It's October 27th, and Hasbro will hold their Hasbro Pulse 1027 event for all Pulse members today. There has been a lot of teases about "something big" coming for the Ghostbusters line at the event, including a video teaser that has been dissected to death by fans on Youtube (Why are there so many jars of pink slime in their office?! SO MANY JARS!). There is a lot of speculation about a potential Ghostbusters themed Haslab, being either a Slime Blower or an updated Firehouse Headquarters playset, but ToyFarce got a special tip from an anonymous insider about what it may be... Who You Gonna Call? On the heels of a successful Marvel Legends Giant Man Haslab campaign, we might see another Haslab campaign announced today during the Hasbro Pulse 1027. The last Ghostbuster Haslab was for the lifesize Spengler's Proton Pack, and it was a huge success, so it would make sense for the next one to be another 'roleplay item', but we did see the Firehouse HQ playset a few times in that video teaser... The suspence is killing us (and we might come back as ghosts!) An anonymous source sent ToyFarce a tip about it, saying only 3 words: ECTO-1. OF. VENGEANCE. The following pictures are only mock-ups of what the next Haslab campaign might be: Possible tier? More news at 11:00... I ain't afraid of no ghosts! (See, that's a double negative, so technically, Ray Parker Jr. IS afraid of ghosts!) *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

"It's all about getting the most views!" said the toy youtuber, who wished to remain anonymous. We are now in the last few hours of the Hasbro Marvel Legends Haslab Giant-Man campaign, and everyone is on the edge of their seat! The campaign still needs a bit over 2000 backers before the clock hits 11:59 PM EDT, and one Toytuber has decided to wait and see before posting his latest video about it... ToyFarce investigated... "This campaign has divided the entire toy community" (lol ok...) said the Toytuber. "So to be sure that I'm on the correct side, I am going to wait to see if Giant Man get funded. If it does get funded, I can upload a nice positive video where I congratulate the team, and tell that I knew it was going to happen and all that. If it doesn't get funded, I can post a video where I laugh at Hasbro, and say that I knew it wouldn't make it. I have prepared both videos already, so I can post right away and be the first one out there with an honest opinion about it. It's important to have integrity." "I am one of the 7700+ people who backed it, so if it gets funded, I'll be very happy to get one, but if it doesn't, at least, I'll get more views on Youtube!", he continued. "Look, people in the toy community are the first ones to laugh when someone say the word 'influencer', but then, they'll gather around and listen to strangers telling them to like a figure or not, and they just go with it. Some make their entire personality about hating a brand that another person told them not to like... I have to get myself a piece of that!", he added. You can check the status of the Hasbro Marvel Legends Haslab Giant-Man campaign here! More news at 11:00... The more things change, the more they stay the same. Less than 24 hours after the end of the Hasbro Star Wars the Vintage Collection The Ghost Haslab campaign (which ended with 21,768 backers despite the 'iT WiLL nEvEr MaKe iT' crowd, congratulations to the team!), and right before the first few appeared on eBay (there's someone selling only the Zeb for $185, LOL), a collector tried his luck asking for a Haslab Ghost at close to retail, in every facebook groups, for his son. ToyFarce investigated... "I know that there were 47 days to back it, but at first, I decided to join in the bashing of the project, and telling everybody that this project sucked and that it would never be backed." said the Star Wars fan. "After it ended up being backed, I was preoccupied with reminding everyone that the tiers would never be unlocked anyway. When the first tier was unlocked, it was important that I told everyone that the second was never gonna happen. After Kanan, the second tier was unlocked, I admitted I was wrong but said that clearly, the third tier, Zeb, would never be unlocked. On the final day, as everything became unlocked, I kinda ran out of excuses... and as the project reached his end, I realized I actually forgot to back it, because it was a nice spaceship after all, and now, I saw it in the Ahsoka TV show and I kinda regret not backing it. I saw that the shipping date is planned for Fall 2024 and guess what? My son's birthday is right then as well!" ToyFarce really hope his son (whose name he couldn't seem to pretend to know) will get a Haslab Ghost for his birthday in Fall 2024... But that close to retail price? "Never gonna happen." More news at 11:00... at close to retail. *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

