  1. HBO announced today that both DC series, Titans and Doom Patrol, will end after Season 4 on HBO Max. Both series have wrapped up their six-episode Season 4A run and the upcoming Season 4B will be the shows’ final chapters. Both series will be given proper endings. Both series are from Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Titans were developed by Goldsman, Johns, and Berlanti based on the characters from DC, stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Joshua Orpin, Franka Potente, and Joseph Morgan. Doom Patrol was developed by Carver based on characters created for DC by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani, and the series was based on DC’s most recognized superheroes: “Robotman” aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), “Negative Man” aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), “Elasti-Woman” aka Rita Farr (April Bowlby), “Crazy Jane” (Diane Guerrero), “Cyborg” aka Victor Stone (Joivan Wade), joined by former super-villain “Madame Rouge” aka Laura de Mille (Michelle Gomez). The series also stars Skye Roberts, Riley Shanahan, and Matthew Zuk.

  10. The fourth season of DC's Titans will be seeing some well-known villains from the DC multiverse, with the likes of Brother Blood, Mother Mayhem, and Jinx. Joseph Morgan and Franka Potente have been cast as series regulars and Lisa Ambalavanar as a recurring for the upcoming fourth season with Morgan to portray Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood, an introvert with strong intelligence and hidden darker nature. Potente will play May Bennett/Mother Mayhem, a natural leader who always carries the threat of violence with her, a predator in human form with an unfettered belief in her mission in the world. Ambalavanar will recur as Jinx, a quick-witted criminal loner and a master of dark magic with joy for manipulating others and creating chaos while doing it. The characters of Jinx and Brother Blood have been featured in the animated Teen Titans series, and Sebastian Blood appeared in the second season of Arrow on The CW.
  11. Apple TV+ today announced a series order for a new original live-action series from Legendary's Monsterverse franchise. Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the series explores one family's journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch. The untitled Monsterverse series will be produced by Legendary Television and executive produced by co-creators Chris Black Chris Black ("Star Trek: Enterprise," "Outcast"), who will also serve as showrunner, and Matt Fraction ("Hawkeye"), alongside Safehouse Pictures' Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell and Toho Co. Ltd. Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita will executive produce for Toho. Toho is the owner of the Godzilla character and has licensed the rights to Legendary for this series as a natural byproduct of their long-term relationship on the film franchise. Legendary's Monsterverse is an expansive story universe of multi-layered experiences centering around humanity's battle to survive in a world that is under siege by a catastrophic new reality - the monsters of our myths and legends are real. Beginning in 2014 with "Godzilla" and continuing with 2017's "Kong: Skull Island," 2019's "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," and 2021's "Godzilla vs. Kong," Monsterverse films have accumulated close to two billion dollars globally at the box office and is ever expanding with the latest iteration being a new anime series, "Skull Island." The untitled Monsterverse series will premiere globally on Apple TV+. alongside an expanding offering of sweeping, world-building dramas including upcoming "Wool," based on Hugh Howey's New York Times best-selling trilogy of the same name; "Foundation," based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, and created by David S. Goyer; "Invasion," a new sci-fi drama series from Academy Award-nominated and two-time Emmy Award-nominated producer Simon Kinberg and David Weil; and post-apocalyptic series "See" starring Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and Alfre Woodard.

The first three episodes of season three will debut THURSDAY, AUGUST 12, with subsequent episodes launching weekly every Thursday through October 21 on HBO Max. In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.   14. The third season of Titans kicks off on HBO Max on August 12th and the official Titans Twitter account has a new batch of brand new headshots for new and returning characters. The first three episodes of Titans season 3 will premiere on HBO Max on August 12th. All remaining episodes will air every Thursday until the finale drops on October 21st.

