  2. While not available for purchase, NECA's third wave of Target exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Series figures are now listed on the Target website. These are supposed to see release this month. You can also check out new PR images for the wave below. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 7" Scale Action Figure - Cartoon Series 3 April O'Neil & Foot Soldier Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 7" Scale Action Figure - Cartoon Series 3 Leatherhead & Slasher Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 7" Scale Action Figure - Cartoon Series 3 Casey Jones & Foot Soldier
  3. Randy Falk from NECA Toys recently said in an interview that he thought we would see the release of 40 different figures by the end of the year for their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated series line. Because of that, we thought it would be fun to compile a list of all the figures we know about, and see how close we are to that 40 number. We are going to assume Randy wasn't including the original SDCC exclusive figures that were later released in the Target waves, or the re-issue of the Shredder and Krang figures that were originally offered in wave 1, and then released in a new 2-pack. We will count all the figures in wave 2, even though all but two were repaints of figures from wave 1. Based on what we know, we don't quit get to 40 yet, but we assume NECA has a few more unknown surprises in store for us between now and the end of the year. So lets start off with the figures that have already been released in the first two Target store exclusive waves. Wave 1: Michelangelo & FOOT Soldier, Donatello & Krang, Leonardo & Shredder, Raphael & Foot Soldier Wave 2: Bebop & Rocksteady, Raphel & Michelangelo, Leonardo & Donatello, FOOT Solider 1 & FOOT Soldier 2 That bring the total up to 16 figures. Now lets look at the figures we know are coming for waves 3 and 4. Wave 3 is slated for release in late June and wave 4 will be out shortly after that. Wave 3: April O'Neil & Bashed FOOT Soldier, Casey Jones & Slashed FOOT Soldier, Leatherhead and Slash Wave 4: Splinter & Baxter Stockman, Granitor & Traag, Roadkill Rodney & Triceraton-Soldier That bring our total up to 28 figures. Now Wave 5 which Randy said would be out by the end of the year has yet to be revealed, but they did show off at Toy Fair Triceraton Captain Zorax and Zork, so we are going to assume those will make up at least two figures in that wave. That bring us to 30 figures. Now besides the regular 2-packs coming to Target, NECA has announced the release of 3 different Deluxe figures for this year that will around cost $30 each. Deluxe Metalhead Deluxe FOOT Soldier with multiple heads, hands and accessories Deluxe Krang with Android Body That brings the total figures being released to 33. Now the Deluxe Krang is also coming with a mini Baby Shredder figure which we are not counting as a separate figure, though I guess technically it could considered as such. We also know that NECA is releasing figures of Rocksteady and Bebop in bunny costumes through Lootcrate. No images of those have been released at this time. So that brings the total up to 35 figures. We can assume wave 5 will at least have 4 more figures in it, which would bring the total to 39. NECA also recently teased a big priced item was coming to Target around the holidays that would cost in the neighborhood of $100, so that may include the 40th figure. Check out more images below for all the figures shown here, and we will update you as more stuff is revealed in the coming days.
  4. The Funko POP! Star Wars: The Mandalorian - The Child Concerned figure which is being sold as a Target exclusive is available now for pre-order.
  5. Despite the 2020 WonderCon convention being postponed, Funko is still moving forward with their 2020 exclusives from the event with a Virtual Con that will take place April 10-12. For Star Wars, look for them to release a Burgundy Boba Fett Pop! vinyl figure which will also be released jointly at Target stores.

