  1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge reunites Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello to kick shell in a beautifully realized pixel art world invoking the turtles’ classic 1987 design. The game is being done by Dotemu and Tribute Games. With Bebop and Rocksteady amassing gizmos to support Krang and Shredder’s latest scheme, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge finds the turtles battling through a breathless tour of iconic TMNT locations to thwart their nemeses’ most diabolical plan yet. Armed with shell-shocking new abilities built on a foundation of classic brawling mechanics, the gang are in for an exhilarating, Foot Clan-stomping romp leading them through the sewers and bustling boroughs of New York City all the way to Dimension X. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be available on PC and consoles. Trailer directed by Gary Levesque and produced by Wizz (Quadgroup) Music: Executive producer Mutant Ninja Records Vocals: Mike Patton Music: Jb Hanak Guitar solo: Cedric Hanak Production: Olivier Dax & Jb Hanak
  2. NECA is doing another round of TMNT figure offerings through LootCrate starting off with a 7" movie figure based on the Danny Pennington. Like last year they will be doing a total of 4 sets and if you get all 4 sets then you will have access to some kind of BONUS figure which has yet to be revealed. If like last year each of the 4 sets will focus on Movie, Cartoon, Comic and Video Game. CLICK HERE for pre-order details. UPDATE: According to NECA, the 4 Crates and the bonus figure will breakdown as follows: Crate 2 is arcade-themed and comes with a NECA exclusive Armaggon figure. Crate 3 is themed after the comic books and includes a menacing Mutant Shredder exclusive figure. Crate 4 will be themed after the cartoons with an exclusive Donatello the Dark Turtle figure. Order all 4 and get a totally tubular Scrag bonus figure from the cartoon. (Supplies are limited.) Scrag was a human character who was part of Bebop and Rocksteady's gang before they were mutated. Armaggon will probably be the coolest of the figures as he is a mutant shark and an antagonist of the Turtles, who has designs on conquering the world. Crate 1: ships in August, Crate 2: ships in September, Crate 3: ships in October, Crate 4: ships in November. Each crate will cost $49.99.

  6. Everybody is Ninja Turtle-crazy! Last weekend, during what should have been the New York Toy Fair, several new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products were revealed: -Playmates announced a Last Ronin figure, out of nowhere. -NECA announced a ton of new TMNT figures, from the cartoon, the comics and also, their own version of the Last Ronin. -Finally, Mezco surprised everybody by revealing a One:12 collective 4-pack of the Ninja Turtles. Off the top of my head, here are the toy brands that have done Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products: Playmates, NECA, Super7, The Loyal Subjects (BST AXN figures), Mezco (One:12 collective), Bandai (S.H. Figuarts), Kaiyodo (Revoltech), Mattel (Hot Wheels, Mega Construx), Hasbro (Power Rangers x TMNT figures), DC Direct (Batman vs TMNT figures), ThreeZero (one sixth figures), Good Smile Company (mini statues), Prime1, PCS, Sideshow Collectibles (High-end statues),... I am probably missing more than a few. It was only a matter of time before Todd McFarlane decided to try his hands at our favorite mutant turtles! An anonymous leak told us that earlier this week, the Toddfather decided, on a whim, that his toy brand would also announce TMNT figures during the McFarlane Toys Winter Showcase, taking place February 25-27. "Why shouldn't we also make Ninja turtles?", he said. Fingers crossed for it to be true (can the Ninja Turtles cross their fingers?). DC Collectibles (now DC Direct) did release some very cool TMNT figures a few years ago, and McFarlane Toys is now a partner of DC Direct, so, on a technicality, he already did. Far-fetched? More news at 11:00... Side-eye Cowabunga, dudes! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  7. NECA today along with Judith Hoag who played the character April O' Neil in the original 90's TMNT movie announced that a new April O' Neil figure featuring the actresses likeness would be coming. The figure like the recent Tokka & Rahzar 2-Pack will be put up for pre-order and be done made to order so you won't have to worry about it selling out. Specific details about the pre-order will come at a later date. Look for Judith to post production stages of the figure on her own YouTube in the coming days. With a April O' Neil figure in the works, could an unmasked Casey Jones figure be far behind? Actor Elias Koteas who played Casey recently indicated on social media that he was now open to the idea of having his likeness featured on a Casey Jones action figure. NECA had originally sculpted an unmasked head for Casey, but was unable to include it with the recently released 2-pack because they had not been able to secure the likeness rights. Seems like an April and Unmasked Casey 2-Pack could be the way to go, what do you think? Let us know in the COMMENTS SECTION.
  8. Now you can catch America's favorite green teens in their first live-action blockbuster film! After wading in a puddle of radioactive waste, these radical reptiles are transformed into New York City's greatest crime-fighting quartet. After rescuing Raphael from The Foot, the Turtles and their allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones retreat to April's family farm to regroup. This 7" scale action figure 2-pack includes all new versions of April and Casey in their farm location clothing with the approved likenesses of Judith Hoag and Elias Koteas! Super articulated and packed with farm-specific accessories, including wrench, hammer, binoculars, sports drink, April’s drawings, and more. Window box packaging. Estimated Shipping: January 2022 at Walmart
  9. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the "Shadow Warriors" two-pack from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie by NECA. Who are the Shadow Warriors, you ask? They are Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi, from that flashback scene that lasts one minute and twenty seconds! NECA pulled a move from the old Kenner Star Wars line, where every character, even the ones that had 2 seconds of screen time, got an action figure, and delivered us this two-pack (or should we say four-pack, since it comes with 2 Splinters!) loaded with accessories. The packaging is the classic NECA TMNT box, with window in the front and pictures in the back. Since it all comes from a flashback scene, let's go back from the beginning... "Did I tell you about that dream I had, with shirtless men? - I'd rather you don't. - Alright, then here's a flashback..." The figures come with a ton of accessories: tons of weapons, 2 Splinter rats along with a rat cage (the best part of this set, in my opinion), an additional kimono (with arms) if you want both your Shadow Warriors to be wearing clothes (it's winter after all), or 2 extra 'naked' arms in case you want both of them shirtless, from that 'other' flashback/dream sequence of Splinter. "Many years ago, I lived in Japan... A pet of my master Yoshi." "Mimicking his movements and learning the mysterious art of Ninjitsu, for Yoshi was one of Japan's finest Shadow Warriors." "His only rival was a man named Oroku Saki." "And they competed in all things, but none more fiercely than for the love of a woman...Thang Shin." (Well, we don't have a figure of Shin, so i'll skip forward a bit. Long story short, Shin loves Yoshi, they flee to America, and Saki is mad). "But Saki vowed vengeance, I remember it well. As my master returned home to find his beloved Shin, lying on the floor, and then he saw her killer. Saki wasted no words, and during the struggle, my cage was broken." "I leapt to Saki's face, biting and clawing..." "...but he threw me to the floor and took one swipe with his Katana, slicing my ear." "Then he was gone, and I was alone." The rat would go on to become Master Splinter. And Oroku Saki would become Shredder. If they're going to do deep cuts like that, I can't wait for the action figure of Danny's father! More news at 11:00... "I too once had a family, Danny."

