  1. If you have a secret, the best thing you can do is NOT to tell it to the guy that runs the Hasbro Pulse website. That guy cannot keep a secret! Whether is was the Haslab GI Joe Classified Series HISS Tank, the Star Wars The Black Series Reva Force FX Elite Lightsaber or even the Marvel Legends Galactus, it seems that every time a Haslab is about to be revealed, the Hasbro Pulse website cannot help but spill the beans a bit before that. And that's not all! Yesterday, a few more secrets were 'accidentally' revealed! During the night, an investigator hired by ToyFarce to keep refreshing the Hasbro Pulse website managed to uncover several other secrets that the Hasbro Pulse website could not keep quiet about! Here are several screenshots that were taken during that night. Always be on the lookout! All jokes aside, how does this keep happening? I am one person with a laptop and I manage to get those articles out at the time I want them to be out, so how does a multi-million dollar company not manage that? Was Cobra involved? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on the Hasbro Pulse website! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  2. A week ago, the Hasbro Marvel Legends team (Dwight Stall, Ryan Ting and Jesse Falcon) teased on the Marvel Comics podcast that "there might be, perhaps, but likely, a new Haslab project in 2022, allegedly. Maybe. Fingers crossed. But yeah." (Something like that). ToyFarce investigated long and hard, and tried to gather information about all the potential candidates for a Haslab project, and we came to the conclusion that it could only be one thing: the Thanos-Copter. The Thanos-Copter is clearly one of the most important vehicle of the Marvel Universe. Some say it's the Bluebird, the Quinjet or even the Helicarrier, but they pale in comparison to the almighty Thanos-Copter. First, you have to imagine that Thanos, the Mad Titan, took helicopter training classes in order to be able to pilot it. There was a time when the Almighty Thanos took a break from conquering planets in the afternoons to be at his lessons. The Thanos-Copter has even made appearances in the MCU and the Lego Marvel video games. If that doesn't convince you that it's the most important vehicle, I don't know what will. No official announcement date has been given as of writing. More news at 11:00... EVIL TAKES TO THE SKY! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. Last week, the first Marvel Legends Hasbro Pulse stream of 2022 took place, and it was a treat! Lots of nice reveals: the first wave of 2022 Avengers, a retro Rhino, a science beaker... One part caught everyone's attention: No, we are not talking about the ruthless unboxing of the Herald of Galactus Thor figure, but the public slapping of Galactus' knees. What happened? What went through Dwight's mind? ToyFarce investigated... Towards the end of the stream, Dwight Stall, the Senior Product Design Manager for the Marvel Legends team at Hasbro, decided to give us a quick update on the upcoming Haslab Galactus figure. Dwight showed the figure, which looks glorious, turned its lights on, and then... publicly slapped the heck out of its knees. We reached out to Galactus for more info: "First of all, I'd like to thank all the fans that sent me messages of support and get well wishes. I am okay. There was no harm done. Only my ego is bruised. We had a talk with Dwight and he apologized." Next time, let's hope we'll get a good joke before the knee slapping... More news at 11:00... Galactus loves you all! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  4. Happy Valentine's Day to all toy lovers! This year, Valentine's Day promises to be a little tense, since our Haslab Star Wars The Vintage Collection Razor Crest are also starting to pop up on our doorsteps, which means that any dinner plans or romantic dates might be thrown out the window, in order to eagerly wait for the delivery man. ToyFarce investigated... ToyFarce heard several reports of restaurants 'unexpectedly cancelling their dinner reservations', movies 'surprisingly changing their schedules', and other plans for February 14th being rescheduled at the last second, after a wave of notifications about the HasLab Star Wars Razor Crest arriving today was sent to multiple backers. Sharon, from New Jersey, told ToyFarce: "I had spent the afternoon preparing for a nice romantic candlelit dinner at my favorite restaurant with my husband, when he suddently yelled in the living room "YES! THIS IS THE WAY!". I asked him what happened and, he said that unfortunately, we could not go to the restaurant anymore, that they cancelled, which was upsetting. A moment later, I heard the doorbell, and thought nothing of it. It's only when I went to the living room that I realized what was going on... My husband had a huge Star Wars Razor Crest box on the table, and he was jumping up and down in every direction, due to the excitement. He still got me some flowers, which he gave me while hiding his big Star Wars box behind him... He's been in his collection room for hours, nown playing with it... Anybody interested in a candlelit dinner?" Could it have been avoided? Well... sure. But we kinda wanted those to get to us as soon as possible, so be it Valentine's Day, Easter or even Christmas, we would have done anything to free up our schedule in order to collect our Haslab prize! More news at 11:00... What a lovely day! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously! 5. Over the past few weeks, there's been a disturbance in the Force that we have all felt: The Haslab Rancor campaign tier reveals have been quite a letdown, and many loyal fans ended up cancelling their backing, as a response. Indeed, the Haslab Rancor will come with a repackaged Gamorrean guard, plastic bones, a cardboard back drop, a repackaged Salacious Crumb, and yet another version of Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker. Many collectors took to social media to express their discontent, and tried to make the message clear about what they wanted, like the obvious choice of having Malakili, the Rancor keeper figure come with it, or Jabba's exotic dancer Oola, with the hashtag #NoOolaNoMoolah trending for a bit. Well, we know that Disney decided a few years ago to not ever produce any merchandise again depicting what was then known as "the Slave Leia" (now called the "Hutt-slayer Leia"), because of the outrageous, objectifying outfit that the Alderaan princess was wearing in the Return of the Jedi. We also know that the movie had to be edited to remove Oola's wardrobe malfunction from the original versions of the film. But why would the Rancor Keeper not be included, you ask? ToyFarce asked an anonymous source that worked for Disney and Star Wars for years. "Well, the Rancor Keeper, or Malakili, is also a subject of great controversy at Disney. When you watch the movie, you'll see that he is TOPLESS in every one of his scenes! He is exposing himself all the time! It's a miracle that Disney hasn't edited a t-shirt over him yet! So no, there won't be any Rancor Keeper figure. First 'Slave Leia', then Oola and now Malakili..." More news at 11:00... "He got his titties out!"
