  1. Summer fun has just begun for Scooby and Shaggy as HBO Max and Cartoon Network announced today the first-ever Scooby-Doo preschool series, Scooby-Doo! And the Mystery Pups. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the CGI-animated adventure comedy series finds the iconic best pals as camp counselors who lead a “paw”-some new crew on mystery-solving adventures at sleepaway camp. The series will join the Cartoonito preschool block in 2024. As counselors in a lakeside sleepaway camp, Scooby and Shaggy don’t know much about canoes and archery, but they do know how to solve a mystery! In a summer filled with nature hikes, rafting trips, and fireside ghost stories, the goofy, good-hearted, and can-do duo will share their love for chasing clues with three young camper pups destined to become their own preschool version of Mystery Incorporated. Featuring mysteries that will be more kooky than spooky, Scooby Doo! And the Mystery Pups teaches preschoolers about curiosity and the joy of discovery. The show will encourage the audience to solve clues alongside the collaborative trio of pups, exemplifying how much can be accomplished with friends by your side. These curiosity and teamwork skillsets align with Cartoonito’s Humancentric Learning Framework—a philosophy that helps children develop their unique potential—by inspiring preschoolers to greet every mystery they encounter with wonder, confidence, and cooperation. Scooby-Doo veteran voices Frank Welker and Matthew Lillard will lead the cast, playing Scooby and Shaggy respectively. Mark Palmer (Hello Ninja, Treehouse Detectives) serves as co-executive producer and showrunner with Erik Knutsen as supervising producer. Sam Register also serves as executive producer.
  2. Power Players, ZAG's action-comedy animation series that is currently airing on Cartoon Network, follows a team of secret toy heroes led by Axel, a kid who discovers the Power Bandz which can transform him into the living, toy-sized action figure, Action Axel. Together with his team of toys brought to life, Axel and the Power Players fight the destructive fun of villainous Madcap and his pack of toys gone bad. Playmates Toys is released 5" figures based on this property which will be hitting shelves any day now. The figures cost $9.99 each. The wave will include figures of the following characters, Axel, Masko, Sarge, Bearbarian, Galileo and Madcap.
  3. "ThunderCats Roar" Premieres on Cartoon Network Starting Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT) The time has finally come to hear the roar! The all-new, animated sci-fi action comedy series, ThunderCats Roar, debuts on Cartoon Network beginning Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m (ET/PT). Staying true to the premise of the original series, the new, redesigned characters will introduce the legacy of Thundercats to a whole new generation. Watch the first two episodes streaming NOW on the Cartoon Network App and from the Cartoon Network website. Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m: "Exodus Part 1 & 2 '" *HALF-HOUR SPECIAL* Fleeing the destruction of their home planet Thundera, Lion-O and the ThunderCats land on the mysterious, dangerous, all-around awesome world of Third Earth! Saturday, Feb 29 at 10:30 a.m.: "The Legend of Boggy Ben" Lion-O has gotten a hold of the last jar of Thundersnaps, the best cookies Thundera had to offer! But a difficult to open cookie jar is gonna send Lion-O and Cheetara chasing down a legend, a Boggy Ben-related legend. "Prank Call" Lion-O wants to prove to the ThunderKittens that he's not just some boring old adult, like Tygra, even if it means ignoring his instincts and messing with an obviously evil crystal. Meet the ThunderCats! LION-O The newly appointed Lord of the ThunderCats, Lion-O, is always ready to act on instinct, even when there's literally nothing to act on. From the gravest of dangers to the most innocuous chore he applies the same blindly heroic exuberance. He might not have all the training he needs yet, but he's sure he's ready for anything. PANTHRO Enthusiastic engineer, Panthro, who constantly has a million science projects going at once, always needs someone to test his new tech in the field. And after (barely passing his driving exam) it seems the eager Lion-O will do the job just fine! Panthro isn't worried about Lion-O, but fingers crossed his creations come back in one piece! CHEETARA Tough but cheerful, Cheetara, laughs in the face of danger and is always looking for the next thrill. She feels a little like Lion-O's older sister and is eager to throw him into the action, even if he gets in over his head. Maybe her idea of fun is a little extreme, but who wouldn't go along with her?! She's like a Thunderian legend of coolness! MUMM-RA For all the good on Third Earth, there is one great evil. Mumm-Ra, a once tyrannical emperor, has been waiting under the surface for millennia. But with the arrival of the Sword of Omens, Mumm-Ra sees a chance to grab at power once more! Using the last bits of evil strength and every trick he can think of, he tries to outsmart the ThunderCats, but without the power of the sword he must always return to his crypt to regenerate. WILYKIT AND WILYKAT BFF's WilyKat and WilyKit are the youngest of the gang and they're enjoying the luxury of childhood as long as they can! That ISN'T to say they don't like a bit of action and excitement though. They love running around on their own and getting into trouble in the unexplored neighborhood. Lion-O tried to lead a good example, but really he just wants to run around with them and have stupid fun! TYGRA Tygra considers himself a kind of father figure to the ThunderCats. He has more experience and knows the ins and outs of their Thunderian culture better than anyone so of course it's his responsibility to teach Lion-O and make him the best leader he can be. But all that pressure gets to him and he's become a little stuck up. Maybe some fine dining will be the relaxing escape he needs.
  4. Watch the all-new series on Cartoon Network starting March 8th. Saving the day is super easy when you're a Super Hero. But stopping evil in its tracks while keeping up grades and managing a social life, all before curfew? Ugh. That's, like, super tough. DC Super Hero Girls are more than crime-fighting besties, they're a diverse group of dedicated super-teens! Working together, they fight the battles of Metropolis and the battles of growing, up all at the same time. Always discovering new ways to control their powers and abilities, these awesome girls are quickly learning (sometimes the hard way) how to deal with the super challenges of being a teenage Super Hero. We all have the power to make a difference. Just make sure to use it for good or you'll find yourself up against those tenacious teens, the DC Super Hero Girls.
  5. Cartoon Network and Mojang have also expanded the Adventure Time Minecraft partnership to include a limited-edition consumer products collection arriving to retail this August: Funko will release POP! Vinyl figures based on Minecraft’s mashup version of beloved Adventure Time characters Finn, Jake, Marceline, and Princess Bubblegum. Additionally, Funko will release three separate t-shirt designs featuring artwork from the mashup exclusively for Journey’s Kidz.
