  1. So do I. I also want Han without his jacket and with the restraints from the carbon freeze chamber.
  2. Educated guess based on the first three figures being larger sized characters. Not a question of following through but a question of getting licensor approval, which they don't seem to have for anything yet, and keeping the license. Do we know for sure they have the license? NECA apparently didn't have it.

Neca AvP Arcade Appearance Warrior Predator Review

I don't think it would be a minor tweak to get rid of that texture, and retooling frequently means a manufacturer can't make they other version again. They would likely need to make all new body parts, but considering all the Kenner tribute and video game Preds they're releasing, it's not like they wouldn't get their money's worth.
  4. It would, actually, but I'm with abnuggler. I'm not 100% sure these figures are getting released.
  5. Bane will be followed by Swamp Thing. They really seem to have a thing for the huge characters.

I still wish they would make a new Predator body without netting for the Predators that didn't have it. Painting the figure and pretending that texture isn't there just doesn't do it for me. Otherwise, he looks great.
  7. They've frequently, but not in every case, hired people who don't understand the characters. Ayer approached Suicide Squad with a fundamental misunderstanding of the purpose of Task Force X, and Suicide Squad's problems spiraled from there. James Gunn understands comics. I'd be surprised if he tried to turn a bunch of villains into heroes or have them save the world or make Killer Croc into a ridiculous black stereotype. He also gets dark humor (for movies, at least) better than most filmmakers out there, so while I expect jokes, I'm not terribly concerned about the tone. Walter Hamada also doesn't seem like the type to try to meddle with his filmmakers, so this could be great.
  8. But that's not what they did with the Reeve Superman.
  9. It seems weird that Mattel is partnering with WB on a movie about anything but is losing the master license for DC toys.

Birds Of Prey - Character Teaser Trailer

I think Margot Robbie was actually kind of bad as Harley Quinn, but I'm willing to put at least 50% of the blame on David Ayer. What kind of idiot casts an actress who had just proven in the Wolf of Wall Street that she can do a Long Island accent so flawlessly that she fools actual New Yorkers who saw the movie into thinking she was from there (my mother and father, for example) to play a comic book character that speaks with a New York accent and then apparently told her to NOT DO THE ACCENT?

Birds Of Prey - Character Teaser Trailer

You mean that's not a Hot Topic commercial?
  12. Great place for it. Two years ago, I would have said that SYFY was no place for a Chucky series, since it can't be done justice without an R-rating, but after watching season 1 of Happy!, that sentiment no longer holds water, and things can't get much more "R-rated" than that show. I'm actually really looking forward to this.
  13. Bugs me that we get a pretty good looking classic Harley out of this line but the Joker figure coming out looks wicked goofy and has more in common design-wise with those Mattel kids toys at Target than any depiction he's ever had in the comics.
