  1. Greetings everyone, I finally started using my eBay account to sell some of my items. Please take a look and see if you can find anything you may be interested in. Hoping to move some items so that I can scale down my collection and concentrate on other interests. The hottest item being auctioned right now is the 1964 Hasbro GI Joe with a rare State Patrol Trooper uniform - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1964-Hasbro-GI-Joe-Doll-Figure-blonde-hair-cheek-scar-/393887813820?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0. I started the bid at a low price, so this could be good opportunity for collectors. I’ve heard that reproductions of this uniform are selling for $125 and genuine ones can sell as high as $200. Last time I checked, the bid was around $80+. Some of my other popular items include; Dragonball Z Cell Figurine - Banpresto Dramatic Showcase, 1st Season Volume 1 https://www.ebay.com/itm/393880820280?mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 Dragonball Z Figure Lot - Bandai Freeza/Frieza, Majin Buu, Kale, Shenron, Rilldo https://www.ebay.com/itm/393885770872?mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 Kenner & McFarlane Aliens Predator toy lot - Grid, Scorpion, Ultimate, Hive Wars https://www.ebay.com/itm/393880716321?mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 Bandai Rainbow Mothra, NECA WizKids MUTO & 1998 Godzilla Rings Figure/Toy Lot - https://www.ebay.com/itm/393887923025?mkevt=1&mkcid=16&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 In addition to those hot items, I have listings for PeeWee Herman, vintage Spawn and Marvel figures, and other collectible items. Happy hunting and good luck!
  2. McFarland. MacFairlane. McFreemont. McFragglerock. We've all seen Todd McFarlane's name butchered to death by fans, whether they love or hate him (even if a large part won't ever admit that they like some of his products, to look cool on the internet). The latest wave of spelling mistakes came with the announcement of the Munitions Pack, a weapon pack for all McFarlane Toys 7-inch figures, something that fans had been demanding for a long time, especially with the DC Multiverse figures not being able to have firearms, and 'fans' didn't disappoint: "MacFairlane Toys is finally doing something right, but the weapons should have come with the figures in the first place!" (It has been documented for a while that it is a Warner Bros thing, though). "McFarland's weapon pack is cool, but the weapons won't probably fit with other brands... SMH" (as if McFarlane had an obligation to make weapons for other toy lines...). "McFairmont's weapon pack sucks! Mezco did it better." (This is an actual comment I read. "McFairmont". I hope autocorrect was involved...). As a P.S.A. for future releases, please remember: It's Mc-Far-Lane. McFarlane Toys. More news at 11:00... It's an attitude! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the first wave of new Spawn figures, from the Spawn's Universe line of McFarlane Toys! Spawn is Todd McFarlane's creation, and the very reason why he started McFarlane Toys in the first place nearly 3 decades ago (as other brands did not want to do Spawn figures for him). In the late 90's/early 00's, you couldn't go to a comic book store without seeing a ton of Spawn figures. Then, suddenly, it stopped. Sure, we got the Mortal Kombat Spawn figure in recent years, along with the Kickstarter Spawn, a new and improved version of the very first figure, but this is the first actual wave of Spawn figures. Exciting! First off, odd choice, but instead of going with a classic look for Spawn on that first wave, McFarlane Toys went for the Gunslinger Spawn instead, most likely because there is a new comic book about this Spawn coming out as well. The Gunslinger Spawn comes with 2 revolvers, a rifle and a rifle bag. The sculpt is amazing and the colors are great, with really vibrant red and green. You might hurt yourself while handling the figure with all those spikes. Still, a triumphant return for Spawn in toy form. The Redeemer, or Anti-Spawn, the heaven's equivalent to hell's Spawn, is also a nice figure, even if not my favorite from this wave. The details on the sculpt and the wings are stunning, and the Redeemer comes with his sword. The wings do leave a little to be desired, the articulation on them does not allow a lot of movement, and the peg is really thin, and one of the wings of my figure is 'locked' in a pose, and it looks like trying to move them more will break the peg. Raven Spawn also looks amazing in its creepiness. The dark colors and details, along with the axe/scythe and chains accessories will look perfectly gloomy on any shelf! The contrast with the bright green of the eyes is a nice touch. This is another figure that you might need gloves to pose, as the spikes on the gauntlets and legs are not pleasant. The Clown, a classic Spawn villain, looks just as creepy and evil as when we last saw him. This one comes with a gigantic backpack rocket launcher full of weapons, which can be a little heavy and make the figure fall backwards a lot. I don't think I know anybody who will display him with it anyway, it's kind of a weird accessory. He also comes with a knife and a razor blade. The figure itself is small, but because of the giant backpack accessory, its packaging ended up being one of the biggest of that wave... ...apart from Violator. That thing is a BEAST. Seriously, this is not a toy, it is a weapon. It is heavy, has horns and spikes growing all over and looks amazing. One of McFarlane Toys' strong suits has always been big monster figures, and we are very far from the first Violator figure, which was basically a glorified bend-em figure. This Violator looks more like the one in the modern version of the comic book (#beefy). Definitely the highlight of that wave. All that plastic for only about $50 is insane. Which was your favorite Spawn figure that you hope to see in that Spawn's Universe line? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... WANDAAAA !
