One more figure for my Legend of the Warsnail line. This is the Flower Fairy, an ancient being that protects the balance of the forest. He acts as a mentor to the heroes. The original model was done in Softimage. I added all the articulation in Modo and also reworked the armor and proportions there. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me.

Another 3D printed figure for my Legend of the Warsnail series. The original model was done in Softimage. I added all the articulation in Modo and also reworked a lot of the design there. The original figure was more like a princess and less like a warrior. This character is a slug. In the world of the Warsnail the slugs have developed legs. They tend to look down on the snails since they are usually not considered warrior material. But the Warsnail is out there to change that. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me.

This is one of my oldest characters but still one I like the most. The original 3D model was done in Softimage. However all the remodeling to turn it into an action figure was done in Modo. I made some slight design changes along the way. Mostly I uncluttered the armor on the house. Obviously the articulation is limited due to the design. But you still get some nice poses out of the guy. I even went outside for the pictures since he fits so nicely into the environment. All the weapons can be removed from the back and posed in his hands. Scale 3 3/4 inch. Printed on a Form 2 with durable resin. Painted by me.

This line of figures is a slight departure from my recent 3D printed projects. It is less about articulation and more about making unique and (hopefully!) interesting designs. Although the figures have some basic articulation in the neck and shoulders. The two heroes of this line are called Glyptodor and Doedica. They are roughly based on a Glyptodon. The evil Troll character has no real life animal as a basis but follows the hunched armored style of the other figures. I hope to make some more figures for this line in the future.
