  1. 40 Years Later, Evil Returns Home. Here's your look at the NEW NECA Halloween 2018 Retro Cloth Michael Myers Figure!
  2. You guys get an exclusive look at my next video. It uploads on Sunday, but watch it here first on TNI. -EDIT: I just made the video public as it was being wonky linking to it while in private. Join me today looking at the New Game Stop and EB Games Exclusive Purge Trooper Black Series Figure. I found this up in Canada at an EB Games in Montreal.
  3. Big thank you goes out to Mattel for sending us out this very generous sample for review! The King of Strong Style is here with Mattel's Ultimate Edition action figure. Everything screams premium. When you first hold the box in hand, it feels much different than the typical elite style packaging. It has a red lining on the inside, a unique box shape, and an interesting bio on the back. This figure line is aimed at the adult hardcore collector. This fits among your other basics and elites from Mattel, only with tons more packed in with a $30 price tag. What separates the Ultimate Edition from the typical Elite figure? You get multiple heads. Each head comes with Shinsuke's signature expressions. You can do a walk out pose, or mid match open mouthed pose, or have one with him getting beating beat up by his opposition! You also get a plastic entrance jacket. You get two options, you can swap the jacket's arms, then swap in the regular arms, and now you have an entrance vest. You can get multiple looks with one figure. You also get three pairs of interchangeable hands. And like previously mentioned, you also get a pair of arms for match type scenarios. The colors seem to really pop out at you. I have several other Nakamura figures, but the colors seem very vibrant. So that is a big plus! You get all the traditional articulation that you typically get with elites, only that you get bonus movement as well! The extra movement you get in the tip of the toes. You can move the tip of the boots for kicks, walking, or cool in ring poses that you can recreate. You get this really awesome articulation in the shoulder area. It's a sort of cool butterfly joint that allows the arms to be bent back of some really fantastic poses. You also get a mid torso articulation point that allows the mid section to swivel from side to side. The traditional articulation points are full head rotation, bends at the arms, elbows, wrists, waist, legs, knees, and ankles. While this is the best Nakamura figure release to date, there are some drawbacks. The chest is molded differently to include that new butterfly joint articulation, but when you have him shirtless, he almost looks like he has a flabby torso and chest. The legs are also a bit on the thick side. Shinsuke always has worn form fitting tights and gear, so hopefully Mattel can correct this in the future. While it is not a perfect figure, this is still hands down some of Mattel's best work. I have been collecting the Mattel WWE line since 2010 til now and these Ultimate Edition figures are some of the most detailed figures that you will ever find. You are certainly getting your monies worth. I would rate this a 8/10. Once again, massive thanks to Mattel for this review sample!
  4. It's morphin' time! Hasbro is bringing the fun with the new 2019 edition of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Lightning Collection action figures! As a massive fan of the hit 90's TV shows and movie franchise these are the action figures you always envisioned but never really got until now! Having seen prototype photos in the months leading up to its eventual release only hyped me up. Photos do not do these justice. You get so much insane amount of detail for a $20 price point. Having owned various ranger toy lines over the years, a lot of details were sorely missing. Even recently with the Bandai the Legacy Collection was cool for what it was, but did not feel like the definitive ranger action figure. The scale is perfect with this upon taking out of its super cool and detailed box. The white ranger helmet feels in proportion to its body. With the past ranger releases from other toy makers, it felt like the helmet heads were either too big or too small. The body type feels right on this holding it in hand! The rangers were always slim. Rangers in their suits never had abs or muscles bulging out. The suit on the white ranger has this small wrinkles on the fabric to give the illusion of Tommy wearing a fabric suit. The color choice of the gold in particular feels a lot more TV show accurate than past white ranger figures in the past. One cool detail, is the white ranger shield. I really enjoy how its made of a soft plastic and can move along in various positions and poses while in action. This does not feel