Paramount Pictures has made some changes to its release schedule, which includes Scream 6, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and Babylon. Scream 6 is moving up from March 31st to March 10th, 2023 with Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves moving from March 3rd to March 31st, 2023. Both movies will see a nationwide release. Babylon will open nationwide on December 23rd, 2022 after initially being set for limited release on December 25th and wide release on January 6th, 2023.

Paramount Pictures has made a blind script commitment with Marco Ramirez to write the script and Angel Manuel Soto to direct the project. Details are being kept quiet but the project is being developed apart from the universe of the main line of Transformers films that Paramount has been making since 2007. The studio, along with eOne, is now in active duty on a seventh Transformers project, being directed by Creed II helmer Stephen Caple Jr. The line includes five Michael Bay-directed movies plus the Bumblebee spin-off directed by Travis Knight. Ramirez worked on shows such as FX’s Sons of Anarchy, Netflix’s Daredevil and being co-showrunner and co-creator status of Defenders. Soto directed Charm City Kings and will be directing Blue Beetle for Warner Bros. and DC. Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Deadline is reporting that Kalinda Vazquez will write a original Star Trek movie for Paramount Pictures with JJ Abrams' Bad Robot producing. Vazquez was a co-executive producer on Fear the Walking Dead, has written for Star Trek: Discovery, and has teamed with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin on an HBO series adaptation of the Roger Zelazny sci-fi novel Roadmarks. Vazquez's credits include Marvel’s Runaways, Once Upon a Time, Nikita, Human Target and Prison Break, and she recently adapted Barrier, based on a Brian K. Vaughan graphic novel, for Legendary Television. Vazquez received her name after a character from the second-season episode “By Any Other Name.” In the 1968 episode, the character’s name was Kelinda.

Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures is in final talks with Noah Hawley to write and direct the next Star Trek film. Hawley would produce through his 26 keys production company along with JJ Abrams and his Bad Robot banner. Hawley currently serves as executive producer, writer, director and showrunner on FX’s Emmy-winning limited series Fargo. He currently is in production on the fourth season, which stars Chris Rock, with Hawley directing the first episodes. Both series are produced under Hawley’s 26 Keys. The latest Star Trek movie was released in 2016 from Paramount and was directed by Fast & Furious 6 director Justin Lin. Paramount is also working with Quentin Tarantino and Abrams on a Star Trek spinoff that would likely carry an R rating, with a screenplay by The Revenant scribe Mark L. Smith. Tarantino would direct the spinoff film.

Paramount Pictures have announced they are bringing 'Sonic The Hedgehog' to the big-screen on November 8th, 2019. The movie currently stars cast includes James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Natasha Rothwell, Tika Sumpter, Neal McDonough, Adam Pally and Jim Carrey. No word if the movie will be animated or live-action CGI. The film is being directed by Jeff Fowler and Dmitri Johnson and Dan Evans will co-produce, Neal H. Moritz, Toru Nakahara, Takeshi Ito will produce and Hajime Satomi, Haruki Satomi, Masanao Maeda, Nan Morales, Toby Ascher, Tim Miller will executive produce.

Paramount Pictures have released an extended TV promo and the new IMAX movie poster for the December 21st release of 'Bumblebee.' On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug. Skydance Productions and Paramount Pictures have released the first image of the women who will go to war against the Terminators in the untitled Terminator reboot from Deadpool director Tim Miller. The image features Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos, Mackenzie Davis as Grace and Linda Hamilton as the venerable Sarah Connor. They star along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta. David Ellison and James Cameron are producing the reboot, with Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn, Miller, John Kelly and Edward Cheng set as executive producers. The film is in production now and is set to premiere on November 22nd, 2019.
