  1. This week's custom is Tobias Beckett (Imperial Mimban Disguise) by Darth Daddy"Dad made me this Tobias Beckett figure as a Christmas present to accompany the Val figure that he gave me. He used the chest of a Black Series Stormtrooper Commander action figure that he modified with a Dremel to include the blast marks, and some spare random Imperial body parts we had in fodder. The head of course is from the Force Link 2.0 Tobias Beckett figure that was modified to accept the hat and the holsters were also from that figure. The goggles were modified goggles from the Hoth Han Solo. The jacket was a modified one from the Vintage Endor Han Solo. The collar on his shirt, rank insignia, and jacket were all hand sculpted with ProCreate." 5. A few weeks ago, Jedi Insider featured the DIY 3 3/4" Imperial AT-Hauler (Solo)by The Write Guy as the custom of the week, he has now added a custom box mock-up "A box mock-up I threw together one day hanging in the coffeehouse. Product number: E0319. Dimensions: 19" x 16" x 5". Trivia bit: these measurements are based on the toy itself separated into its main components -- body, gantry, arms, claw. This plausible box size is between that of Hasbro's Force Awakens Millennium Falcon and Kessel Run Millennium Falcon box sizes. So if Hasbro had actually made such an AT-Hauler, it would probably be categorized as a "Class III Vehicle" under their product designation and retail for at least $99."and a look at Rio's chair. ""Is it a good day?" Where Rio sits, Rio fits."Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.

  9. This design is my own "toyetic" idea of what the Imperial AT-Hauler might have been like had Hasbro made one. It can interact with Hasbro's AT-DT Walker toy by carrying and releasing it just as you see an AT-Hauler do in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY. Its arms are 18" long. You can download the building plans for free to make your own. This kit includes templates and decals in PDF and in their original PNG format. The Photo Guide shows you how the pieces go together (and how to build certain elements, such as the pilot seat and winches from scratch), so you can flip through them as you build.https://www.mediafire.com/file/k3y70hbgcyq5c1k/AT-Hauler_Kit.zip/Later in the coming months, I plan to post lots of photos of this AT-Hauler painted and with the decals applied to it. In the meantime, here are photos of it in its natural cardboard glory. You can keep up with updates and see more photos at the album I've put up for this concept toy:https://imgur.com/a/DKzVj1yThis AT-Hauler is made with corrugated cardboard (Amazon boxes), paperboard (cereal, snack boxes), coffee stirrers, toothpicks and a coffee cup sleeve. The only plastic parts are the cockpit window (from throwaway packaging for a sandwich), cylinders for the winches and some detailing on its back plate (both from bendy drinking straws). You probably have most of these materials already in your home or office. And it's held together with white glue -- the cheap stuff that grade school kids use. No other adhesives were used. Masking tape was used to temporarily hold glued pieces together until the glue dried and removed. Here's a preview of the main body painted and with the decals applied: Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.

  15. 3.75 inch Star Wars The Vintage Collection Solo. I really liked the Solo film, it’s a shame it didn’t do so well at the box office.
  16. This week's custom is Val (Mimban) by Darth DaddyHere's the recipe:"This is another figure that was inspired by a Colin Hobbs custom action figure. He made a killer version of Val in her Mimban Imperial dress. We just copied his recipe so we could have one of our own at home. To make this version of Val, we used the Force Link 2.0 Val head, boots, and back skirt, the lower arms, legs and feet of a Black Series Jyn Erso action figure, the chest of a Black Series Snowtrooper Commander, and the upper arms of a Clone Wars Phase 2 Clone Trooper. The soft goods hooded cape was from a Major Panno action figure that was dyed and modified. Some of the details like the scarf, lower arms, and weaponry attached to her belt were sculpted with ProCreate. We really felt Val was such a cool character that she deserved more than just one action figure representing her."Check out the image(s) of their custom below in our GALLERY!Click here if you would like to submit your own custom figure(s) to be displayed on JediInsider.com, and be sure to check out our Custom Forum section, where you can discuss and show off your work among other customizers.

  18. I got a deal on a Black Series Solo figure last week, and I'm sitting here looking at and picked it up to try for a better pose,. I get a better pose for the gun arm, then I try to bend the left arm,...and, snap? No, surely the peg popped out,..except, there's no peg, just a broken post....I didn't think I moved it that hard.. I guess I can glue it, but, ugh, I don't want to eve look at it right, so I toss it in a box..I sure hope this is the exception, and not the rule...