like it will break or snap if you pose the arm the wrong way. Great little detail by Hasbro. I also particularly like how the belt and the holster for Saba is all one piece and how the holster is non removable. It was such a nuisance having to constantly reattach the holster and losing them on occasion when posing the rangers with the Legacy collection in the past. Having owned the Figuarts Power Rangers in the past, these feel more in line with those ranger releases. The only negative drawback was the outrageous price point of the Figuarts. For only $20 with Hasbro's Lightning Collection, it feels like a no brainer to grab these figures! You get tons of accessories which make the entire nostalgic experience that much cooler! The best part is that you get an added interchangeable teen Tommy Oliver head! I was sold on that part alone back when I saw the original prototype photos online. The head sits a little high for my liking on the teen head, and it is a bit small, but its nothing to scoff at considering how much detail and likeness it is to Tommy! You also get his trusted companion Saba. Saba has cool black detailing on the back of its head, which is a super nice touch! Saba also sits snug in his holster and won't pop out. You also have two closed fists, one hand that does a karate chop pose, and an open hand for holding Saba. One drawback is inserting Saba into Tommy's hand. I almost had to bend back his thumb in order to hold the sword. It almost feels like it will snap off if I move it too hard. Another drawback would have to be the long peg in the extra hands. It feels like changing the hands too often will cause one of those long pegs to snap off. I left mine as is, as I was afraid to mess with it too much. The articulation is insane! The get a full rotation in the head, and side to side movement. Double jointed elbows, full rotation of the arms, a sweet butterfly joint allowing the arms to be pulled back for awesome posing! You get full rotation in the wrists, and also a front and back motion in the wrists as well, you get side to side motion in the upper torso, and you get front to back motion in the bottom torso as well! The legs have articulation that allow for very high kicks. You get a very large range of motion in the legs compared to past ranger figures in the past. You get articulation in the boots, and ankles. I am beyond excited for this new line. I will certainly be picking up the rest of the team and the new villains! Fingers crossed we also get similar figures from Power Rangers Zeo, and Turbo down the line! I give this release a rating of 9.5/10
  5. Thank you to Mattel for sending us out this review sample! Spotlight please! The artist, the Mozart of melody is here on Rusev Day in Mattel's WWE Elite series 65. This is the regular, non chase attire release. The face scan features the new TrueFx technology which allows a much closer representation than the tech they used to use before. This scan is quite spot on. It has the receding hairline, wrinkles on his face, and patchy beard alone the jawline. The beard is not perfect and full in real life, and Mattel's has captured that detail quite well. The skin tone has that pale, white color and is very much true to life. This figure release has numerous accessories. As a collector, we love it and appreciate when toy makers include accessories that can add a sense or realism to our figures. This comes with a plastic scarf, with white accents. It also comes with a soft good, cloth plain black robe. A WWE microphone also comes in the box to sing his way to ringside. You get two sets of removable hands. The best hand, I believe, is the artistic pose when singing or announcing! You also get two closed fists. The tights are plain black tights with no design. A small detail is the painted on brown belt with silver belt buckle. It would have been cool if the belt would have been molded instead of a painted design. English is wearing plain black laced boots with silver buckles accents on the side. You get articulation at the head, shoulders, arms, wrists, mid torso section, waist, legs, knees, boots, and ankles. While this figure is awesome, there is one drawback, the scale is off compared to Rusev and Lana. Aiden English is 6'3 in real life. Rusev is 6'0 so their action figure counterparts should reflect that. Aiden English should not be shorter than Rusev. Hopefully Mattel fixes that in future elite releases. Being a huge Rusev Day fan while they were together on Smackdown Live, I would still recommend grabbing this figure if you comes across it, even with the small area of improvement I mentioned earlier. I would rate this a 7/10. Once again, a massive thank you to Mattel for sending us out this review sample! Its very much appreciated!
