  1. Here's my custom MOTU Origins Lord Gr'asp. I made this with a resin cast of the MOTU Classics head, that I bought at Plastic Curves MOTU, hand is from the vintage Clawful, MOTU Origins Prince Adam body, with a Ricky Steamboat left arm, and finally the fabric cape was bought from the Capemaster Michael Marquez. Hope you enjoy this and leave feedback, if you do. More MOTU Origins customs to come.
  2. This week, the Mattel Creations Masters of the Universe Origins Eternia Playset campaign ended after reaching the goal and the first unlockable tier early on, but it came up short of reaching the final goal of 10k backers to unlock Keclar, the leader of the Elders, as well as having King Grayskull available for everyone, as opposed to being a bonus only to the early backers. It came really close, though, with 9,291 backers when time ran out. One person wasn't satisfied with this result, as King Grayskull was reportedly furious backstage that his name didn't bring more backers to the campaign. "Well, let me tell you something, ToyFarce..." said King Grayskull. "I should have been the final unlockable tier, Jack! I am clearly the biggest draw of this playset, and they put me as the early backer bonus, right at the opening. That's not how you book a campaign, brother!" he added. "The bottom line is, when they saw that they were losing steam, they added me in the final tier with Keclar, so they knew that I'm the bigger draw than Keclar. No offense to Keclar, he's doing great, but I'm better. I carried this place, Eternia, on my back for ages! If they had booked the campaign with me as the main event, they would have reached the 10k goal in no time, brother!" "I've heard people say that the Moat monster was the highlight of the set, and fans were happy to unlock it, but if that's really what they think, maybe I'll take my Power (aka "the" Power!), and go check what they do as HasLab or Kickstarter..." Could King Grayskull be threatening to jump ship? More news at 11:00... By the Power of 9,291 backers! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. It has been a long time coming, but finally, this weekend, at the Power-Con, in Columbus, Ohio, you will be able to say "I HAVE THE POWER!" after picking up the Power-Con convention exclusive collectible of... The Power! Have you noticed how every time Prince Adam transforms into He-Man (spoilers!), there are a bunch of lightnings coming from all directions on his Power sword? Well, that's it! That is The Power! And finally, after all these years and hundreds of figures, we are finally getting the missing piece in our Masters Of The Universe collections, an actual figure of The Power! It might look like just a bunch of plastic lightning effects slapped on a MOTU card, but remember that this is what gives He-Man his superhuman strength and makes him the most powerful man in the universe! Make sure to pick up your Power-Con exclusive The Power this weekend, in Columbus, Ohio, as these will probably end up being very sought-after and go for high prices on the secondary market! ...and now, WE HAVE THE POWER! More news at 11:00... *Moral/life lesson at the end of episodes not included.
  4. I made this Filmation inspired Trap Jaw using parts from ROE Kronis, WWE MOTU Steve Austin, and finally a head cast of the MOTU Classics Filmation sculpt. Hope you enjoy this, press like and leave feedback. Thanks for looking. More to come.
  5. Here's my Secret Wars style "Back in Action" He-Man and Skeletor. Okay, this needs a little set up. I was inspired to put this together after seeing Mattel Creations using the Secret Wars molds to bring back some of their 60s and 70s properties in a mail order "Back in Action" line. I thought it would be fun to add their most profitable boy's toy venture to the mix. Both are made using various Secret Wars figures and hydro shrunk casts of the Classics heads.
  6. Here's my take on a MOTU Origins White Ninja, Slamurai. It was made using a cast of the Ninjor classics head from MOTU Plastic Curves shop, MOTU Origins Prince Adam torso, arms, and upper legs, with John Cena WWE MOTU lower legs. The vest is from Jitsu. Thanks for looking. hope you enjoy and leave feedback. More Masters to come.
  7. MOTU Origins Lord Masque, was made using the head, belt, and harness from the MOTU Classics figure, a random Origins base, with WWE MOTU Ricky Steamboat arms, John Cena arm straps for his leg bands, and finally ROE Keldor boots and cape. Hope you enjoy and leave feedback. Thanks for looking.
