  1. I don't think McFarlane has included an extra head in any release...ever. (as far as I know) Hard enough to get extra hands on occasion. Thats a whole 'nother figure release for Todd!! Lol
  2. I tried to scale the stands to match as best as I could Assuming the stands are correctly sized to each, individual figure: If the stand is standard size, like the Marine on the left, then he has a bit more mass, but really no taller. If the stand is megasized, like Darkseid's stand on the right, then he is going to be massive... I guess we will see once they start showing in hand images.
  3. Have you found any pictures with marines for comparison?
  4. Are they really 'Mega-sized' though? If thats standard megasize packaging, they dont look to be much bigger than a Space Marine in height..maybe a little wider. all three reuse legs, torso and upper arms. Overall, I would say McFarlane has been giving pretty good value for toys, keeping the majority at $20 (although I expect that to change soon). It evens out fair for me in the long run, but I don't like his trend with these. Already preorder btw.
  5. I'm right there with you...I have a bunch of Lobo's, including the huge Mattel one they put out before the BAF. I have the old DC Direct bike (I think that was who made it) with the Dog if I recall, but I would definitely buy a McFarlane one (with Dog and/or Space Dolphin)
  6. Monstarr looks great. Much bigger than I pictured. I'm surprised the next Conan wave is not much farther along...I guess I don't have to worry about BBTS charging for it anytime soon (or this year probably) Sun man's face just looks a bit too goofy for me
  7. Surprisingly, the Peacemaker unmasked looks 'slightly' better in hand for some reason...like at the low end of OK. You can see a faint Cena resemblance. I'm still a little salty about the lack of weapons. Thankfully, there are some awesome 3d prints being sold out there (MRG Toyz), including the big gun and a full Peacemaker gun set with silencer, clips and a belt that holds them all. btw, if Im breaking a forum rule, just let me know. I'm still new to this stuff.
  8. It seems like they kept the price of a deluxe set and removed the sarcophagus. Looks like the 15% increase in Marvel Legends and others is creeping into everything. I wonder how Todd has avoided it so far? (except by not including extras )
  9. I don't think this list is unbelievable. In fact, some of the choices make sense as far as 'inclusion' goes (and I mean that in a positive sense). Stalker & Spirit are fan favorites as well. Zarana is one of the few female villains. Croc Master is an easy way to make a deluxe box and charge more with less effort (One I would buy in a heartbeat). Tomax and Xamot would be weird to be released as individual figures when a two pack would be very cost effective (different torso and head for each, everything else can be duplicated) Crimson Guard is an army builder. Vipers are all repaints. I hope the Tiger Force/Target rumor is true. I agree it would seem they have learned a lesson and give target alternate decos of figures instead of full exclusives (or first release of new figure with alt deco coming later in main line)
  10. Why not make them to order? Super7 has it right (except for the delivery part). I'll never understand the forced scarcity model for toy makers. I don't collect to resell later or to make money off them. I collect the things I like. It's sad when toy companies make things I like, but due to the rarity and difficulty in getting them, I rarely bother to even look at what they are offering. In the end, it's leaving money on the table.
  11. Are we sure this is the actual release look or the possible platinum edition colors? You never know with McFarlane.
  12. I don't mind her look of the figure and I'll pick one up. So far, I like the new looks and I'm collecting this and the Origins line at the same time, so I'll always have my original designs (mostly) to enjoy. If they ever do a classic Teela, I'll make this one an Amazon for my Dc Shelf. I'm looking forward to the show...the Bashasaurus is in it!!!! (probably brief I'm sure)
  13. Well, that was the outcome I expected. Hung up on Captcha screen. Sold out in at least 7 minutes. Scalpers rejoice
  14. I was a little hesitant at $45, but the figure was cool. $57? I don't know...maybe a little too much for extra packaging.