Last week, the Hasbro Star Wars team held a Fanstream to reveal figures from the Ahsoka Disney+ live action series (well, "reveal"... more like "talk about figures that had been leaked a few days before"...). During the Fanstream, the team showed that they had a Haslab The Ghost nonchalantly displayed in the background, sitting on top of a IKEA KALLAX shelf unit... which led to IKEA immediately selling over 13,000 units... and counting! "We noticed the traffic on our website went way up after the Hasbro Fanstream ended" said Bjorn Spökhylla, a representant from IKEA. "The Star Wars team mentioned that the big spaceship in the back fits perfectly on a 'normal shelf'. Chris from the Star Wars team kept calling it 'a normal shelf', but everybody knows he meant the one and only IKEA KALLAX shelf unit. So we were clever and put the KALLAX shelf unit on the front page of our website, so that Star Wars fans would immediately find that 'normal shelf' if they wanted it. Within minutes, over 13,000 units were ordered. They are now on backorder at most of our stores, but we are planning to have at least 17,000 units ready, just in case..." Only a bit over 2 days left to grab the Star Wars The Vintage Collection Haslab The Ghost and unlock Kanan and Zeb! Are you getting one? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... Hopefully, the Kallax shelf won't be discontinued, like our beloved Detolf... *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

The Star Wars Haslab curse has been a thing since the very first Haslab project, whether they funded or not: The Jabba's sail barge exploded, the Razor Crest was destroyed, the Rancor got crushed by a door and Reva's lightsaber was broken in half by Darth Vader... With the latest Haslab project, the Star Wars The Vintage Collection The Ghost, about to appear in the upcoming Disney+ Ahsoka series, did Hasbro just seal the fate of our favorite rebel's freighter? "We do not know in advance what happens in the show, so there's no way to tell." said a member of the Hasbro Star Wars team. "Right now, we're just focusing on trying to get the extra figures unlocked, so we need about 6,500 more backers to get Ezra, Kannan and Zeb added to the ship. We will worry about the Haslab curse later, but we are aware of it." "We have seen that there are people placing bets on betting sites that the Ghost will not explode, but there are also bets about in which episode it happens. If the ship explodes in the opening scene of the first episode, it is going to make some people very rich!" he continued. "It is a good thing that the Haslab curse is only applied to Star Wars projects for the moment. I could have never lived with myself if anything happened to the Cookie Monster!" he added. (Although, we've seen tons of Sentinel explode throughout the years...). Chances are the Ghost will be just fine, though, as it did have a cameo at the end of Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of the Skywalker. Phew! (It could be the Ghost II though... they did lose the Phantom once...) You can find all the infos and back the Star Wars The Vintage Collection The Ghost here. More news at 11:00... Prayer circle for the Ghost starts now! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

There are only 10 days left to unlock the few remaining stretch goals for the G.I.Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) Haslab! One stretch goal, that hasn't been revealed yet, had been hiding in plain sight since the very beginning of the campaign! We need to talk about 'Adult-sized man'! The G.I.Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) Haslab has already been funded, and has nearly 15,000 backers (at time of writing). The gorgeous vehicle already comes with one action figure, the pilot, which looks like a young Sam Elliott (you know, the actor that is always cast as 'the cowboy'). The first stretch goal, Adult Tom Holland, has been already unlocked at 13,000 backers, and the second stretch goal, the mum from Modern Family, is a few days away to be unlocked as well, at 16,000 backers. A third figure, the Blue Senturion from Power Rangers Turbo, should be unlocked at 19,000 backers. But wait! There is more... Just like in video games, 'Adult-sized man' could be seen as just a silhouette in the background. If you select it, the game would tell you that the character is still locked. First revealed in Toy Anxiety, it has not been revealed yet how many backers are needed to unlock 'Adult-sized man', but we'll speculate that 21,000 backers would be needed. Help unlock 'Adult-sized man' by backing the G.I.Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) now! More news at 11:00... because making stuff up is the other half of the battle! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