  11. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're looking at the latest TMNT Loot Crate from NECA, the one that came with the exclusive Danny Pennington action figure! As is tradition with Loot Crate, the box is filled with useless stuff that will end up in a drawer, but this time, they overdid themselves with the inclusion of the BRIGHTEST FREAKING NEON YELLOW long sleeve t-shirt ever. This box included the Exclusive Danny Pennington figure (more on him later), a set of 2 pins representing Casey Jones and Raphael, if someone drew them from memory (I assume), 2 great coasters with art from the original Mirage comics, and a long sleeve t-shirt that is as bright as the sun. I cannot see anybody wearing this unironically. ("Great! I was missing something to wear to go take out the trash!"). 4 different items, which feels a bit low for a Loot Crate. I remember them packing their boxes a bit more. Anyway, I think most people ordered it for the figure rather than the extra swag (except for that one guy that only wears neon yellow and was super happy with his crate), so let's check out Danny. First impression is that he is a tiny figure. He seems to have the body of a nine year old compared to the other figures, while the actor (Michael Turney) was 16 when he played that character in 1990. The figure is as tall as the Splinter figure from that second wave of TMNT 1990 line. It's weird! Otherwise, the sculpt is pretty good, we can recognize the actor easily. They did some great detail on the Sex Pistols t-shirt to have it movie accurate. Danny comes with 2 heads (bandana, and no bandana) and a walkman (it's that thing we used to carry around before iPods/smartphones existed). The walkman has a cable made of very thin rubber, similar to the one that came with the Tales from Space Marty McFly from their Back to the Future line, and I feel that this will definitely break down if you play with it too much. The figure itself is fine, but as usual with NECA, you have to be super careful with the articulations, and the arms tend to be very fragile and tiny (sorry about the elbow on yours, @JayC). It's a great addition to the 1990 TMNT movie line, but if you don't collect those, that is an easy pass (unless you picked all the crates to get the extra bonus figure). Surprisingly, BigBadToyStore actually has that LootCrate in stock (for a higher price) if you're still looking for it: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/179267 More news at 11:00... "Danny, are you ok? - Dad... it's just Dan now."

  16. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Cartoon) - 7" Scale Action Figure - Ultimate Chrome Dome is coming to Target for $39.99. Based on the classic 1980s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series! After being accidentally exposed to radioactive ooze, four ordinary household pets are transformed into a band of wisecracking, pizza-loving, villain-dicing adolescent reptiles! Whether it's facing fierce enemies or saving humanity from near extinction, with the guidance of their Sensei, these Heroes in a Half Shell are always ready for straight outta the sewer action! Move over, Krang. Chrome Dome is now the largest figure in the TMNT toon line. Standing menacingly at nearly 10" tall, Shredder's personal robot is built for battle. Equipped with a computer, swords and sheaths, a blaster, and 5 sets of interchangeable hands, not many would stand to face Chome Dome! Comes in Ultimate style packaging resembling classic VHS artwork.
