  1. Every day you turn around there seems to be a new Hasbro Star Wars rumor popping up, and honestly it's pretty hard to keep up with them all. Here are a few I have done some digging into, and been able to confirm from a couple different trusted sources they are legit. While I feel pretty confident these are coming, we will treat these as rumors until Hasbro officially confirms them, which will likely be this weekend during Toy Fair. This first one really seems like an odd choice, but it looks like Hasbro is going to be releasing a 6" Black Series Snowspeeder vehicle for $100+. I know it's the 40th Anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back, but if they were going to do another large scale vehicle, I would have thought they would finally give us the X-Wing we were supposed to get several years ago. To me a Snowspeeder seems kind of pointless unless we had a 6" AT-AT to go with it. Who knows maybe that will be Hasbro's next big Haslab announcement???? Other Black Series rumors we are pretty confident about getting a second wave of Empire Strikes Back Vintage Carded figures that will include Luke Skywalker (Hoth), Lando (Bespin), Hoth Rebel Soldier, R2-D2, and TIE Pilot. Also look for carbonized versions of an Imperial Stormtrooper and Boba Fett which should be available at most online retailers that carry Black Series. For you Vintage Collection fans it looks like we will be getting another $150+ Slave-1 coming. This may just be a re-release or modified version of the one we got back in 2013 as a Amazon exclusive. Again, until Hasbro officially confirms these, treat these all as rumor.
  2. t0ytime via wingorlose has discovered a listing in the EBGames system that indicates we will soon be getting a 6" scale Black Series Imperial Probe Droid from Hasbro this year, possibly as early as February 21. This has not been confirmed by Hasbro, so we will treat it as rumor for now. If the February 21 release date is accurate, then we will likely see in-hand images before Toy Fair which starts on February 22. Either way I am sure this will be mentioned there assuming its actually coming.
  3. As if COPPA wasn't enough of a problem, I had a hard time uploading this video. Pictures to come soon!
  4. Hasbro adds another Lando to their 6” Black Series line with this new Skiff Guard Disguise version from Return Of The Jedi. The packaging of course is the same as we’ve seen with the other figures in the line with the black window-box and red boarder. This figure is number 76 in the series and you get the multi-lingual bio on the back. For accessories you get a removable mask and one of those bladed staff weapons often saw Jabba’s men use in Return of the Jedi. The staff features a nice metalic looking finish and the mask seems pretty movie accurate. I will say the face cover seems a little small as you can clearly make out the face even when it’s on the figures head. The headsculpt on this figure is really nice looking even more like Billy Dee Williams than the one on the Empire Strikes Back version which wasn’t to bad in it’s own right. The outfit on the rest of the figure is also pretty movie accurate and the paint applications are solid with some nice wash on the brown portions to make it look like leather. The shoulder pads are made of a rubber material so they don’t limit the movement of the arms and the metalic silver chestplate is sculpted on the figure. You get two grip hands so he can hold the staff on either side. Articulation is the same as we’ve seen with previous figures with single hinged elbows and double hinged knees. No ab-crunch but you do get a waist swivel. While I would have rather seen Hasbro give us Lando in his General outfit from Return of the Jedi, I would say this is a solid figure overall and worth adding to the collection, especially if you are a Lando fan. This figure is available now and can be purchased at BigBadToyStore.com. Let us know what you think about it in the COMMENTS SECTION.
  5. UltimateToyCollector provides us these in-hand images as well as a video overlook for the upcoming 6" Black Series Zuckuss figure from Hasbro. Here in the United States this figure was previously slated to be released as a Toys R' Us exclusive. While there still has been no official word from Hasbro on when or where this figure will be released in the US, we feel the likely hood is that it will be released as an online exclusive. Check out the in-hand images below.
