  2. While I am late to the 6" line (only started collecting this year), I am definitely hooked. While it'd be nice to see some harder to get figures rereleased w/ new/improved paint decos, there are also some gaps I'd like see filled. 1. Princess Leia (Escape from Cloud City) - With Hoth Leia coming soon, and rumors of a Bespin Gown version, this seems like a no-brainer to be on the horizon,, just a head swap, retooled hands and lower legs, and possblly retooled torso (shoulders) 2. 'Clean Stormtrooper/R2-D2 Archive re-rrelease 3. Padme' Amidala (Geonosis Arena - 'battle damaged')/ Anakin Skywalker (AOTC) 4. ESB /ROTJ Chewbacca w disassembled 3PO 5. Luke Skywalker (Bespin) [w Battle Damage/ Alternate Head] 6. Lobot 7. Luke Skywalker (TLJ - Battle Of Krait) 8. Count Dooku/ Mace Windu 9. Bib Fortuna 10. Ewoks As for Repaints/Rereleases , how about... ROTJ E2-D2 (Jabba' s Bartender) Boba Fett (ROTJ Paint Deco)
  3. Hasbro has officially announced their upcoming Star Wars: The Black Series 6" Gaming Greats Jango Fett figure which will be released here in the US as a Gamestop exclusive. The figure is said to be based on the Star Was Bounty Hunter video game though looks pretty much like the Episode 2 version they previously released with an updated headsculpt that utilizes their photo real technology. You get the removable helmet and jetpack as well as two blater pistols. The figure is available for pre-order now and slated with a 9/15 release date. Check out the images below.
  4. Haven't posted in some time here. So here's a selection of pics from 2020.
  5. According to t0ytime, it looks like Hasbro is going to be releasing a Star Wars: The Black Series Gaming Greats Knights of the Old Republic II Darth Nihilus figure as a EBGames and Gamestop exclusive. The figure was discovered in the EBGames system with item#755178. Of course until Hasbro confirms the figure we will treat this as a rumor.
  6. The guys over at Yakface have done some digging and discovered news listings on the Walmart website indicating a 3rd wave of 6" Black Series figures featured on Vintage Kenner Empire Strikes Back cardbacks is in the works from Hasbro. Of course until Hasbro finally gets around to confirming this, we will treat this as rumor. The figures they found listed include the following: - Snowtrooper - Luke Skywalker (Dagobah) - We assume the same one coming in the recently announced 2-Pack with Yoda - Chewbacca - Boba Fett - Darth Vader So unlike wave 2 which saw new figures being released such as the Rebel Snowtrooper and Snowspeeder Outfit Luke (Those figures will see release in the regular Black Series as well), these all appear to be simple re-issues on the Kenner-like cardbacks. These are not listed as Walmart exclusives, so they should end up being released everywhere like the first two waves. Wave 1 and 2 are hitting shelves now. We will update this story as more details become available.
  7. Following the recently discovered Black Series 6" Force Unleashed Stormtrooper Commander, it looks like Hasbro will be releasing another figure from that game with the Shadow Stormtrooper in their Gaming Greats Black Series line. The guys at Yakface have dug up another listing which shows the figure seems to be on the way. This of course has not yet been confirmed by Hasbro. Hasbro has previously done some 3 3/4" versions of this one. Hopefully the 6" one will feature some cool translucent plastic on it with blue highlights. Stay-tuned as more details on this one develop.

  10. Hasbro has announced 4 new Star Wars 6" Black Series figures which includes the Ewok Teebo, Admiral Ackbar from Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian v2 and Darth Vader from Empire Strikes Back. Check out images below.
  11. I told folks back in January that we could expect to see the previous Best Buy exclusive Black Series Heavy Mandalorian figure from Hasbro released online, and now the day has finally come. The figure is currently available for pre-order at places like our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. It is being listed with a June 2020 release date.
  12. Last month we told you how it looked like a third Gamestop/EBGames Gaming Greats exclusive 6" Black Series would be joining the already released Jedi Knight Revan and Heavy Battle Droid figures, and now it looks like it has been confirmed thanks to Gord Phillips. You can see from his image below that the third figure being released is a Stormtrooper Commander from the Force Unleashed video game. The figure will be available at EBGames in Canada on March 1st. It's unclear if it the figure will be available at Gamestop here in the US on that date, but should be out soon here in the US.
  13. No sooner is Toy Fair over and already we have a new batch of rumors to share with you on what we will be seeing for the 6" Black Series line. Now while we are fairly confident in these listings, it should be noted that they have not been confirmed by Hasbro. It should also be noted with some of these it is not known if they are new or simply re-issues. The rumors consist of 3 different waves as well as several "Fan Channel" exclusives which means they will be released primarily online. First Wave -Admiral Ackbar (episode 6) -Darth Vader (episode 5) -Luke Skywalker (snowspeeder) -Stormtrooper (Rogue One) -Some type of Black Clone Variant -2 more unknown figures Second Wave -Cad Bane -Clonetrooper (Clone Wars) -Han Solo (episode 6) Hoth rebel trooper Leia Organa (episode 6) Luke Skywalker (episode 6) 2 other figures Third Wave: -the Armorer -the Mandalorian (Beskar) -Moff Gideon -other figures unknown Fan Channel Exclusives: -Ahsoka Tano -Chopper -Ezra Bridger -Hera Syndulla -Kanan Jarrus -Sabine Wren -Zeb Orrelios

  15. Hi, everyone! New to the community. just started my StarWars 6inch collection and restarted my Starwars action figures collection after the going out of the cinema watching "The rise of the Skywalker" at the end of 2019. Although I am not a big fans of the sequel trilogy, still glade to see the end of the skywalker sega!! StarWar never dies. I stopped collecting 3.75 StarWars right after "the force awaken" because I was kind of disappointed with Disney abandon the original one. I even sold almost all of my clone troopers collection and would never go back to StarWars again. untill the end of 2019, when the last episode of the new sequel released. I kind of turned myself back to Star wars because I still curious to see how the legendary sega would be ended!! digress ! here are some creepy pictures I took, The Black series 91 REy &D-O. but many must have had this figure for a long time but still a nice figure in general to share. Haven’t opened since then. Standard Black Series package. everything comes with the figure. first sight, I like this figure a lot. Nice head sculp of Daisy Ridley, Decent accessories given! Let’s see what she can do. Great articulation in my opinion. worth getting definitely !!! As this is my first Black Series collection, I would say I had a pretty good experience with this, I may go back to get some older figure since I am a kind of a prequel fans. and also if there is any great figures in this I should not miss, please recommend me. Last, May the force be with you !!!!