  6. Big thanks to Mattel for sending us out this review sample! The Shakespeare of song, the songbird of our generation is here to grace us with his presence on RUSEV DAY! This is the Mattel Elite series 65 Aiden English chase figure. A big smile came to my face when I realized that English would be getting an elite figure, and it certainly did not disappoint. His face scan has that pompous look that only the artist can give. The new True FX face scan technology really captures his look. I really appreciate his beard on this figure. His beard isn't that full and comes in patches in real life, and I feel Mattel really delivered on that aspect. His skin is very accurate and has that pale, milky white skin tone. Mattel really steps it up this year when it comes to extras and accessories! You get the plastic plain black scarf, soft goods cloth black robe, hipster style black sunglasses, and a WWE microphone. His body type has a slim, yet defined look. He is not very muscular on TV as say an EC3, but he is very toned and athletic, and it comes across well in action figure form! He is wearing black tights with an abstract shimmering gold, white, and pink accents design on the left pant leg. English is wearing the mid cut black boots with painted on silver buckles on the side. He also is wearing a painted on shimmering gold belt with a silver belt buckle. You get the artistic style removable hand, a gripping hand, and two closed fists. All are great for recreating matches during his run with Rusev on Smackdown Live. As with other elite action figures you get articulation in the head, shoulder, arms, elbows, wrists, waist, mid torso, legs, knees, boots, and ankles. One major detail that I would have changed is the scale. Upon reviewing several images and video footage as reference, Aiden English is taller than both Rusev and Lana. But in figure form, both Lana and Rusev are taller than English. Being a collector, I like to have a full roster in action figure form, and certainly could not pass up the opportunity to own an Aiden English elite to complete my Rusev Day trio! I believe the positive outweighs the negative on this figure release, and appreciate the strong effort on Mattel's part. I would rate this a 7/10 Thank you once again to Mattel for this very generous review sample!
  7. First want to give Mattel a very big thanks for sending us out this review sample! Beware, Sanity is here with the WWE Mattel Elite Collector's edition Alexander Wolfe of Sanity! Sanity has been tearing up its competition in NXT and now the blue brand of Smackdown Live! Wolfe is a first time in the line action figure. First thing I wanted to point out is the extensive deco on this figure release! Pictures really do not do it justice. It's something you need to hold in hand to admire all the colors and patterns on his gear. Its quite astonishing that Mattel can give us all this detail at a price point of about $20. We have come a long way since the Jakks days when they were reusing the same body molds and even went as far as reusing old head sculpts for various superstars. In hand the figure is quite heavy. Wolfe has a very distinct body type in real life, and I feel that Mattel has really delivered on that in figure form. The face scan has that crazy eyed look like he's about to snap on his opposition! His hair has that imperfect slicked back mohawk. He features removable suspenders which are not glued or sculpted on. Very nice touch on a piece that can be left on or off. He also comes with a very detailed rubber coat. The sides have a distressed fabric appearance with red paint, and the Sanity logo on the back. The tights he is sporting have a very cool design with patches, pockets, and a zipper design along the front and back. He has on small maroon knee pads with that distressed fabric design. He is also wearing the tall black boot design with white lacing with maroon accents. As with most elite figures you get articulation at the head, shoulders, arms, elbows, wrists, waist, legs, knees, boots, and ankles. A small detail that goes really far are the extra pair of removable hands. You get a complete pair of open hands, as well as the half open grip hand mold. Each set of hands give you unique poses and playability. Alexander Wolfe is very much in scale with other figures. One area of improvement would be to either have a different material for the jacket, or figure out a way to allow articulation as the thick rubber hinders movement in the joints. I would definitely consider picking this up to complete your Sanity trio or Smackdown Live roster! I would rate this figure release a 7.5 Once again big thank you to Mattel for this great review sample!