  6. Last week, ToyFarce sent a request to Haslab to try to get an exclusive interview (since we're on Toy News International and we can do things like that now). To our biggest surprise, they granted us that interview and were actually pretty excited about it! We were expecting a great sit down interview with members of all the different great teams, to talk everything about Haslab: Marvel Legends Galactus, the G.I. Joe Skystriker, the Ghostbusters Proton pack, and the Star Wars the Black Series Rancor... Well, it turns our there is another company called Haslab, a homeopathy company in India. Here's what we salvaged from the interview... ToyFarce: Hello, Haslab, and thank you so much for accepting this interview with us. We couldn't believe that you'd accept an interview after we've been teasing you for so long, so we really appreciate it! Haslab: You're welcome, we're very excited to have a chat with you and get more awareness on the fantastic world of homeopathy! ToyFarce: Wait, what?... Anyway, so how is the development going on Galactus? Haslab: You must be talking about our Gastrolus drops... those are great if you have stomach issues! It helps with heartburn, flatulence,... ToyFarce: I... am very confused right now. Moving on, how happy are you with the response to the G.I. Joe Skystriker? People are very happy about the long-awaited comeback of the O-ring figures! Haslab: "O-ring"? Do you mean...the b**thole? We have a very wide range of products to ease digestion and relieve you of any pain in the colon! ToyFarce: Okay, I see what's going on... If I say Proton Pack? Haslab: Yes, we have lots of tonics too! ToyFarce: This interview is over. Well that was a waste of time... More news at 11:00... Haslab, live life without side effects!
  7. Last Friday, Hasbro held a short but sweet "Star Wars: Fan First Friday" livestream, where they gave us more information about the current Haslab Star Wars project, the Black Series Rancor. We were shown pictures of the first prototype in all its greyness, and the first unlockable tier was revealed: It will be a retro-carded Gamorrean Guard... (and the crowd went mild for that one!). ToyFarce went above and beyond to try to uncover more unlockable tiers for all collectors who were disappointed by that first one, which is basically a re-packaging of an already released figure (still available on our sponsor BigBadToyStore!). #RepacksAreTheNewRepaints Obviously, we can imagine that one of the next tiers will be the Rancor Keeper. All that we can hope is that he comes with a second head sculpt, a crying one, so that we can recreate that heartbreaking scene when the Keeper cries next to his baby Rancor that just met its demise. So touching... Another great unlockable tier would be 'The Door', that unforgiving weapon that Luke uses to defeat the Rancor (spoilers!). The following reveals have been sent to ToyFarce by a trusted source, so we can say with 97,3% certainty that those will be the ones revealed by Hasbro very soon: What other unlockable tiers would you want to see with your Haslab Star Wars The Black Series Rancor? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... *ROAAAAR!* (actual Rancor quote)

  9. Hasbro has teased on their social media an announcement for what appears to be HeroQuest related coming on Tuesday September 22. One of the tags used in the post along with this image of HeroQuest game symbols is #Haslab. They also recently launched a new HeroQuest website. For those not familiar, HeroQuest was a dungeon-crawling adventure type board game put out by Milton Bradley in the early 1990's. The game featured art and miniatures from Games Workshop. The website Hasbro has launched would indicate a new game is coming that will be published under the Avalon Hill imprint. The timer on the website matches up with Hasbro's announcement. It's unclear how Hasbro's crowdsourcing website Haslab will play a role in all of this, but likely Hasbro is looking to get funding for the game through crowdsourcing means.

  11. Just over a year after it was first announced during the 2018 Toy Fair, the Haslab Jabba's Sail Barge should arrive at their destinations over the coming weeks. Lucasfilm’s senior manager of product development, Chris Dern, takes a look at the work that has gone into the finished product. "Weighing in just shy of 14 pounds, and measuring at 49.35 inches long, 14.64 inches wide, and just over 17 inches from the base to the tips of the sails", the barge is made up of 250 individual parts, pieced together by both machine and by hand. To recreate the 'used universe' look, "the paint deco was painstakingly applied in layers, a mix of molding, airbrushing, and handpainting that makes each individual barge unique. “You can see the brush strokes,” Dern says, " From the cockpit, to the prison cell, galley, and audience chamber, they tried to create a mix of authenticity and added play value. “The designers went into this really thinking of functionality and playability,” Dern says. “Our goal in our role here is, how accurate can we get? Whether it is scouring for an old set of blueprints, utilizing archived models, published materials, and/or entertainment footage, all of which helps guide us in our decision making and ultimately to the final result.” "The ship is delivered with a 3.75-inch scale Jabba the Hutt, with detailed paint deco to match the grandeur of the Khetanna, and a special Vintage Collection Yakface figure. A carded version of the figure will be available for the mass-market release." A lot of work went into the box art, as well, a 120 hour photoshoot which required 14 Hasbro employees, 900 pounds of sand, and one custom, posable Sarlacc. For even more added play value, Hasbro recently revealed a new Desert Skiffvehicle, as well as, a Vintage Collection Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard) figureand Skiff Guard 3 Pack, which should be available later this year. (Source: StarWars.com)
  12. We talked with Steven Evans from Hasbro's Star Wars design team about Haslab, the Jabba's Sail Barge, Vintage Collection and what the ultimate Death Star playset would look like. Let us know in the comment section below, would you be interested in seeing a Death Star playset done for Haslab and what is the maximum you would be willing to spend on such a thing?