In the upcoming season three of the dramatic, DC live-action adventure series Titans, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats. During the show’s cast and producer panel at DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes on Saturday, August 22, the following new characters were revealed to be appearing on the show this season: Red Hood (Series star Curran Walters) — Jason Todd now dons a new identity in his obsession to take down his old team. Barbara Gordon (to be cast) — Former Batgirl Barbara Gordon is now Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department. Although she has a past relationship with Dick Grayson, she is wary of the Titans now being in Gotham. Dr. Jonathan Crane (to be cast) — Known to most as the Scarecrow, Crane is a current inmate at Arkham Asylum and offers his services as a profiler and consultant for the Gotham City Police Department. Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series was developed by Akiva Goldsman & Geoff Johns & Greg Berlanti, based on characters from DC. Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Greg Walker, Sarah Schechter and Richard Hatem are the executive producers. The first two seasons of Titans are now streaming on DC UNIVERSE in the U.S.
  16. HBO Max has revealed the supersuit for the new highly anticipated character “Blackfire” (Damaris Lewis) from the action-packed DC series TITANS. Created by costume designer Laura Jean (“LJ”) Shannon, the suit follows the previously revealed “Starfire” and “Red Hood” costumes. Lewis plays the first-ever live-action “Blackfire” and was introduced to fans at the end of season two. The first two seasons of TITANS are now available to stream on the HBO Max streaming service with season three of the Max Original, which is currently in production, premiering later this year.   17. Jay Lycurgo is set to recur during Season 3 of the live-action superhero team-up series Titans as Tim Drake. The character of Drake is described as a streetwise kid who’s managed to grow up on the toughest streets without losing his indelible belief in heroism. Tim's easy-going demeanor is backed up by a near-genius mind — a natural detective with a perception of detail far beyond his years. Tim Drake's role in DC comics is to become the third Robin, after Jason Todd and Dick Grayson. For the Titans series, Dick (played by Brenton Thwaites), has transitioned to the Nightwing persona, while Jason Todd (Curran Walters) is due to become Red Hood in Season 3.   18. Savannah Welch will be playing the character of Barbara Gordon for the upcoming third season of Titans on HBO Max. In Season 3, Gordon is Gotham City Police Commissioner. Uses a wheelchair. She used to be Batgirl until she was shot and paralyzed by the Joker. She has a combative relationship with Bruce Wayne. Her life gets more complicated when Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) returns to Gotham, rekindling their old romance and starting a new crime fighting partnership. Welch is credited for her role on the History Channel military drama “Six,” in which she played a Marine who suffered an amputation in combat. Welch become a spokesperson for the disability community after becoming an amputee herself in an accident in 2016 and losing one of her legs. Source: Variety

  21. Finding himself at a new low, Hank is cage-fighting for money to support his unhealthy habits. As Mercy Graves has a breakthrough with her “Project Rakshasa,” Dick has a revelation of his own. Iain Glen guest stars as Bruce Wayne; additional guest cast includes McKinley Freeman as Justin, Natalie Gumede as Mercy Graves, Tameka Griffiths as Eriel, and Cliff Saunders as Elko Joe.   24. After his intentional attack on two police officers results in his arrest, Dick finally finds peace in a Nevada prison. But the hero he’s left behind has not been buried forever. Meanwhile, Rachel befriends a runaway girl and takes her under her wing – only to find that her own powers might not fully be under her control. Back at Titans Tower, Gar is reunited with Conner and Krypto, but when Mercy Graves sets her sights on retrieving “Subject 13” for Cadmus, Gar finds himself caught in the crossfire.   25. In the aftermath of Dick’s confession, the Titans’ world is rocked to the core – and Dick’s fear that his secret would break up the Titans comes true. Abandoning Titans Tower, the heroes all go their separate ways. Hank and Dawn return to Wyoming, Jason and Rose leave together, and Donna agrees to take Rachel with her. Kory, meanwhile, is surprised to hear from Faddei (guest star ROBBIE JONES), who’s returned with bad news from her home planet. Leaving Gar alone to tend to the still wounded Conner, Dick departs as well, in search of absolution for Jericho’s death. Release: 11/01/2019