  8. Massive thank you to Mattel for this awesome review sample! Hacksaw Jim Duggan, is here with Mattel's Retro-fest Elite Gamestop exclusive action figure. This release is a three in one. Which means, you get three eras of Hacksaw Jim Duggan that you can complete if you have the previous Mattel releases of Jim Duggan. The crown goes with Hacksaw from his late 80's run during his stint as King Hacksaw. The shirt goes well paired with the Mattel Legends Jim Duggan as the mid to late 80's Duggan. The United States flag goes perfectly with the new generation Jim Duggan with the full singlet. You can see these pictures of all three eras of Duggan below for comparison. I truly believe that Mattel is upping their game with every release. I love the effort being made to include various accessories to these Elite line action figures. You will get the crown, soft goods cloth shirt, US flag, and the classic 2X4. The packaging features a unique 80's game cab feel that fills any collector of these classic WWF characters full of nostalgia! The front of the box has the cool game controls with the old school WWF style font that says Retro-fest at the top. The back of the box has all of Hacksaw's stats in video game style font. The face scan has Duggan's goofy look with his tongue out. Goofy isn't necessarily bad in this case, as when I close my eyes and think of Duggan, this is exactly what I imagine. His hair has that scruffy and shaggy brown hair which is done quite impressively. His attire features a blue singlet with red and white with blue stars on the back. He also has red and white knee pad on one side, with a blue knee pad with white stars on the other. Duggan is sporting the tall white laced boots with the United States flag emblem on the side. The scale is accurate as well, and is in line with other Mattel scale action figures. One area of improvement is his torso/mid section. I always recall Jim Duggan of having a barrel type belly, it would've been more accurate to have that be the selection for his torso instead. Another thing Mattel can improve on is the United States flag accessory. It is made out of thin paper, any crease or even taking it out of the packaging can damage it if you are not being careful. I do recall Jakks including cloth flags with various figure releases. Even with these minor flaws, this is still a top notch action figure of a classic character! This figure can be purchased online and in store at any Gamestop. My rating for this particular release would be a 9/10. Once again, thank you to Mattel for sending us out this sample!
  9. I wanted to give a massive thank you to Mattel for sending us this very generous review sample! The 16 time world heavyweight champion, the WWE Hall of Famer is here with one of my personal favorite figures! This particular release is from the Gamestop exclusive line of the popular Retrofest series. This figure release is from Flair's run as the WWF world heavyweight champion, and feud with the Macho Man Randy Savage as Flair had been terrorizing Savage along with the lovely Miss Elizabeth. They went head to head at Wrestlemania 8 with the Macho Man ultimately defeating Flair to recapture the gold. The line features several classic superstars from the 80's and 90's. The box features a very unique design in which the box resembles a classic video game cab. The font is is the same font used in the Golden Era and features the classic blocked logo, minus the "F" in the logo for obvious reasons. On the back of the box features the Nature Boy's highlights and stats in cool video game lettering. Once unboxed, the figure feels very premium and solid in hand. The robe is a soft goods cloth robe which is very fitted. It can be removed if needed. The robe has an intricate pattern on the front and back in silver with "Ric Flair" on the back. The scan is fantastic as it captures that classic smug look that only Ric Flair could give! The hair sculpting was also beautifully done. Flair's golden locks look great, even in action figure form! A small detail that was not skipped by Mattel was Flair's dark colored eye brows. On some other figures in the past made by other toy companies, it seemed like they could never achieve the accurate color of his brows on figure form. Such a small detail, but as a collector and massive Ric Flair fan it was certainly appreciated! The color of his trunks, boots, and knee pads are red and the "RF" logos on the side of his trunks and side of his boots are white. The back of his knee pads are a pink shade, which adds more realism and attention to detail. While the front remains a solid red. While this is an absolute amazing figure, there is one glaring drawback. I would have chosen a different torso mold. Flair was always in great shape, but he never had a body builder physique with abs. A slightly thicker torso mold would have been more appropriate. This figure release is a must have for any old school fan of the 80's and 90's wrestling, or even a new era fan that is discovering Flair matches on the WWE Network for the very first time! I would rate this figure a 9.5/10 All around fantastic figure with extras, detail, unique packaging, and all the bells and whistles that Ric Flair deserves. Once again, a big thank you to Mattel for this review sample!
