  1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge reunites Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello to kick shell in a beautifully realized pixel art world invoking the turtles’ classic 1987 design. The game is being done by Dotemu and Tribute Games. With Bebop and Rocksteady amassing gizmos to support Krang and Shredder’s latest scheme, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge finds the turtles battling through a breathless tour of iconic TMNT locations to thwart their nemeses’ most diabolical plan yet. Armed with shell-shocking new abilities built on a foundation of classic brawling mechanics, the gang are in for an exhilarating, Foot Clan-stomping romp leading them through the sewers and bustling boroughs of New York City all the way to Dimension X. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be available on PC and consoles. Trailer directed by Gary Levesque and produced by Wizz (Quadgroup) Music: Executive producer Mutant Ninja Records Vocals: Mike Patton Music: Jb Hanak Guitar solo: Cedric Hanak Production: Olivier Dax & Jb Hanak
  2. NECA is doing another round of TMNT figure offerings through LootCrate starting off with a 7" movie figure based on the Danny Pennington. Like last year they will be doing a total of 4 sets and if you get all 4 sets then you will have access to some kind of BONUS figure which has yet to be revealed. If like last year each of the 4 sets will focus on Movie, Cartoon, Comic and Video Game. CLICK HERE for pre-order details. UPDATE: According to NECA, the 4 Crates and the bonus figure will breakdown as follows: Crate 2 is arcade-themed and comes with a NECA exclusive Armaggon figure. Crate 3 is themed after the comic books and includes a menacing Mutant Shredder exclusive figure. Crate 4 will be themed after the cartoons with an exclusive Donatello the Dark Turtle figure. Order all 4 and get a totally tubular Scrag bonus figure from the cartoon. (Supplies are limited.) Scrag was a human character who was part of Bebop and Rocksteady's gang before they were mutated. Armaggon will probably be the coolest of the figures as he is a mutant shark and an antagonist of the Turtles, who has designs on conquering the world. Crate 1: ships in August, Crate 2: ships in September, Crate 3: ships in October, Crate 4: ships in November. Each crate will cost $49.99.
  3. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the Michelangelo as The Mummy figure from the Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line by NECA. This figure was available early as part of the Target Fall Geekout event and will be released everywhere else later. Michelangelo is the third turtle from that line to get the Universal Monsters makeover, after Raphael and Leonardo. The very first impression, after being spoiled with HUGE figures for Raphael and Leonardo, is that this one is definitely on the smaller side. The box has a 'normal' size compared to the previous 2 (or same size as April's box). The box art is gorgeous, as usual, and might be my favorite of the 4 released figures. Michelangelo comes with an additional head sculpt (more on that later), 2 extra pairs of hands, a bendable cobra, 2 Ankh nunchucks and extra pieces of bandage to hang on him. The figure is definitely smaller than the other previously released turtles, but what he lacks in size, he has in details. The details on that figure are great, just like the 3 previous figures from that line. He has Egyptian hieroglyphs on his shell, and extra bandages to add on his arms. The second headsculpt is a fantastic addition, as it is an homage to the rotting Leonardo mask from the third movie, TMNT III from 1993, that popped up in some auction a few years ago, with the same dead eyes and teeth. The next ones in that line should be Splinter as Van Helsing, Donatello as the Invisible Man and Casey Jones as the Phantom of the Opera. More news at 11:00... Walk like an Egyptian turtle...
  4. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the Leonardo as The Hunchback figure from the Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line by NECA. This figure was available early as part of the Target Fall Geekout event and will be released everywhere else later. When it was announced, I didn't have much expectations for that one, actually. Leonardo is a cool turtle, but the Hunchback? Why the Hunchback when there are perfectly fine other monsters, like Dracula, the Werewolf, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc... still available?! Well, it turns out that, once you have it in hand, it's a pretty amazing figure! The box for this one is HUGE! I should have taken a pic next to the other boxes. It's taller and way deeper than the other Universal Monsters x TMNT figures. That big shell of his does take a lot of space! Leonardo as The Hunchback comes with 3 extra pairs of hands, a skull, a brain in a jar, a pair of shovels, a bone, his katanas, and fire effects for the katanas (that's new!). The details on the figure are perfect in their creepiness (he has spiders crawling all over, etc) and the awesome feature of that one is that his shell opens to reveal... a lot of storage space! Remember, when we were kids, and we could store the extra weapons of our turtles inside their shells? It's the same concept, but gloomier. First, there is a huge lock on the side, and once open, you can see a couple of shelves (to display the skull and the brain jars, with pegs for them to be secure), you can put the katanas through the shell (ouch!), and it keeps the shovels and bones in place on the other side. That figure has great sculpt and details, and I ended up preferring it to the Raphael as Frankenstein, even though I had no expectation for it to be that good. April O'Neil as the Bride of Frankenstein and Michaelangelo as the Mummy were also part of the Target Fall Geekout event, and will be the next 2 reviews, as part of the October Spooky month theme. Boo! More news at 11:00... Cowabungaaaaaargh!
