    Isn’t having to re-purchase 4 BTAS figures that many of us already have to get one new figure bad enough without having to add two repeat characters to a wave?

    Playmates seemed to have say in what other companies produced TMNT, and what they could produce. That's where the "no competing in the toy aisle" came in. I'm wondering if that right transfers to Mattel. There's a Youtube video with Brian Flynn that was posted Friday where he said he was optimistic that they can continue doing what they're doing, but he would need to discuss with the new master license holder. He's already been talking with Paramount.

    I wonder if that’s bad news for the 50,000 companies that make turtles products. It’s not like Mattel is a stranger to making their own collectibles.

    Any word on the future of the Filmation figures? They're calling these Cartoon Collection same as Filmation. Are we still going to get Filmation waves interspersed with 200x, or should we just expect the occasional figure like with Origins going forward?

    Why? You can just not watch it, so from your perspective it’s as good as cancelled.

    That’s different though. The Rulers of the Sun were just basically absorbed into the Origins line as MOTU characters. I don’t think they’re literally making Thundercats MOTU characters in the same way.

    This feels like it would make slightly more sense if they didn’t already start a cheaper version of the Ultimates line for $5 more.

    I hope they do this with other lines going forward. Just the basic accessories for the figures is fine, and they can always do accessory packs for those who want them.

    It was available at all the usual retailers. If one orders too many, they can make their own sale.