  10. A big thank you goes out to Mattel for sending us out this review sample! KO is ready to "fight anyone" in Mattel's WWE Elite series 66 Kevin Owens! You get the latest look of Kevin Owens from Smackdown Live. Ever since returning from his injury at the hands of Bobby Lashley, Owens has returned with new vigor and life on the blue brand. Mattel has included all the bells and whistles with this release. The head scan is very dead on from previous scans that have almost looked cartoonish. It seems like the new TrueFX technology implemented has really taken Mattel Elite figures to an all new level. The beard feels nice to the touch and has texture to it. The facial hair has not been painted on like past figures in the elite line have had. It even has the same patchy spots of the beard which is a nice touch. Owens is sporting his trademark fight shorts that has "K" on the left leg and "O" on the right side. The logo is in blue, with a white trim. On his sleeveless shirt, it has the current logo that says "fight anyone" in black, white, and blue. The body type is very much on point, as Owens has that burly bar room fighter type of body. Less muscle definition would have been preferred on his arms. He has his tattoos included on his arm, shoulder, and hands. You get an added bonus of extra removable hands that make play and collecting that much cooler! The extra set of hands also include the tattoo design. You get one pair of closed fists, and one pair of open hands. Mattel was also generous enough to include a "Yep" Yep" Yep" maroon removable soft goods t-shirt. The shirt was a take on Daniel Bryan's "Yes!" t-shirt at the time of their feud. As much as I really enjoy this particular release of Kevin Owens, there is one minor change I would make. That would be to change the color of his hair. Kevin Owens has been with WWE since 2014, and I have never seen him have red hair or a red beard. I do think it takes some time in the design process to effectively nail down certain traits to the superstars, so i'm sure in time we will see a better and updated version! You get articulation at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, elbows, legs, knees, boots, and ankles. I would rate this an 8.5/10 Once again a massive thank you to Mattel for this awesome review sample!
  11. Massive thanks to Mattel for sending us out this review sample! The Enigma, Jeff Hardy is here with WWE Mattel Elite 67 Jeff Hardy action figure! This figure is based off of Jeff Hardy's United States championship run on Smackdown Live! Out of the numerous figure releases he has had, this figure is in contention for best Jeff Hardy figure release. It has that intense and menacing scan! His eyes even feature the white out contact lenses that Hardy has been wearing as of late for his matches on the blue brand! The figure scan looks great for poses where Hardy is getting beat up, or putting the smackdown on his opponents! The colors on this figure are so bright, that i've got to wear shades! His face paint has orange, aqua blue, light blue, and white. Mattel even included the spacer earrings on the head of this figure. This is perfect for recreating that classic scene where Randy Orton stuck a screwdriver into the spacers of Jeff Hardy during their Hell in a Cell match! His pants are solid black, and features a white studded belt that has some nice texture when you touch it. The coolest part I believe, are his multi colored arm sleeves! They have a unique speckled/splattered black, white, and blue design! This really makes the figure pop and stand out among your shelf of action figures. 2019 has been the year of Mattel upping their game by including interchangeable hands! This release has the classic Jeff Hardy entrance gun pose! You can also do the "Brother Nero" delete post as well by swapping in one of the unique hands as featured in the picture gallery. Both sets of hands have Hardy's tattoo roots design peeking through the arm sleeve. You also get a removable United States championship title that fits most of the Mattel scale action figures. Mattel also has a special edition chase figure of Jeff Hardy in the red, white, and blue. You get the customary articulation in the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, mid torso, legs, knees, and boots. As someone who is a lifelong fan of WWE and massive Jeff Hardy fan, I felt the need to have both in my collection. Jeff Hardy is known for his unique face paint, colorful outfits, and charismatic personality that has endeared him to the WWE Universe. I would rate this figure release a 9.5/10 Once again, thank you to Mattel for sending us out this very generous review sample!