Last year, when a certain previous Haslab project was announced, numerous collectors became toy car experts overnight, and the sales of the Bratz Rock Angelz Cruiser car suddenly went through the roof. This year, after the announcement of the Hasbro Haslab G.I. Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1), there was not really any impact on the sales of the Barbie Helicopter with Spinning Rotors, Pink and Blue 2-Seater Design with Seatbelts and Pilot "Controls". What happened? ToyFarce investigated... ToyFarce sat down with a collector that was preparing his next Youtube video: "The Barbie Helicopter is going to be the next big thing, you can mark my words! Grab them before they're gone! Remember how the Bratz car DESTROYED the sales of the Haslab car last year? The Barbie Helicopter is going to do just that! If you just paint it green, it looks exactly the same, and the Barbie team was able to do that for $22.99!! Ha! Take that, HaSbLoW!". "Since I build my entire fanbase talking trash about the previous Haslab, I still need to mention it in every of my videos. Sometimes, I have to shoe-horn it a little, like "Hey, here is a new Masters of the Universe figure, which costs $25... NOT LIKE THE ENGINE OF VENGEANCE, AMIRITE GUYS?". It's great that there is a new Haslab now, because I can make comparisons: You see, one was a vehicle that came with 4 figures, and it was bad. This new one is a vehicle that comes with 4 figures, but it's good! HA!" Check out the Hasbro Haslab G.I. Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) here! More news at 11:00... And making up stuff is the other half of the battle! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

Over the last few weeks, the G.I.Joe Team has been teasing their next Haslab project via encrypted communiqués, telling that the G.I.Joes are aware of the impending arrival of the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank and that they should deploy a certain 'Operation XXXXXXXXXXXXX' of their own to counter it. The messages had been rather secretive until now, when other types of communiqués started to appear on our feeds... The first suspicious encrypted message came from Roadblock, the heavy machine gunner of the team, whose second function is also as a cook. He shared a recipe for lasagna through that channel, which several assumed that it was coded message and probably meant something else. Haslab G.I. Joe Lasagna Kitchen confirmed?! The second message came from Snake Eyes, which was very chatty, as usual... Some other members of the team also shared memes, via the channel... It wasn't long until someone noticed that and sent a warning message. Do you think those could be clues to confuse Cobra? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... and knowing the recipe is half the battle! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

