  3. I was in a bit of a custom funk, when a package that I had been waiting for a (very) long time from BBTS finally arrived. The Fresh Monkey Fiction "Blank Slate" female Secret Wars style figure from their Amazing Heroes line. Could not wait to get to work, and add some women to the Secret Wars line. I figured I would start with Spider-Woman, as it's not everyone's first choice and it shows off the possibilities of the blank figure. Just paint, which adheres very nicely to the figure. Even difficult colors like yellow apply nicely. If it's makes a difference, I used Vallejo brand paints. Hope you enjoy, and as always feedback is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

  6. A few days ago, in the toy section of a Walmart in West Virginia, an argument between 2 strangers sparked a debate about nostalgia and retro figures: One of the 2 strangers claimed he deserved the figure (a G.I.Joe Classified Retro Destro, in that situation), because he had it as a child, so he had the nostalgia for it and wanted it more, while the second said that since he didn't have it as a kid, he missed out on said nostalgia and should be the one getting it. ToyFarce investigated... Both men arrived at the exact same time in front of the coveted action figure, and both extended their hands at the same time, and grabbed it from each side simultaneously, so the only way to decide who gets it would rely on verbal jousting. Here is the first person's argument: "Aww man, I had that figure when I was a kid! I loved it so much, I used to bring it everywhere with me. Grabbing a new improved version of it in a retro packaging would really make my day, and I would be really happy, with all those nostalgic feelings...". The second man counter-argued: "Dude, you cannot believe how much I wanted that figure when I was a kid, but my parents never got it for me. Now that I'm an adult, I can actually get it for myself, and seeing it right here definitely makes me feel all sorts of things. I need that figure...". Before the argument reached a conclusion, a Walmart employee came and said they had one more in the back, and that he could go and get it for them. Both men would get to go home happy. A third man came and said "Hey, do you have more of those? I just want to flip it on ebay...", and was told to go kick rocks. What are your thoughts on that? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... What if I had it as a kid, but I lost it? Does it count? *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  7. Good day hope you checkout my review of the Marvel Legends Shocker Action Figure. Thanks as always @Outsiders
  8. We start this week with some happy, positive news: Tony S., a collector who has been in a coma for over 20 years, has finally woken up during the weekend! His family was more than happy to share the news with us, as Tony is a huge action figure collector: Marvel superheroes, G.I. Joes, Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he collected them all. Here are the first words he said when he woke up: "Oh boy, I can't wait to pick up that first wave of Marvel Legends that Toy Biz was about to release right before I fell into a coma!" Well, I guess there will be some adjustments to be made: Replace 'Toy Biz' by 'Hasbro', or add 'Retro' in front of any of the line you collected, and you'll be just fine, Tony! More news at 11:00... "Do they still make the Gargoyles figures?" *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