  12. To start i'd like to give a big thank you to Mattel for sending us out this review sample! The "Glorious" Robby Roode is here with this Wal-Mart exclusive WWE Mattel Elite Survivor Series action figure. Bobby Roode has been everywhere in the world of professional wrestling. He is a character I never envisioned as having a Mattel release, so its fantastic that we can add such a cool superstar to our collections! This is a figure release which was based off his United States championship run after he defeated the villainous Jinder Mahal in the finals of the tournament on an Smackdown Live! The face scan is done very well but leaves for some areas of improvement. Having only a small amount of figures released thus far, it sometimes takes toy makers awhile to finally nail down a face scan properly. The beard on the figure has a red tint on the sides and isn't as full as it was during that time of his career. The body type on the figure is very much like Roode's. It has a very muscular and toned build. In comparison to other action figures, this action figure is very much in scale and looks great when paired off in matches with other superstar's action figures. The trunks are maroon, with silver accents and the "Roode" logo in yellow on the front with "Glorious" being on the back in yellow as well. Bobby Roode is sporting the tall black laced boot style. Mattel went all out with the extras by including a soft goods Survivor Series removable t-shirt. The shirt fits very snug and has a fitted look. Mattel has come a long way from its early days where shirts were frayed and sometimes baggy. This is the perfect fit! Mattel in recent time has started to move away from including figures with the huge and bulky plastic t-shirts. As a collector, I can say that we appreciate cool extras such as a cloth t-shirt or robe when purchasing an action figure of this price point. You also receive a WWE United States championship title that has the network WWE logo. With other Elite style action figures you get numerous points of articulation. You get to bend the figure at the head, shoulders, arms, wrists, mid torso, waist, legs, knees, ankles, and you get a swivel at the boot. As previously mentioned, I would only improve on a couple of areas such as the fuller beard and changing the red tint on the sides of the beard. Bobby Roode is also known for his signature robes he wears for each of his performances during his elaborate entrances. It would have been a nice touch if we could have received a cloth robe instead of the t-shirt. I had to use another superstar's robe for this photo shoot. But that is only a minor thing I would have wanted as a collector and fan of Roode. While this may not be a perfect release, it is still a fantastic action figure that captures the likeness of the Glorious one! I would rate this figure a 8/10 This figure can be purchased at Wal-Mart as part of the Survivor Series Elite line. Once again I would sincerely like to thank Mattel for sending us out this fantastic review sample! This was an absolute blast to shoot with!
  13. Big thanks to Mattel for sending us out this very generous sample! K-O Mania III is here with Mattel's WWE Elite series 66 Kevin Owen's chase figure. Every year for Wrestlemania season Kevin Owens has had a t-shirt that has one of the original Wrestlemania logos and put his unique spin on it. This figure is from Wrestlemania 34 which was from the return of Daniel Bryan. Bryan and then Smackdown Live general manager Shane Mcmahon took on the nefarious Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a match where if Zayn and Owens lost the match, they would be banished from Smackdown Live. I have owned several Kevin Owens figures in the past and felt I was done collecting them since the gear is similar on most releases. However, Mattel always finds a way to reel the collectors in! This is a fantastic figure release with a vast array of extras. The face scan has that typical Kevin Owens smirk that was captured flawlessly. The beard has a nice texture and grain to it. On TV the beard doesn't look full and looks to come in patches, and Mattel nails even that small detail. His tattoos are accurately depicted on his arm, shoulder, and hand. You get an extra pair of hands, one set of closed fists, and another set of open hands. Both sets of hands come with the tattoos which is a nice touch! Kevin Owens has a bigger frame than most superstars on the blue brand and the choice of body is very much on point. Mattel has nailed that barrel and stalky look of K-O! One one side of his fight shorts it says 'fight" in yellow, and on the other side has his K-O logo in gray. You also get the YEP! YEP! YEP! soft goods removable t-shirt which was Owen's way of mocking Daniel Bryan with his Yes Movement that he was known for at the time. As with other elite figures you get articulation at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, legs, knees, ankles, and swivel at the top of the boots. If I could have an area of improvement, it would be to add articulation to the mid section, as the molded on shirt hinders full on movement. Another area of improvement for a future release would be a less toned arm mold, as he isn't as muscular as he is depicted in this figure. But those minor flaws shouldn't hold you back from purchasing such a cool looking figure! As a collector it's very much appreciated when Mattel does something different and produces chase variants which makes the overall experience that much more enjoyable. I would rate this release a solid 8/10 Once again. a huge thank you to Mattel for this sample! It was a pleasure snapping some review shots!