On Wednesday, the Hasbro Marvel Legends team held their first Fanstream of 2023, and there was a TON of reveals. A Marvel Legends Spider-man comic wave, Avengers 60th anniversary figures, 2-packs, a giant Super Adaptoid, a Spider-man: The Animated Series Doc Ock, and more importantly, an AUNT MAY figure! There was also a video teasing that the next Haslab would be Avengers-themed... and ToyFarce might have found out for you what it is going to be! The teaser started by mentioning "SINCE 1963", before showing the Avengers logo and the Haslab logo. ToyFarce noticed that on the number 6, we can see Ant-man and the Wasp, which are currently in cinemas worldwide with the movie 'Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania', so we figured the 6 was a clue. We went back and checked the covers of issue 6 of the Avengers comic book, and lo and behold, a cover from 2018 ended up being a dead giveaway! On that cover, we can see the 2018 Avengers team, which included Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, She Hulk, Doctor Strange and none other than the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider, all hanging out in a vehicle that one could call an 'Engine of vengeance'. Here is the early render that ToyFarce made: More news at 11:00... So is it the 'Engine of Avengeance', now? *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the much anticipated Haslab Galactus from the Hasbro Marvel Legends line. Hasbro Pulse was not available in Europe back then, but when this gigantic Galactus was announced during the summer last year, I placed my order within the first minutes it popped up on Hasbro's European partner, Zavvi. And finally, Galactus has arrived! I grew up with all the ToyBiz versions of him (the Fantastic Four one with his 'planetary converter' vacuum cleaner accessory, the Silver Surfer one that said "I ... HUNGER!", along with the smaller Silver Surfer one, and of course, the Marvel Legends Build-a-figure), so this was a no-brainer for me, and OH BOY, the Devourer of Worlds did not disappoint! First, the box... the huge, huge box. Somehow, after seeing numerous reviews on Youtube and pictures online, I thought the box would be a tad smaller. Nope. This thing is the size of a new TV box! And the art on it is gorgeous! A drawing of Galactus and his heralds on the front, the sides have Jack Kirby style art, and the back can be used as a diorama. Unboxing it is an experience on its own, with Galactus and the figures on the side... Fun! This is your first glimpse at this gigantic toy! Since Galactus didn't fit AT ALL in my usual space for photography, I took pics on the floor. Galactus comes with a ton of accessories, which were unlocked during the Haslab campaign: 2 different mouth-pieces, a Silver Surfer figure with 2 extra pairs of hands and a stand that can be attached on Galactus' hand, a Frankie Raye (Nova) figure, also with 2 extra pairs of hands and a stand that can be attached to Galactus' hand, a figure of Morg with his battle axe, and a Doctor Doom head for Galactus (whichwas the last unlockable tier). This figure is a marvel of toy engineering (no pun intended). The sculpt looks amazing, the paint apps are great, and the articulations do oh, so many clicks (ratchet joints all around). This is an imposing figure, to say the least, and quite heavy too. The several options for the head are great, even if I imagine that most collectors will display him either with the basic one of the angry mouth, since that's the most iconic way he has been drawn in comic books. The hands with all the fingers articulated separately are done beautifully. I usually hate figures with articulated hands, but this one just works. The heralds figures are a great addition to the set, even if Galactus alone was already good enough. I did not have a Silver Surfer so I'm happy to get one with Galactus, and Nova and Morg are fantastic figures. The cons? Okay, the articulations are a bit rigid and I'm always a bit scared after each click, that either I broke something, or pinched my fingers really hard (it happened twice). His tunic prevents him from sitting down, but I didn't plan to sit him on anything anyway. Finally, the stands that attach to the hands are probably the thing I liked the less, since they are not super stable, and the figures falls down pretty easily. Plus, with the weight, they tend to make Big G fall forward a bit. If you manage to attach them in a way that they won't fall, then it's not an issue. More news at 11:00... To me, my Galactus!

Since nobody seems to be willing to display their newly-arrived Hasbro Marvel Legends Haslab Galactus figure with the Doctor Doom head (which was the last unlockable tier, so clearly, giving a good or bad final unlockable tier doesn't really have any consequences on the backers), many collectors will be left with an extra Galactus Doctor Doom head lying around somewhere. So what to do with your purple hooded Latverian ruler head? ToyFarce is here to help! We gathered a team of experts to find out the several other uses that a Galactus Doctor Doom head could have, and here are the most useful ones! Tired of your doors hitting the wall? Use your good ol' pal Victor's head as a doorstop! Collecting toys and complaining online takes all your time, and you don't spend enough time with your family? Go outside and play catch with your Galactus Doctor Doom head! Your papers keep flying away on your desk anytime there is a draught coming from the window? Use the Galactus Doctor Doom head as a paperweight! Your neck and shoulders hurt from all that collecting? Use the head as a massage ball! Instant relief guaranteed! What other uses would you have for your extra Galactus Doctor Doom head? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... The Hasbro Marvel Legends HasLab Engine of Vengeance still has 21 days to go, but so far, only 2 tiers were revealed: A gorgeous looking Mephisto as Tier 1, along with the Goblin Queen, Madelyne Pryor, which is actually Tier 0 rather than Tier 2 (She's a Tier 'PRYOR' to Tier 1, get it?). But with the number of backers growing steadily in the wrong direction, we thought we would reveal more tiers, in order to boost those sales! TIER 0,5: PANTS! Hold on to your pants for that one! We did not get the early bird special Robbie Reyes figures, but we eventually got Robbie Reyes' head and hood, so we can turn the Ghost Rider figure into Robbie anyway...sort of. What if one of the other tiers was Robbie's missing grey pants? TIER 2: FUZZY STEERING WHEEL COVER! A very important thing for a Ghost Rider is to make his ride his own. What better way than to add Robbie's favorite air-freshener, a cup holder, or even the unlockable from Tier 3: a fuzzy steering wheel cover! TIER 4: TRUMPET CAR HELLHORN! A ToyFarce classic. Every crowdfunded product should always have a trumpet tier. Comes with 3 pre-recorded car horn sounds. 'Nuff said. TIER 5: A TODDLER CAR SEAT! Sometimes, the family gets bigger and you'll need a baby car seat in order to be able to continue to fight crime, but also have your toddler safe and secure in the car. This toddler car seat is also fireproof. TIER 6: REUSABLE SHOPPING BAGS! With Hasbro already making efforts to reduce plastic waste by removing it from their packaging, another great step is adding reusable shopping bags in the trunk of your Engine of Vengeance, to be sure to always have one with you (... and forget it in the trunk of the car every single time). What would you want to see as an unlockable tier for the Haslab Engine of Vengeance? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... "Honk if parts fall off!" *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

