  1. One of the things Hasbro talked about during the Power Rangers portion of their 2020 New York Toy Fair presentation, was the TMNT and Power Rangers crossover comic book series being done between Boom Studio and IDW. During the panel they showed images of what the four Turtles along with April will look like when they get their hands on a Morpher. They also showed the Rangers themselves and what they would look like without a Morpher. While there was no mention of toys based on this series to follow, we could see it maybe happening. While Playmates Toys remains the master toy license holder for TMNT, we have seen Nickelodeon allow other companies do TMNT figures in recent years. NECA has been doing a wide range of Turtle figures base on the old movies, video game and the original animated series. Then there were the recent Batman vs TMNT figures DC Collectibles did. Hasbro is likely considered a more direct competitor to Playmates Toys than those other smaller companies, so negotiating a deal to do a Power Rangers/TMNT crossover line might be a little more tricky to negotiate between all parties concerned, but you never know. Would you like to see someone release TMNT and Power Rangers mash-up figures? Let us know below in the COMMENTS SECTION below.
  2. IDW Publishing is proud to share the first look at SNAKE EYES: DEADGAME #1, the first issue of an explosive new comic book miniseries written and illustrated by Rob Liefeld (X-Force, Deadpool)! Snake Eyes has long been the most mysterious member of the G.I. JOE team, but within the pages of DEADGAME, he’ll finally be forced to play his hand! How long can he keep his past classified… and what deadly secrets will come back to haunt him? “G.I. JOE was my first obsession. Those were the toys in the sandbox with me, kung fu grip, eagle eye, I had them all. G.I. JOE is a world of characters that I have always aspired to participate in,” says Liefeld. “Snake Eyes was a profound influence on my creating Deadpool. Producing this series is an all-time bucket list achievement for me.” “I’ve seen Rob’s excitement about G.I. JOE for years,” says John Barber, IDW Editor-In-Chief. “I’m thrilled and amazed to see it all finally coming together in the biggest SNAKE EYES comic book in decades — maybe ever! There’s a real electric charge in the air every day as new pages come in — every one seemingly topping the last!” The first issue of SNAKE EYES: DEADGAME will arrive in stores in June 2020.