  4. Todd McFarlane has released a new video as part of the WonderCon at home event going on this weekend. In the video talks about various things including toys, comics and his Spawn movie. Most of the things he talks about in the video are things we've heard him say before, but I just wanted to recap a few things that stood out to me. First he confirms that the next Kickstarter that will launch later this year will be for a new Medieval Spawn figure. Last October Todd had mentioned he was thinking about Medieval Spawn for the Kickstarter treatment, but no its 100% confirmed as happening. More details should be coming soon. He says it will be run even better than the first Kickstarter . He also suggested they might do more than one Kickstarter this year. He also talks about doing more Spawn figures at general retail. Nothing really specific. At one point while he is talking about Spawn figures, they show up an image of a Violator figure being painted which you can see a screen cap for below. We've also seen him previously tease other Spawn figures like Cowboy Spawn and Redeemer Spawn Todd also mentioned his company is going to soon be announcing 7 new licenses for action figures they will be doing. I suppose some of these will include things like the Disney Mirrorverse figures we've previously reported on. He mentions it will be things based on TV shows and movies. He mentions how he is going to be doing more artist proof (unpainted) figures for as many of his lines as possible. The artist proof figures is something they had been doing with their Warhammer figures, and it looks like we could start to see similar figures in other lines like DC Multiverse. In the video he mentions they are working on a new Batmobile and something bigger. It's not clear if this is going to be another Build-A-Batmobile type thing or something that would be in scale with 7" figures. When he was showing hand gestures for size while talking about this in the video, it didn't seem like it would be something in actual 7" scale.
  5. Todd McFarlane posted what looks like it may be some kind of new Spawn with his Throne, but its hard to say for sure. More details as they become available! "HAPPY SPAWN-MAS DAY!! Looks like Spawn got what he always wanted and I hope YOU did too!"

  7. xiaomukuo takes a look at Spawn Wave 2 Action Figures from McFarlane Toys. 8. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Spawn movie is back on track as Brian Tucker has been hired to write the script for the feature project. Todd McFarlane, the creator of the comic and character, is attached as a director with Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions behind the feature. Blum and McFarlane are producing. Carla Hacken is executive producing. McFarlane wrote the initial script which Jamie Foxx became attached to star as the titular character and Jeremy Renner as a detective nicknamed Twitch. However, this was back in 2017 and it's unclear if Foxx and Renner are still on board with the project. Both actors will be re-approached once the new script is written. Spawn is centered on a black-ops agent who is betrayed and murdered and his soul sent to hell for all the innocents he killed. While there, he makes a deal with a demon who allows him to return to the earthly plane and his wife. However, five years have now passed, and his wife has moved on, while he is a disfigured and superpowered spawn of hell. Tucker is credited with writing the 2013 crime thriller Broken City and writing the remake of The Fugitive for Warner Bros.
  9. Kevin Smith is recreating the Masters of the Universe in his image for Netflix and of course an action figure line comes along with it. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am liking what I have seen so far, this Battle Cat is no exception. 10. Here's my custom MOTU Origins Spawn. Spawn was made using a Master's of the WWE Universe Seth Rollins as a base figure. With various Spawn figures including the Mortal Kombat 11 gold series figure for costume add on's. The head is a resin cast of said figure. I hope you enjoy this, and feel free to leave feedback.