  10. Remember those San Diego Comic Con exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 6" exclusive figures based on the 80's animated cartoon that NECA did in 2017? The set that included the four turtles, Shredder, 2 Foot Soldiers and Krang? Well if you do, but missed out on picking them up you will have another chance. NECA will be re-releasing those exact same figures as 2-Packs which will be made available exclusively at Target Stores. The figures are exactly the same as the one released at SDCC but they of course will have new packaging. The sets will cost $50 each and be available in late February or early March. The two packs will include Donatello Vs Krang, Michelangelo Vs Foot Soldier, Leonardo Vs Shredder and Raphael Vs Foot Soldier. If the line does well then that could open the door for NECA possibly doing additional TMNT figures down the road. Check out images of the sets below which come via Fwoosh and if you want better looks at the figures then be sure to check out our original review of the SDCC set.
  11. Shown below are official images for the upcoming WWE Elite Collection Pete Dunne figure from Mattel. This figure will be released as a Target store exclusive. The figure should be out by early 2019.
  12. Hasbro has taken an obscure character that appeared in a movie largely panned by fans and critics and given us a fairly solid figure with this new Target exclusive 6" Black Series Moloch figure. Moloch was a character that had maybe 5 minutes of screen time in this years Solo: A Star Wars story and while I can't say this was a figure I was dying for, once in hand I have to admit it is a pretty cool figure. The packaging is the same as any other Black Series figure. The black window-box with red highlights featuring a bio on the back in multiple languages. For accessories you get a staff, pistol that fits in a working holster and removable faceplate to protect him from sunlight when he goes outside. The staff has a little bit of white paint at the end but basically looks like brown plastic. The pistol has a unique design with a metallic paint for most of the weapon. The handle looks like brown plastic. The faceplate features a cream and metallic paint that matches up nicely with the rest of the figure. I like how the face plate fits in the mask and I like how the mask itself on the figure has some articulation where the jaw portion pulls down. For the figure itself, I really like the sculpting and paint details on the headsculpt featured inside the helmet. I think Hasbro did a really nice job. The rest of the figure is draped in a robe like outfit which looks nicely detailed. You have an outer coat that is removable and while the sleeves of the coat are sculpted they match up pretty good with the outfit under the coat. Articulation is pretty basic. You get single-hinged elbows they do swivel and a waist swivel, but the lower portion of the figure is one solid piece of plastic making more a base than actual legs. This does make the figure stable so its not following over and also gives the figure a pretty hefty weight. The head does not move at all but you can have him bend forward or back at the waist area. The hands are gloved and the right hand is sculpted with a trigger finger for the blaster and the left one is a grip hand for the staff. You can put the staff and the pistol in either hand though. The belt on the figure is a separate piece but not removable. The brown harness on the chest is sculpted and then their is rope type thing that goes across the chest as well which is a separate piece attached to the figure. While the figure doesn't have a wide range of movement, I think Hasbro did a good job capturing the likeness of the character. It would be cool if Hasbro ended up doing Moloch's boss in 6" form but I don't really see that happening. This figure is sold as a Target exclusive which is available now and retails for $24.99. DPCI # is 087-16-0134. Check out more images for this figure below in our GALLERY!

  16. Robotkingdom has listed for pre-order the Target exclusive Black Series Bespin Leia figure which we first saw at SDCC. Robotkingdom is an overseas etailer that often gets in figures that here in the US will be store exclusives such as this one. Shown below is an official image for the upcoming Bespin Leia (not to be mistaken with the Bespin Gown Leia or Hoth Leia). Bespin Leia essentially incorporates Leia's Hoth outfit minus the jacket with the hairstyle she switched to when she wore the Bespin gown in Empire Strikes Back. The figure does have a different headsculpt from the one that will be featured on the Black Series Hoth Leia figure that will see a normal release in the line. Robotkingdom is currently listing the Bespin Leia figure with an October 1 release date. It's unknown when Target stores will start to carry it here in the US, but likely it will be after October 1.

  18. Review By: Robert Greenwood He came from 200,000 leagues from the bottom of the sea on a tidal wave from the South China Sea to the sands of Waikiki. A predator and a scavenger of the Seven Seas with a taste of destruction in his jaws, he is the biggest maneater alive. Heroes of WCW tremble in fear when the first monster of the dungeon of doom is near. SHARK ATTACK SHARK ATTACK SHARK ATTACK!!!!! Mattel has once again delivered on one amazing and unique wrestling figure. The Shark aka John Tenta. As figures go, this Elite has captured not only the goofy/cartoonish look of the outfit and facepaint but honestly captured John "the Shark" Tenta's face to the T. Absolutely authentic to this future Hall of Famer, from his ponytail to his body structure, this is from heel to forehead the Shark! Let's go over the actual meat and potatoes. He comes packed with only one accessory which is a removable headband that has inscribed on it "Attack." His wrestling gear is decked out in garish shark theme elements from his pants having literal sharks on it to his abdomen sporting an open "Jaws" inspired shark mouth that says Shark. His right forearm band is marked with Shark attack. You get the feeling they needed to push the "Shark" elements just a bit. The figure retains all the articulation you have come to expect for the Elite series, which makes him an ideal figure to display or play with. Especially if you have a Hulk Hogan figure for him to face off with. As an Elite figure goes, it's a solid 10 but as a character, The Shark will only appeal to either fans of the old days of WCW or wrestling action figure completest. Either way, Mattel has consistently delivered on not only mainstream superstars but obscure one dimensional gimmicks like The Shark. Hopefully, we can complete the dungeon of doom and recreate one of the most off-the-rails story arcs in professional wrestling history. This figure is available now on Target.com. DPCI# 087-06-0429. Thanks to the folks for providing us this figure so we could review it for you guys.
  19. Dimitri let us know he found the new 3.75" Force Link 2.0 Solo: A Star Wars Story Vandor-1 playset from Hasbro at his local South Carolina store. The set which is primarily made of cardboard and comes with a Chewbacca figure is selling for $44.99 and is being offered as a Target store exclusive. The set was officially announced by Hasbro last week during the San Diego Comic Con and the official release date is technically August 5. Dimitri said he could have check out with it now but decided to pass on it due the feeling that the set was overpriced being it was made of mostly cardboard. DPCI: 087-16-0136 Thanks to Dimitri for the heads up. Let us know below, will you be adding this one to your collection?