  8. Netflix has announced the second season of Kevin Smith's animated series, Master Of the Universe: Revelation, from Mattel Television and Powerhouse Animation. The second season is entitled Master Of the Universe: Revolution. Masters of the Universe: Revolution is described as the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia. It is a standalone story that takes place after the events in Revelation. Masters of the Universe: Revolution is an all-new story that brings the focus to He-Man vs. Skeletor “like you’ve never seen them before,” per Netflix. It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet. No official casting has been announced but Mark Hamill, who voiced Skeletor in Revelation, talked about his involvement in Season 2. Chris Wood voices He-Man.
  9. Here's my MOTU Origins Plundor the Spoiler. Ruler of the planet Tyrannus, the Evil Bunny is obsessed with becoming the wealthiest being in the universe. He is a master of chemistry and robotics and has an army of evil robot rabbit minions at his disposal (hmm,,,wonder if they can be too far behind?) Plundor was made using a "Naked Stratos" base body with MOTU WWE Ricky Steamboat lower arms, ROE Keldor boots, and the MOTU Classics Plundor head. Finally the armor is from a Vintage MOTU Tri-Klops.
  10. Mattel has released preview images for it's highly popular Walmart Exclusive WWE Superstars Line. The lineup features WWE Stars re-imagined on Masters of the Universe Origins and Masters of the WWE Universe bodies! Series 2 will feature the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, nWo Kevin Nash and nWo Scott Hall! Check back for more information and updates when available.
  11. "New recipe! Now with 25% more air!". This is what seems to be the trend the toy brands have adopted recently. We cannot pinpoint exactly when it started, since there are always been large boxes full of air, but the Black Series Return of the Jedi Deluxe Boba Fett figure seems to be the one a lot of collectors remember... Toy companies are now using what we'll call the "bag of chips approach": A packaging in which there's a lot more air, and a lot less chips (or action figure, in that case). Figures that would fit in a normal sized packaging are now sold at a premium in a bigger box, with the accessories more spread, with a 'deluxe' sticker slapped on them. Do you get more action figure? Not really... Here is a recent example: See how those 2 Boba Fett figures have the exact same accessories? One fits in a normal Star Wars: The Black Series box, the other one is Deluxe. With the cape folded in the box, King Grayskull would have perfectly fit in a normal box, too. You'd think that, at least, the MOC/MIB collectors would be happy about getting more packaging, right? Well... think again! The MOCC (Mint On Card Confederation) sent a statement to ToyFarce mentioning that bigger boxes means less space on the shelves for display, so no, they are not happy about the change (even if it does give them more box to cherish). "If the companies continue to make the packaging of our toys bigger, we will run out of space faster and won't be able to buy more!" Here's what the future might hold for us, by @chaztheguru We will keep you inform as the boxes keep getting larger! After an excellent idea sent by @darkfigtory on instagram. Give him a follow! More news at 11:00... but BIGGER! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  12. The Masterverse figs have some really excellent sculpt work, but the glossy finish and lack of paint suppresses them. This is just a repainting of some parts completely (face, staff, some of the leathers), picking out some details and pin washes for rivets and musculature etc.
  13. My homage to some of the greatest box art of all time. I never had any of the MOTU stuff growing up, but I would pour over the box art in the toy aisles.
  14. Good Smile Company's Facebook Page has provided us with a look the most powerful nendoroids in the universe! Relive the legendary battles of Castle Grayskull in Nendoroid form! Nendoroid He-Man and Nendoroid Skeletor from Masters of the Universe: Revelation are currently in the works! Keep an eye on the Good Smile Company official site for more info coming soon!
  15. Our Sponsor BigBadToyStore has some of the recent Walmart Exclusive Masters of the WWE Universe figures for Pre-order on there page! They appear to have Stone Cold Steve Austin, Wave 7 and Wave 8!
  16. "By the power of.........Ohio!" Power-Con announced today that they're taking the con on the road to Columbus Ohio on August 5-7th 2022. Stay tuned here for more information as it follows!