  11. TODD MCFARLANE ANNOUNCES FOR 2021, HIS NEW ATTEMPT AT CREATING A SHARED UNIVERSE OF COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS THAT WILL GROW INTO A GLOBAL BRAND BY RECRUITING AN ALL-STAR LINE-UP OF CREATORS AND EXPANDING HIS SPAWN EMPIRE. While there is no word about a dedicated Spawn action figure line in this announcement to go along with this new Spawn comic book Universe, we have been several indications such a thing is in the works. First when an image leaked out earlier in the month for what looked like some kind of Zoom call possibly with retailers showing off new Spawn figures like 7" figures of Cowboy and Redeemer Spawn. Then just the other day Todd himself posted an image for what looked like an early prototype for a Violator figure. And with that image Todd asked folks who wants a new figure of it. Hopefully more details about Spawn figures will be coming soon, but for now check out the full press release put out by McFarlane for his Spawn Universe. Press Release: Today, Image Comics' President Todd McFarlane announced his bold attempt at creating his own multi-character, interconnected comic book universe. His stated goal is to establish a shared fictional universe over time in the vein of what the other comic industry giants, Marvel, and DC Comics, have accomplished with their comic book universes. The announcement was given by McFarlane during a first look presentation at the Direct Market Retailers at the Annual ComicsPRO Conference. The character Spawn, created by McFarlane, will be at the forefront of the initial launch of new titles, but the long-term goal is that Spawn will become but one of many characters that will succeed not only in the comics industry but in many mediums across the globe. McFarlane will capitalize on the twenty-eight-year success story of Spawn, which has seen sales increase between 150 to 600% from pre-pandemic orders. The Spawn title currently is a top 5 monthly selling title on the Diamond Distributors Top 100 Chart. Recently, a new release of a Spawn figure on Kickstarter set a new Kickstarter record, in its category, for raising just under $3. 5 million in 30 days. That figure was also recently awarded the prestigious People's Choice 2021 Toy of The Year (TOTY) by The Toy Association, Inc. As part of his announcement, McFarlane announced four new titles coming out in 2021, with three of them continuing as regular monthly titles, meaning that there will be an opportunity for fans of the Spawn character and his new expanding world to get their stories from it on a weekly basis instead of just twelve times a year. "The simple question is this: DC Comics started a shared universe in the late 1930s. Marvel Comics began theirs in the early 1960s… so, can lightning strike a third time beginning in 2021? I personally do not have the answer to that question right now, but the only way to get an answer to that question is to make the attempt in the first place, "said McFarlane, Image president, and Spawn Creator. "This is a long-intended plan that will need the help of dozens and dozens of creators to help create hundreds and hundreds of characters. And then to reward those creators if any of their ideas pay off in a big way outside of the comic industry. The quest isn't to have our ideas exclusively live in the comic book industry but to have merit and value outside of that industry as well. My character Spawn has been an example of what can happen with creation… so, what are the possibilities if hundreds of creations are brought together? Marvel and DC Comics have shown us that a collective group of characters, together, in a shared universe can resonate globally. I think it is time for David to attempt to join the same arena as the Goliaths of the world." In June, in what McFarlane is calling "2021 the Year of Spawn," comic retailers will be able to order SPAWN'S UNIVERSE #1. This will be a book that will set the stage with a story that will then spill out into the other new monthly titles. The first title will release in August with a book called KING SPAWN #1. The character Spawn will now join the rare company of stalwart characters, like Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man, that will have multiple monthly books for the same title character. It will also mark the first time in twenty-eight years that anyone can buy a monthly issue #1 Spawn book. It gives McFarlane hope of reaching a new generation of readers that missed out on the initial launch of the Spawn back in 1992. In October comes the second new monthly called GUNSLINGER SPAWN. This title character has been a huge hit among the fanbase over the past year, and each of his appearances has garnered enthusiasm at the stores and online. Finally, there will be a new #1 team book, which will band five characters together to fight against forces too big for any of them to take on alone. That book is titled THE SCORCHED. Spawn, Redeemer, Gunslinger, Medieval Spawn, and She-Spawn begins the group's adventures. However, McFarlane promises a rotating cast