On Friday, the Marvel Legends team from Hasbro announced the next Haslab project, the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider and his Engine of Vengeance. You can check out the nice little intro video, complete with "nice" techno music, here. One thing led to another, and all of a sudden, every collectors knows the price of any toy car that ever came out. ToyFarce investigated. We talked with a toy collector from Oklahoma, who has now learned the prices of every toy car ever made: "I can name the price of every toy car ever made. From Hot Wheels to Majorette, from Crash Test Dummies cars to Playmobil, multiple different Batmobiles of different sizes,... I know the price of every single toy car ever made now. That way, when someone is talking about the price of the new Haslab, I can just randomly name a few toy cars that were cheaper than it. That makes my argument more powerful." He became very quiet and ended the interview when we asked if he could also name toy cars that were more expensive... It turns out there are a lot. And they didn't even come with figures, and still sold very well... Check out the new Haslab Engine of Vengeance here! More news at 11:00... Hell on Wheels! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!

Today, the next Haslab project will be revealed (in case you've been living under a rock). It seems to be the toy community's worst kept secret, as the Hasbro Marvel Legends team has teased about it several times already (the Haslab logo with hellfire and brimstone around it, the Ghost Rider 50th anniversary logo all over the place, several tweets about fire and chains...). So clearly, the next Haslab is gonna be Fing Fang Foom, right? Just kidding... According to the rumor mill, all signs seem to point to the next Haslab project being the latest Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes, with his trusted ride, the Hell Charger. But who is the Ghost Rider? Here's a quick summary for you, so you can act like you knew all along when ordering the next Haslab: Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance is the name of multiple superheroes (or anti-heroes) from the Marvel Comics Universe. The most known ones are Johnny Blaze, a stunt man that sold his soul to the devil Mephisto; Danny Ketch, Johnny's half-brother who became the Ghost Rider thanks to a medallion on his bike (huh?), and Robbie Reyes, a car mechanic who was murdered and resurrected as the Ghost Rider by a ghost in his car... (huh??). His powers are superhuman strength, speed, a healing factor, he can control hellfire and his chains, and has a 'Penance stare', which causes to anybody who looks into his eyes to feel the pain they have ever inflicted on others for eternity. Fun! The Ghost Rider has always been a great character, and has had a ton of great comic books,... great action figures,... and questionable movies, with Nicholas Cage as the main character. (The Robbie Reyes version appeared in the now defunct "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." tv series). In the comic book, there has been multiple different rides, such as bikes, a car, a horse, a mammoth, a taco truck... There is also a Cosmic Ghost Rider riding through space. Hopefully, you are now more familiar with the Spirit of Vengeance, and ready to spend money on the next Haslab Project! More news at 11:00... Get ready to taste hell! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
