  1. Warner Bros. hasn't officially confirmed the following but Deadline is reporting that the release of Legendary’s Dune is no longer going on December 18th, rather October 1st, 2021. This is also the same release date for Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Sources are figuring that Warner Bros. will be officially setting a new release date for this feature as well. The first reason for the release changes are that Warrner Bros. didn't want two major tentpoles –one a franchise starter, the other a franchise sequel– within days of each other, especially with Wonder Woman 1984 still set for Christmas

  6. In an interview published by The New York Times via Deadline, Ben Affleck has revealed his true reasons on why he decided to leave The Batman and it all came down to alcohol. Director Matt Reeves sent out a tweet today revealing in some many words that Peter Sarsgaard has been added to the cast of The Batman, Warner Bros and DC’s latest take on the superhero franchise. No character information was provided but it's possible Sarsgaard could be playing Harvey Dent.   14. Not even a day after it was announced that Jonah Hill turned down a role for 'The Batman.' Matt Reeves has stepped up and announced with a tweet that Paul Dano will now play The Riddler in the new movie.
