  1. With all the DC Superheroes I've been making lately, I neglected to make villains for them to punch. So what better one to start with than constant foil to the Man of Steel, Lex Luthor! Lex was made using a WWE MOTU Roman Reigns torso with Kane arms and legs. The gauntlets are from a Toy Biz AOA Apocalypse figure and the boots ( which were a pain in the @$$ to make) were cut from a 3.75" Iron Monger figure with shin guards placed on the Kane boots. Lastly the head, upper armor, and waist sash were taken from a DC Universe Orange Lantern Lex Luthor. Hope you enjoy this and as always please leave feedback. Your comments motivate me to crank out more customs.
  2. Next up for my Masters of the Universe-Origins line of Superheroes, is the Scarlet Speedster, The Flash! I made this using a He-Man origins head and torso, WWE MOTU Roddy Piper arms, WWE MOTU Ricky Steamboat waist and legs, and WWE MOTU Randy Savage boots. The lightning effect was made from a pattern found on a Google search and then cut with my beautiful daughter's assist using her Cricket. The logo was also found on a Google search, I then cut it with an e xacto knife and applied. Finally the ear wings were taken from an old Flash figure, that I had in my parts bin. I hope you enjoy this and leave feedback. More League members are on the way.
  3. So, after I found a vintage Webstor for a decent price at a Toy Show yesterday, I got to work on an Origins custom that I've been wanting to make for a long time. (Just needed the vintage gear) Yes, I know the figure will be released in a few months, but I wanted mine to be a darker color scheme (He is supposed to be a stealth character after all) instead of the brighter colors used for the line. This figure is a repainted Origins Skeletor with a resin head cast of the 4 Horsemen Classics sculpt sold at Plastic Curves MOTU store. I hope you enjoy this, and my other Origins customs to come.
  4. Here's my custom MOTU Origins Lord Gr'asp. I made this with a resin cast of the MOTU Classics head, that I bought at Plastic Curves MOTU, hand is from the vintage Clawful, MOTU Origins Prince Adam body, with a Ricky Steamboat left arm, and finally the fabric cape was bought from the Capemaster Michael Marquez. Hope you enjoy this and leave feedback, if you do. More MOTU Origins customs to come.
  5. I used a select Beast for the base and the origins for the head
  6. The Hollywood Reporter conducted a "deep-dive career-retrospective" interview with The Dark Night and Man of Steel writer David S. Goyer about a script that he penned for Sony Pictures and Mattel Films for a Masters of the Universe project. Unfortunately, the project was declined by the studio but during the interview, Goyer gave THR some interesting details about the script.
  7. After making my Dollar Tree Micro Faker, I wanted to make Skeletor's #1 henchmen, Beastman. The Mega Contrux figures are the same scale, and I discovered that the head and armor would fit perfectly on the micro He-Man body. Just had to dremel the arm armor and add some hair with some apoxie sculpt to the legs. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it.
  8. With the release of the Micro Masters of the Universe figures hitting Dollar Tree stores now, I thought why not combine the He-Man and Skeletor figures and make that robotic menace, Faker. I simply cut the Skeletor's head, hands, and torso off at the waist. Then attached that to the He-man figure, attaching his head, hands, and waist. And finally used a tiny amount of apoxie sculpt to fill in the gaps. The rest was just paint. Hope you enjoy the inexpensive $2 custom.
  9. Motu collection club Grayskull, Motu classics, Motu origins. Filmation collection is a mix of Matty collector and club Grayskull 2.0. Tried to get every character they make that appeared in the 83-85 cartoon. Except granamyr, way too expensive lol. If anyone knows of a figure they make that scales with these that appeared in the filmation he man cartoon that I don’t have please let me know other is the new origins line…
  10. Shown below is a look at the 7th wave of Mattel's Masters of the WWE mash-up figures which will be released as Walmart exclusives. This wave will include Masters of the Universe versions of Bret Hart, Andre The Giant, Junk Yard Dog and Sgt Slaughter. Andre will be the first over-sized figure in the line.
  11. MOTU Origins Lodar. I made this Gladiator from the vintage series mini comic, "Slave City" using mostly MOTWWE Universe parts including the shoulder pads which belonged to the Braun Strowman figure, and a custom head cast of the Lodar MOTU Classics figure from Plastic Curves. Other bits like the spiked arm bands, come from Spawn figures that I had in my parts bin. I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to leave feedback.
  12. Continuing my series of superheroes using the MOTU Origins and Masters of the WWE Universe interchangeable parts, Here's my custom Batman. I based his colors design off of the 84 Super Powers figure. The head is from a 90s Knight Force (I believe) figure that I had in my parts bin and the cape and belt are from the DC Direct Reactivated release of a previous figure. I plan on contiuning with more Justice League members to follow.
  13. With the hassle of trying to find the Target exclusive Rise of Evil set and striking out, I decided to make my own. Keldor is made from a Skeletor figure with a head cast of the MOTUC figure from Plastic Curves. While Kronis is my own design that uses a He-Man body, with Trap Jaw boots, along with John Cena armor and add ons from my scrap bin, with the MOTUC head cast from Plastic Curves. I hope you enjoy them both and feel free to drop a line and let me know what you think.

  18. I created my MOTU Origins Mighty Thor using a WWE Universe base that was heavily reworked using apoxie sculpt and armor from an old 90s Toy Biz figure, boots were made with cut ribbon that was attached and painted, and lastly the head is from the 80th anniversary figure with an added cape from a custom seller.
  19. A theater fight in the making as Warner Bros. new Mortal Kombat movie will be going head-to-head against Sony and Mattel Films’ Masters of the Universe with both being released on March 5th, 2021. The new fantasy-action Mortal Kombat is the third film inspired by the video games and is being directed by first-time filmmaker Simon McQuoid and produced by Aquaman’s James Wan. Two previous films, 1995's Mortal Kombat and 1997’s Mortal Kombat Annihilation, both based on the video games were released. The film just started production in South Australia, with no details on cast or storyline revealed. Source: Deadline

  21. My Origins Hordak was made using a Skeletor Origins base. I then used the vintage figures armor and feet, with the Funko Mumm-Ra cape, and a head cast of the 4H sculpt from the Super 7 Filmation figure.
