  1. Have you ever wondered what your favorite DC Comic characters would look like as Luchadores wrestlers? Well I guess the folks at DC Collectibles have because they have created a new action figure line featuring just that. The first wave will include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Cheetah, Metallo II and Deathstroke. The images below come via THR and they don't specifically list a scale for these, but member of the press last year actually got a sneak-peek at some of these and I want to say they were 7". The figures will start hitting comic and specialty shops in August 2019.
  2. Southernhobby.com has leaked out early images for Hasbro's first wave of 6" Power Rangers: The Lightning Collection, which is their collector oriented line of figures coming later this year. Last year when they announced the line they had shown off the White Ranger. The entire wave which will come in a case of 8 will include: White Ranger - Includes Saba with blue effect piece, Alternate Tommy Oliver head Lord Zedd - Includes staff with fire effect piece and Growth Orb Shadow Ranger - Includes Shadow Saber with blue effect piece Dino Charge Red Ranger - Includes Dino Charge Blaster, Dino Saber with lightning effect We should be getting better looks at these figures on Saturday during the New York Toy Fair. Hasbro coverage will begin around 1:30PMM ET so be sure to check back then.
  3. Some will likely say DC Collectibles is moving in the wrong direction when it comes to scale, but today they announced via THR a new line of highly articulated and detailed 9" figures based on your favorite DC Comic Book characters. The line is being called DC Prime and the figures are being made as a collaboration between artist Riccardo Federicci and sculptor Wonil Song. The figures will be packed with accessories such as multiple hands and head sculpts. The first figure to be released will be Batman. No word on when these will be released or for how much, but I am sure we will get those details by tomorrow during the New York Toy Fair.
  4. Thanks to ToysDaily we now know that Storm Collectibles will be doing a new line of 1:12 scale figures based on the Gears Of War video game series. Shown below are images of their Marcus Fenix and Augustus Cole figure which come via Toys Daily. The Fenix figure looks to include multiple hands, interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, a knife, and multiple guns. The Cole figure looks to include two guns, multiple hands, a knife, and a football helmet. The figures are said to cost $65 each. Stay-Tuned for more details on these and other news from Storm Collectibles coming this weekend during the New York Toy Fair.
