  1. Damn right. I see he's sold out now, and I don't know how long he was up, but I managed to grab Nada. I had almost forgot that Walmart likes to put up their excusives a few minutes early sometimes. The WWE Hollywood exclusives were up at about 9:56, but I couldn't put good old Roddy in my cart until about two minutes later.
  2. The Storm, Dr. Doom, and Carnage PFs are insane. The Cap PF is looking really good, too, but the proto has a very noticeable neck seam that Sideshow will hopefully fix.
  3. He technically already has it. Todd can make essentially any DC character or look from virtually any media he wants as long as DC Comics approves it.
  4. Sometimes the director matters just as much as a writer if not moreso. A great director can turn a bad script into a good movie and a great script into masterpiece. A bad director will turn a bad script into a terrible movie and great script into another terrible movie. That said, David Goyer is also a bad director.
  5. That Joker is frustrating as hell. The render from last year had mostly black hair with a swirl of green, just like the show, but the portrait wasn't quite right. Now the portrait is perfect, but the hair is all green. Several people in the stream asked about the green hair and so far, no answer. They said Joker's in production and they have a paint master that they couldn't show for some reason. So the hair is a mystery for now. The head with the hat looks great, so there's that.
  6. I deleted his post. And yours. I will lock the thread if this keeps going. You were right. Move on.
  7. @Mr_Scary92 Give it a rest. @kILLMonger I agree with you, but don't egg him and the others on, please.
  8. Anson Mount, Yuri Lowenthal, Gillian Jacobs, Kevin Pollak, Faran Tahir, Fred Tatasciore, and Janet Varney!
  9. It is the first half, yes. It will undoubtedly be better than Lynch's fascinating disaster, but no matter how good it is, none of us should count on seeing part 2. WB is unlikely to want a second movie, because there's little to no chance of this being a huge hit, and even if they do, Villeneuve seems to have no interest in working for them again after the HBO Max decision. Be cautiously optimistic about its quality and its chances, but also be prepared for what may amount to no more than a big budget experiment.
  10. Was anyone out there actually asking for the weird TNBA Joker with blue skin and no lips? I'm not trying to be snarky. I'm genuinely serious.
  11. A HISS tank with a new version of Rip It? Pretty damn cool. Kinda makes me wish I was still collecting 3 3/4."
  12. Thailog without armor was the easiest gargoyle for NECA to make, since he's just a repaint of Goliath.
  13. I'm gonna say it, because so many people never seem to understand. Sideshow will have new stuff in their booth every other day. Tomorrow will be an all-request closer-look show of the exact same stuff (plus one new item). Wednesday there will be all new stuff, then the cycle repeats (minus the one new item on the next day, probably) through Sunday.
  14. I like what I'm seeing and have total faith that this will be the best Dune adaptation yet. It's going to be really disappointing when WB doesn't greenlight part 2 due to box office numbers.
  15. If this Roadblock and Breaker aren't for you, that's totally fine. They look like good figures, even if you or others find them boring. There's plenty of collectors who don't. I think there's a place for classic-inspired figures where it makes sense as long as Hasbro doesn't ditch the modern stuff, too. Breaker's obviously inspired by the classic '82 figure, but he's updated significantly from that design, even if you don't recognize it. Many of these characters have dozens of figures in the 3 3/4" scale, and their designs have evolved (sometimes gradually and sometimes dramatically) over the decades. It would be a shame if that were to stop now, and the GI Joe team had decided to over-correct for a problem they don't actually have.
