Mattel Studios is expanding its animated Hot Wheels Let’s Race franchise with Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Attack of the T-Rex, an all-new animated special set to premiere on Netflix on October 20.
 

In Attack of the T-Rex, a legendary dinosaur has been sleeping beneath the tracks of Hot Wheels City for millions of years. When the massive creature is accidentally awakened, Coop, the newly appointed leader of the Ultimate Garage, must uncover the ancient secret behind the beast's extraordinary power. With the T-Rex threatening to destroy the Ultimate Garage and the entire city, Coop and his friends must race against time to stop the prehistoric menace.

The special will also reveal the secret origins of Hot Wheels City, promising to expand the franchise’s mythology while delivering the high-speed action and humor audiences have come to expect from the animated series.

Mattel is also bringing elements of the animated adventure into the real world with new products inspired by the special. Among the offerings is the Hot Wheels City Ultimate T-Rex Garage, available now at retailers worldwide. The playset features an oversized T-Rex, a four-car elevator, storage space for more than 50 vehicles and Speed Snap compatibility.
