  1. Alfred Pennyworth is out of a job... HBO Max has decided against a fourth season of Pennyworth after the third season on the streaming service. HBO Max picked up the series after two seasons on Epix. The third season ran its 10-episode from October through the end of November. The series follows Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier, who forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), before he becomes Bruce Wayne’s father. The third season begins after a five-year time jump: The civil war is over, and a cultural revolution has changed the world for better or worse – ushering in a new age of superheroes and supervillains.   5. Legendary caped crusader Batman celebrates his 80th Anniversary this year, and paying tribute to this milestone, Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) will feature two highly anticipated upcoming Bat-related DC dramas — The CW’s Batwoman and EPIX original series Pennyworth — on the official hotel keycards of Comic-Con 2019. In addition to WBTVG producing keys for Batwoman and Pennyworth, HBO will also release an exclusive Watchmen keycard that will be available to fans at SDCC.   8. Paloma Faith has joined the cast in the series regular role of "Bet Sykes," a spirited, sadistic and sharp-tongued villain.   9. Ryan Fletcher and Hainsley Lloyd Bennett have been cast as series regulars in the upcoming EPIX drama series Pennyworth. This casting news comes a day after the announcement of Jack Bannon being cast in the lead role of Alfred Pennyworth and Ben Aldridge being cast in the lead role of Thomas Wayne. Fletcher and Bennett will portray "Dave Boy" and "Bazza," respectively; both are lifelong friends of Alfred's from their army days serving in the same corps. Dave Boy, a haggard Highland Scotsman who is slowly drinking himself to death since leaving the army, is a close ally of Alfred and Bazza and also the most unpredictable of the trio. Bazza, a posh Bajan playboy, is highly proficient at logistics and a valued member of Alfred's team.
