If you have been looking to add a Sgt. Slaughter figure to your new G.I. Joe: Classified collection, well Valaverse has the next best thing for you. The ol' Sarge is joining Action Force with a new 1:12 scale Action Force Sgt Slaughter figure. It will feature 36 points of articulation as well as multiple accessories and a display stand. The figure is currently available for pre-order on CrowdOx, and will ship in early 2021 with the rest of Action Force Series One. You have to create an account, pledge on on of the levels that has a $32 figure, then when you continue, you get to choose who you want, Slaughter is at the very bottom. Check out this video of Sgt. Shown below is a look at the 7th wave of Mattel's Masters of the WWE mash-up figures which will be released as Walmart exclusives. This wave will include Masters of the Universe versions of Bret Hart, Andre The Giant, Junk Yard Dog and Sgt Slaughter. Andre will be the first over-sized figure in the line.

Jeff sends us word of this video of a live virtual signing that took place earlier this week at 80's Wrestling Con with WWE legend Sgt Slaughter. In the video at one point (time mark 1:15:30), Slaughter mentions he has a meeting this week in Rhode Island with a new friend named Ben, who he says is real close with Hasbro. Of course Hasbro is located in Rhode Island and the Ben he refers to is probably Ben Montano who is a Global Brand Executive for product, marketing & entertainment at Hasbro. You may recall he moderated the G.I. Joe brand panel during Pulse-Con. So obviously we have know idea why Sgt. Slaughter is meeting with Hasbro or what might actually come of it, but our first thought would be to discuss the possibility of doing a new G.I. Joe figure. The last time we got a Sgt. Slaughter G.I. Joe figure from Hasbro was back in 2010 for the 3.75" 25th Anniversary line. It was released as a SDCC exclusive. IF we got a new Slaughter figure, we would think it would be for the new 6" Classified line. Of course someone already beat Hasbro to the punch on that front since there is already a new Sgt. Slaughter 6" figure coming from Valaverse for the 1:12 scale Action Force line. If Hasbro ends up releasing a new 6" G.I. Joe Classified Sgt. Slaughter figure, it will be interesting to see who does it better?
