  1. Warner Bros. has unveiled the initial official teaser poster for Beetlejuice 2, potentially titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice if the image is accurate. The poster does not disclose the movie's release date, but it is expected to grace the theaters on September 6. Jenna Ortega is set to play a significant character in the film, alongside the return of Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara. Michael Keaton will once again portray the iconic role of Beetlejuice.
  2. Sources from within are interested in Wednesday's Jenna Ortega to reunite with Tim Burton for his next project, Beetlejuice 2 at Warner Bros. Ortega is in early talks for the project with Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder expected to reprise their roles, and Burton returning to direct. Ortega would play the daughter of Lydia, the character played by Winona Ryder in the Burton-helmed original. Ortega is credited with her Addams Family series Wednesday on Netflix and appearing onscreen in Scream VI. Source: Deadline
  3. Deadline has confirmed that Michael Keaton will be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming superhero movie Batgirl. Keaton will co-star alongside Leslie Grace, J.K. Simmons, and Brendan Fraser in the Warner Bros. and DC feature. No word if Keaton will be just playing the character of Bruce Wayne or just appearing as Batman or playing both roles. Keaton will also be suiting up in The Dark Knight costume for The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, which is scheduled for release in theaters on November 4th, 2022. Plot details about the Batgirl are being kept secret, it centers on Barbara Gordon (Grace)—the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner Jim Gordon. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the film from a script by Christina Hodson.
  4. We have talked before about Michael Keaton would reprise his role as Batman in Andy Muschietti's The Flash movie and the director has released an Instagram with a blood-stained close-up of the black-and-yellow symbol on the 1999 Batsuit. The Flash movie was scripted by Christina Hodson amd stars Ezra Miller, who played Barry Allen/ The Flash in Justice League. Also appearing is Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, Michael Keaton as Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Barry's love interest Iris West, Maribel Verdú and Ron Livingston as Barry's parents Nora and Henry Allen. In undisclosed roles are Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso. The Flash movie is scheduled for a November 4th, 2022 release.
  5. We will put this one in the I will belive it when I see it category, but TheWrap is reporting that Michael Keaton has entered into early discussions with Warner Bros. to reprise his portrayal of Batman in the upcoming Flash movie. This is likely to be tied to some type of DC Multiverse Flashpoint like storyline rumored to be featured in the upcoming film that will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. The movie right now is looking for early 2021 release.
  6. Vanity Fair is reporting that Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming big-screen version of The Flash. The Flash movie is being directed by Andy Muschietti (Stephen King’s It and It Chapter Two) and will feature fast-moving hyper-hero Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller, breaking the bonds of physics to crash into various parallel dimensions, where he’ll encounter slightly different versions of DC’s classic heroes. It’s an adaptation of DC’s 2011 Flashpoint series of comic book crossovers. The project is set for a 2022 release. “His Batman has a dichotomy that is very strong, which is his masculinity—because of the way he looks, and the imposing figure that he has, and his jawline —but he’s also very vulnerable,” Muschietti said in an interview. “He knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance.” “He’s a very substantial part of the emotional impact of the movie. The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck’s Wayne will bring an emotional level that we haven’t seen before,” the director added. "It’s Barry’s movie, it’s Barry’s story, but their characters are more related than we think. They both lost their mothers to murder, and that’s one of the emotional vessels of the movie. That’s where the Affleck Batman kicks in.” “I’m glad to be collaborating with someone who has been on both sides of the camera, too,” Muschietti said. “He understands.” As for the storyline, Michael Keaton’s Batman from the 1989 Tim Burton film is also set to appear in what Muschietti said was a “substantial” part. Affleck's version of The Dark Knight is important to the DC’s movie universe as Affleck’s gray-templed Bruce Wayne is the one Ezra's Flash would consider “the original Batman,” the Batman that The Flkash had already fought alongside. Muschietti said it wouldn’t work as well for him to venture into the company of other Batmen without having Affleck as the starting point. “He’s the baseline. He’s part of that unaltered state before we jump into Barry’s adventure,” the director said. “There's a familiarity there.”