  5. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce reviews! This week, we're having a look at the first figure from the new NECA line of Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Raphael as the Frankenstein's monster. NECA has been killing it with their TMNT line, and with their Universal Monsters line, so there is no reason why they wouldn't keep doing that with those crossover figures. First things first, the art box is gorgeous, with old-fashioned, horror movie poster vibe, and bright colors. That is definitely something that will catch your eye on a shelf. If I had more space to display it, I'd be tempted to put the figure with the box behind it. It has the usual NECA box velcro at the front, to reveal the figure through a window. And first impression: that thing is HUGE! Frankenstein's Monster Raph comes with 2 extra pair of hands (closed fists and weapon gripping hands) and lightning bolt sais, which look awesome. But the best part of that figure is all the details on it. NECA did a fantastic job in adding details to the figure to make it look more... "Boris Karloff-y" ? The face has the classic Frankenstein's Monster shape, with a forehead that's more like a fivehead, the scars, the haircut and the bolts in the neck. The figure also has a chain around it, as if to hold the shell together. The shell has some amazing details, like a NY city sewer cover used as part of the shell, a handlebar to pass the chain in or a pressure gauge. Stellar job on the details and paint. Those figures have also had incredible stop-motion promotional videos, made by the super talented DGDX animation, which I invite you to check on NECA's social medias. The next ones will be Leonardo as the Hunchback, Michaelangelo as The Mummy, April O'Neil as The Bride of Frankenstein, and recently announces, Splinter as Van Hellsing. You can be sure that I will be getting those! More news at 11:00... Cowabungaaaaaargh!
  6. It's Wednesday and you know what that means: ToyFarce reviews! This week, we're having a look at the weird pairing of April O'Neil with Scott Stapp, the singer of Creed, by NECA (or 'Casey Jones', as it was written on the box). Those figures are from the farmhouse scene in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, when April O'Neil goes there to recover after a successful surgery to get better looking knees articulations (I haven't seen the movie in a while). NECA has taken a page from the old Kenner book, and started doing figures from scenes that only lasted a few minutes in the movie (like the "Shadow Warriors" 2-pack, that was taken from a flashback scene that lasted a couple of minutes), so we are now getting those figures with the clothes they wore during the farmhouse scene. Well... we're still buying them, so I guess it's working! April has a different blouse and skirt from the previous version of the figure, and vest-less Casey has the same mask-less facesculpts as the single release from a few months ago. The set comes with... *inhales* an extra headsculpt for April, an extra masked headsculpt for Casey, extra hands for both, Casey's mask, a bottle of juice, a bottle of turtle wax, 2 drawings with 3 pencils, binoculars, tools (a hammer and a wrench) and a katana. The Creed singer likeness is pretty spot on, and it goes very well with the TMNT Musical Mutagen tour set! NECA has always done some nice figures from musicians so let's hope they'll do even more down the line. I just hope they won't put them in two-packs with characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie! More news at 11:00... With Arms Wide Opeeeen!

  8. "We'll tear your shells apart."
  9. Everybody is Ninja Turtle-crazy! Last weekend, during what should have been the New York Toy Fair, several new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products were revealed: -Playmates announced a Last Ronin figure, out of nowhere. -NECA announced a ton of new TMNT figures, from the cartoon, the comics and also, their own version of the Last Ronin. -Finally, Mezco surprised everybody by revealing a One:12 collective 4-pack of the Ninja Turtles. Off the top of my head, here are the toy brands that have done Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products: Playmates, NECA, Super7, The Loyal Subjects (BST AXN figures), Mezco (One:12 collective), Bandai (S.H. Figuarts), Kaiyodo (Revoltech), Mattel (Hot Wheels, Mega Construx), Hasbro (Power Rangers x TMNT figures), DC Direct (Batman vs TMNT figures), ThreeZero (one sixth figures), Good Smile Company (mini statues), Prime1, PCS, Sideshow Collectibles (High-end statues),... I am probably missing more than a few. It was only a matter of time before Todd McFarlane decided to try his hands at our favorite mutant turtles! An anonymous leak told us that earlier this week, the Toddfather decided, on a whim, that his toy brand would also announce TMNT figures during the McFarlane Toys Winter Showcase, taking place February 25-27. "Why shouldn't we also make Ninja turtles?", he said. Fingers crossed for it to be true (can the Ninja Turtles cross their fingers?). DC Collectibles (now DC Direct) did release some very cool TMNT figures a few years ago, and McFarlane Toys is now a partner of DC Direct, so, on a technicality, he already did. Far-fetched? More news at 11:00... Side-eye Cowabunga, dudes! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  10. NECA today along with Judith Hoag who played the character April O' Neil in the original 90's TMNT movie announced that a new April O' Neil figure featuring the actresses likeness would be coming. The figure like the recent Tokka & Rahzar 2-Pack will be put up for pre-order and be done made to order so you won't have to worry about it selling out. Specific details about the pre-order will come at a later date. Look for Judith to post production stages of the figure on her own YouTube in the coming days. With a April O' Neil figure in the works, could an unmasked Casey Jones figure be far behind? Actor Elias Koteas who played Casey recently indicated on social media that he was now open to the idea of having his likeness featured on a Casey Jones action figure. NECA had originally sculpted an unmasked head for Casey, but was unable to include it with the recently released 2-pack because they had not been able to secure the likeness rights. Seems like an April and Unmasked Casey 2-Pack could be the way to go, what do you think? Let us know in the COMMENTS SECTION.
  11. Now you can catch America's favorite green teens in their first live-action blockbuster film! After wading in a puddle of radioactive waste, these radical reptiles are transformed into New York City's greatest crime-fighting quartet. After rescuing Raphael from The Foot, the Turtles and their allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones retreat to April's family farm to regroup. This 7" scale action figure 2-pack includes all new versions of April and Casey in their farm location clothing with the approved likenesses of Judith Hoag and Elias Koteas! Super articulated and packed with farm-specific accessories, including wrench, hammer, binoculars, sports drink, April’s drawings, and more. Window box packaging. Estimated Shipping: January 2022 at Walmart
