"It's the 6th time it has happened... in a row." said Matthew, a toy collector who enjoys making custom action figures, as many other collectors do. Finding the correct parts, painting them, molding, 3D printing, etc... there are lots of fun ways to make a custom action figure of a character you want... only to see an official action figure announced immediately after you're done. ToyFarce investigated... "It's like a curse!" said Matthew. "It never fails! A couple of months ago, I started a custom figure of Angel from the X-Men, in his red and white... I found the parts, the perfect wings, everything. It took me a couple of months to finish it, but I was pretty happy with the result... And then Hasbro announced a way better the same day." "More recently, I finished a 'Patch' version of Wolverine. I bought the Indiana Jones Club Obi Wan figure to use his white suit, painted his shirt white, then switched his hands and head with Wolverine parts, painted an eye patch... It looked pretty nice. I put it on my shelf, and started the Marvel Legends Fanstream, only to see that figure announced in a two-pack with a 'Joe Fixit' Hulk. WHYYYY?" Basically, if you want an action figure of a character made, just start making a custom action figure of it! What figures should we start making a custom of (in order to have it released later)? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... "Next time, I'll wait for their announcements before starting!"

mafex ORIGINAL 1/12 MAFEX BATMAN HUSH headsculpt and paint
DansCustomsCA posted a topic in Custom Figures
I decided to sculpt and create my own original interpretation of a batman cowl to fit the perfect 1/12 scale Batman, the new Mafex Batman Hush figure. There was a ton of inspiration for the style, including many of the statue cowl sculpts by sideshow collectibles, mezco, and the arkham origins cowl. I modeled the original head sculpt in a 3D modeling program, including a a properly sized ball socket that fits on the stock neck peg. No sticky tack required to place this head on! It maintains its original range of motion. You can find more of my work at Danscustomsca on Instagram, or here https://www.instagram.com/danscustomsca. Thanks guys!- 2 replies

The two customs in this picture are the batwoman and the Superman. There are based on their appearances on the CW's arrowverse. The batwoman is on a DC Mcfarlene bat girl body with a vinyl bat logo. The superman was on a CW flash body with a molded S logo and a Peta head from hunger games and a custom cloth cape with a wire in it.
