces go together (and how to build certain elements, such as the pilot seat and winches from scratch), so you can flip through them as you build.https://www.mediafire.com/file/k3y70hbgcyq5c1k/AT-Hauler_Kit.zip/Later in the coming months, I plan to post lots of photos of this AT-Hauler painted and with the decals applied to it. In the meantime, here are photos of it in its natural cardboard glory. You can keep up with updates and see more photos at the album I've put up for this concept toy:https://imgur.com/a/DKzVj1yThis AT-Hauler is made with corrugated cardboard (Amazon boxes), paperboard (cereal, snack boxes), coffee stirrers, toothpicks and a coffee cup sleeve. The only plastic parts are the cockpit window (from throwaway packaging for a sandwich), cylinders for the winches and some detailing on its back plate (both from bendy drinking straws). You probably have most of these materials already in your home or office. And it's held together with white glue -- the cheap stuff that grade school kids use. No other adhesives were used. Masking tape was used to temporarily hold glued pieces together until the glue dried and removed. Here's a preview of the main body painted and with the decals applied: Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.
  3. This week's custom is a 1:12 Partisan Rebel (Rogue One) by The Art Of Luke Sprywalker " I used the kit from Outer Rim Traders to bring this guy to life in plastic form. The legs are Finn, arms and plastic skirt are Death Star Commander, shoes are cast of Han Solo and I made the fabric kamma myself. 5. This week's custom is Val (Mimban) by Darth DaddyHere's the recipe:"This is another figure that was inspired by a Colin Hobbs custom action figure. He made a killer version of Val in her Mimban Imperial dress. We just copied his recipe so we could have one of our own at home. To make this version of Val, we used the Force Link 2.0 Val head, boots, and back skirt, the lower arms, legs and feet of a Black Series Jyn Erso action figure, the chest of a Black Series Snowtrooper Commander, and the upper arms of a Clone Wars Phase 2 Clone Trooper. The soft goods hooded cape was from a Major Panno action figure that was dyed and modified. Some of the details like the scarf, lower arms, and weaponry attached to her belt were sculpted with ProCreate. We really felt Val was such a cool character that she deserved more than just one action figure representing her."Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.

  7. This week's custom is a 6" Battle Damaged Darth Vader by Hemble CreationsHere's the recipe:"Vader - is a KO version and is perfect to do a Battle Damaged Vader as they are cheap. I glued the joints and then used putty to cover them and also used putty to make the damaged skin area's and the ripped suit. The cyborg parts are from a 7" NECA Terminator figure and I just took the parts I wanted and trimmed the ends so they would fit perfectly with the Vader figure. The loose wires are some old LED lights that don't work anymore and I cut off what I needed. The cape is some black fabric I picked up form the local craft store and I added thin wire to give it a flowing motion. Base - is a mould from a Woodland Scenics rubber mould that you make yourself which I got from a mate and the grass tufts are form the local gaming shop. Both the figure and the base were painted and weathered using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks."Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.
  8. https://jediinsider.com/173-20232 This week's custom is a 3 3/4" Chewbacca, from Solo: A Star Wars Story [Version 2], by Darth Daddy Here's the story behind it:"We used Gentle Giant's "Bust Up" Chewbacca head with Hasbro's Vintage Chewbacca action figure, mashed the two together with the glue from a glue gun to create one of the best representations of the character we've seen yet. We did A New Hope version of Chewie with the same head years ago and grabbed a second head off eBay to use with the accessories of the Hasbro Chewbacca ForceLink 2.0 action figure from the Solo film."Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.

  11. https://jediinsider.com/173-20187 This week's custom is Old Daka (The Clone Wars) by Elias from Customs For The Kid "..."Massacre" was one of the most action packed episodes from The Clone Wars TV series due to the sorcery of Old Daka. When we saw the episode for the first time, this character was immediately on our radar as a character we knew we needed to make as an action figure. We only wish it didn't take us so long to get to her, but now that she is done, we couldn't be happier! Daka, also known as Old Daka, was an elderly Nightsister who lived on Dathomir during the Clone Wars. Mother Talzin regarded her as the "oldest and wisest" member of the Nightsisters. Daka was skilled in many magicks, including the ability to resurrect the dead. Daka was killed when General Grievous stabbed her with a lightsaber during the Battle of Dathomir.[3] This figure was a 100% sculpted action figure. A skeleton was created from a the arms and upper torso of a Clone Wars Luminara Unduli action figure, a chopped lower skirt of an AOTC Lama Su action figure and the head of a casted Clone Wars Darth Sidious action figure. Once the frame was assembled ProCreate was used to sculpt onto the skeleton to create the likeness of Old Daka."

  14. https://jediinsider.com/173-20120 6" Princess Leia (Endor Poncho) by JP Levanda "Recipe is K-Mart exclusive Jyn Erso (Eadu) as the base. I used a Epic Force Bespin Escape Leia Head with sculpted hair as for the lower arms I used a General Leia forearms. The belt is made from a Kylo Ren belt cut in half. As for the poncho it is from a Saga Legends 3.75” Luke Skywalker (battle of Endor) figure. Hope y’all enjoy!" 15. The Main Man, Lobo with his custom built space bike. 3.75" scale. Fully articulated. This figure was made from several parts, but the majority was the Beast from marvel universe. His boots and hair and facial hair were sculpted. The bike was a mash up of various Star Wars speeder bikes and then hand painted with metallic elements. 3D Printed Flower Fairy

One more figure for my Legend of the Warsnail line. This is the Flower Fairy, an ancient being that protects the balance of the forest. He acts as a mentor to the heroes. The original model was done in Softimage. I added all the articulation in Modo and also reworked the armor and proportions there. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me.
  19. https://jediinsider.com/173-20075 3 3/4" Super-Articulated Chewbacca (Solo: A Star Wars Story) by Darth Daddy "This 3.75" super-articulated figure is as easy to make as it gets. Just take a Black Series 3.75" ROTJ Chewbacca and give it the bandoleer of the Force Link 2.0 Chewbacca from the Solo toy line. The goggles are from the Target Exclusive Vandor-1 Playset Chewbacca. With all the newly assembled parts you get an easy, no-paint-kitbash custom action figure of your favorite Wookiee in his latest film appearance..."

    3D printed slug warrior

Another 3D printed figure for my Legend of the Warsnail series. The original model was done in Softimage. I added all the articulation in Modo and also reworked a lot of the design there. The original figure was more like a princess and less like a warrior. This character is a slug. In the world of the Warsnail the slugs have developed legs. They tend to look down on the snails since they are usually not considered warrior material. But the Warsnail is out there to change that. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me.
