We've seen the set on display at multiple conventions, but Mezco will finally be putting up for pre-order their 5 Points 3.75" Batman (1966): Deluxe Box Set With Batmobile tomorrow (10/7). No word yet on price but the set will contain 3.75" figures that have 5 points of articulation from the 66 Batman TV series. The set looks to feature Batman, Robin, Alfred. Catwoman, Joker, Riddler and Penguin. The collect thing about the set is the 3.75" scale Batmobile from the show which will hold 2 figures. The Batcave backdrop iI believe is part of the packaging made of cardboard. Check out the teaser image released today as well as images from last February's Toy Fair of the set below.

If you have been looking for an affordable Batmobile that your 7" DC Multiverse Batman figures from McFarlane Toys can drive around in, then Spin Master might just have what you need. Thanks to a heads up by Adrian, we present you this new Batmobile which technically is listed for 12" figures, but you can see from images Adrian took that it works good with 7" figures as well. The best part is that this Batmobile only costs $22 which is available on Amazon now. UPDATE: The one listed on Amazon is apparently shipping right now from AmazonUK so it does have a hefty shipping cost currently. Being this is made by Spin Master, we imagine it will see an actual US release eventually. If we get any more details on this we will be sure to update you here.

Holly coincidences Batman. Earlier today a video showed up on YouTube showing the 66 Adam West Batmobile on a flatbed truck which was spotted driving near a filming location for the new Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie in Newark, New Jersey. This of course had many websites reporting that the classic car will somehow be appearing in the Todd Phillips directed DC film. What people didn't realize however is that apparently there is also a classic car show taking place in the same area this week with some people on social media saying that is where the truck was heading. The likely hood of the Batmobile used in the original 66 TV being used in this Joker origin story seems unlikely and certainly the truck heading to a car show seems more plausible, but who knows???

The legendary Batmobile Tumbler, as seen in the "Dark Knight" movie series, joins the Legacy of Revoltech lineup with a new, luxurious polystone base in the image of a Gotham City street! The Batmobile Tumbler features an opening and closing boarding hatch, rotating tires and movable wings. The base was designed and built by the legendary diorama expert Kazuya Yoshioka -- this is a rare opportunity to get an example of his work in your collection. You can pre-order this now at BigBadToyStore.com.