  14. First I want to give a huge thanks to Mattel for sending me this review sample! This is the WWE Mattel Elite Survivor Series AJ Styles figure that can be found at any Wal-Mart. The phenomenal one is decked out in an all blue attire with black and white accents. There is a lot to appreciate on this particular release! I really like the designs of his gear painted on the side of his tights. The logo is accurately depicted and in scale. The font is correct on both kick pads where it says "phenomenal" and "1" The height and scale is also very spot on and accurate as AJ Styles is only 5'11 in real life. I also really like how Styles' facial hair has texture on the beard and isn't painted on like many previous action figures have had by Mattel. This release has the mid length hair mold on his head. It isn't as long as it is now in 2019, yet isn't as short as it was when he jumped ship from NJPW back in 2016. Mattel also includes a rubber vest with his own logo printed on the back. It appears that Mattel is making these out of a softer plastic that makes it much easier on collectors to remove the accessories. It has two small pieces that can be clipped on the vest. One is a hood piece that looks great for entrances. The other adds a collar. There are a few drawbacks that I would have changed as Styles is a big name in WWE and deserves to have as much detail in his figure releases as possible. I would have a molded on belt, rather than having it painted on. The paint doesn't look as straight as it could be, and adding a molded belt can rectify that issue. The other small complaint is the elbow pad design. In WWE Styles uses an elbow pad that has a small cutout on the inside, where as the Mattel version is all one piece. Mattel has used the elbow pad on a Legends Sgt. Slaughter in the past, so hopefully that can be included in future releases. Another small addition would be to include some extra removable hands. Such a small detail like that can take an average figure and make it "phenomenal" A huge positive on this is the cool tattoo design on Aj's right side of his torso. Which I believe all the dates on there are the dates his children were born. I wouldn't pass on such a cool figure if you have the opportunity to pick one up! I would rate this a 7.5/10
  15. Never trust a snake! Mattel is back with the WWE Mattel Elite Wal-Mart exclusive Flashback Series Jake the Snake Roberts. This set has been the hardest to find for most figure collectors in recent years. Distribution issues appear to have made this figure along with Harley Race, Steve Austin, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, and Jake Roberts some of the most sought after action figures. I can certainly see why there was a ton of hype for this set. When you collect all four figures, you get several build a figure parts to make an elite commissioner Shawn Michaels. With this particular release of Jake, he comes decked out from his 90's gear from the King of the Ring tournament where Austin 3:16 was born! Roberts had to endure a long hard night of battling several other superstars to eventually make it to the finals and faced off with Stone Cold Steve Austin. The gear is exactly how I remember it from back then. The colors pop on this figure and makes it stand out on any display amongst your other figures! With any elite you get additional articulation that basic figures do not receive. You can articulate the head, mid torso, waist, wrist, shoulder, arms, knees, and ankles. The figure comes with a snake skin design vest that is non removable. His tights has the design of his beloved snake at the time, "Revelations" The boots are the taller mold that also have the snake skin imprint on them as well. His face has that classic sinister grin that Mattel captured perfectly. Mattel went even as far to put chest hair peeking through his vest. You also receive the rubber Revelations snake as an added bonus. You will also receive the legs of the build a figure commissioner Shawn Michaels. I rate the figure a 9/10 A minor nitpick would be adding his snake bag to complete the look. But I would not change a thing about the actual details of the figure itself! Grab this figure while you can, before its gone for good!