of heroes over the coming months to keep the roster of heroes fresh. He also said that he would be bringing in new major villains into the fold, too. To lend a creative hand on some of this expanding list of titles, McFarlane has recruited an all-star list of comic book creators such as Art Adams, Jason Shawn Alexander, Carlo Barberi, Brett Booth, J. Scott Campbell, Greg Capullo, Donny Cates, Jim Cheung, Mike del Mundo, Javier Fernandez, David Finch, Jonathan Glapion, Kevin Keane, Aleš Kot, Puppeteer Lee, Sean Lewis, Sean Gordon Murphy, Ben Oliver, Stephen Segovia, Paulo Siqueira, Marc Silvestri, Marcio Takara, and Frank Quitely, as well as others he will be announcing in the coming months. All of this just continued to build on the mythology of Spawn and his world. The original SPAWN book is one of the world's bestselling and longest-running comics, with over 100 million copies sold in more than 120 countries. In 2019, McFarlane made history with the release of the historic SPAWN #300 and record-breaking SPAWN #301. These milestones have earned McFarlane the Guinness World Records title for the world's longest-running creator-owned comic book series. SPAWN #300 became the 2nd highest-selling comic title and was also the only character to place two of its issues in the Top 11 for highest-selling issues for that year. A new movie of SPAWN is currently in development with BlumHouse Studios, Jamie Foxx, and Jeremy Renner, all attached to the project as McFarlane will be making his directorial debut on the film when it goes into production.
  12. Shown below is our first look at the second wave of Walmart exclusive Gold Label figures from McFarlane Toys. This wave will include 7" versions of Spawn (Curse of Apocalypse), Batman Earth-52 (Gold Variant) and Warhammer 40,000 Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant. We should be getting more details on these sometime next week.
  13. sb_toyz dazzles us with a gallery on in-hand images for the new regular release Mandarin Spawn Red figure from McFarlane Toys. You can purchase this figure from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. Check out the images below.
  14. While we have yet to see any images other than some early unpainted prototype ones, Diamond Comics has listed in their latest Previews magazine the regular release version of the new 7" Mandarin Spawn figure. Yesterday we showed you in-hand images for the Gold Label Edition Blue version that is being released as a Walmart exclusive. The regular version which will feature the more traditional red colors is slated for released everywhere. Diamond is listing the regular release version with a March 2021 release date. Hopefully we will be getting images for the regular version released soon. NOTE the image shown here is for reference purposes only and not of the upcoming new figure.
  15. oday Todd McFalrane released a new video showing off his newly announced 12" Mortal Kombat Commando Spawn figure. While nicely detailed the figure does seem to feature minimal articulation. See an image below as well as the video for the figure announcement. No word on price or a release date. Other recent 12" figures released by McFarlane have cost around $40.
  16. This images popped up on Reddit that was described online conference that took palce yesterday with what appears to be Todd McFarlane showing off some new Spawn figures. With Toy Fair having been canceled this year, perhaps this was some kind of virtual presentation McFarlane was having online with retailers. In the image we see Spawn figures of varying sizes including what looks like new 7" figures of Cowboy and Redeemer Spawn . Hopefully more news on this will be coming soon.
  17. Todd McFarlane today announced that McFarlane Toys is doing a new 7" Gold Label Collection Mandarin Spawn figure that will be released as a Walmart exclusive. The Walmart one will be blue. There will also be a regular release version done in red. Todd in the video says the two figures will differ in a number of ways. The spikes on the shoulder will be reversed and there will be different faces and loin cloth. For accessories it will come with a big staff weapon which will be exclusive to the blue Walmart one and dragon sword which I believe will come with both versions. The figure looks to be possibly part of McFarlane's new The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt line I guess because their will be some kind of Spawn skin or such available in the game, similar to what we saw with Mortal Kombat 11. The Walmart exclusvie one will have a special gold foil label on it. The Walmart one will be going up for pre-order on October 1. Todd posted a video which also highlights some of the articulation on the figure that you can check out below.
  18. McFarlane Toys has released official details and images for their The Original SPAWN Action Figure Kickstarter which launches later today. The figure will be 7" and have double the articulation as the original figure released back in the 90's, and will include a folding cape.
