  1. It's Wednesday and you know what that means: ToyFarce reviews! This week, we're having a look at 2 of the NECA figures that were available during the NECA Haul-a-Thon at Target, the black and white version of The Universal Monsters Wolfman, and Griff Tannen from Back to the Future 2. The NECA Haul-a-thon was a 4-weeks event that happened at Target and on Costumes.com, where a bunch of figures were available for a limited time there, before being available online everywhere. First off, the Wolfman, as portrayed by Lon Chaney - I had picked up the black and white Frankenstein monster, so now, I have to pick all the other ones in black and white as well, don't I? Isn't that the rule? Anyway... The figure comes with a beautiful art box (as is tradition with NECA), and has a ton of accessories: 2 extra headscuplts, including a Lon Chaney one, along with human feet and hands to turn your wolfman into a... man, his wolf's head cane and a wolf trap. It also comes with a tiny stand because since the feet are wolf-like, it wouldn't be able to stand. A cool figure, looking forward to have more of them to crowd the movie shelf. Griff Tannen, Biff Tannen's grandson in 2015 was a figure I was really looking forward to, since it's one that has the most crazy outfit from the 'future' (as imagined in the late 80's). Tom Wilson played both Biff and Griff in the movies (spoiler?), so the headsculpt, which was already great on the young Biff Tannen figure, is still pretty spot on. Griff comes with a second headsculpt (without helmet), his extendable baseball bat and his Pitbull hoverboard (or Pitboard). Just like the BTTF2 Marty, the board comes with a little transparent stand so that you can display it as if it were hovering (why haven't we figured out that technology by now?). A fun figure! There's still one Doc Brown from the first movie that was announced and should come out soon, and after that, maybe we'll start to get figures from BTTF3? Crossing fingers... NECA Haul-a-thon review part 2, with Demona and Bronx from the Gargoyles line, next week! More news at 11:00... What's wrong, McFly. Chicken?
  2. Back in February during Toy Fair, NECA announced they were going to be releasing a line of action figures based on the old Back to the Future animated series. The figures they are doing for this line will be in a similar style and scale as their popular Toony Terrors line, which stand around 6" tall. At Toy Fair they showed figures for Marty, Doc Brown who will include his dog Einstein and Biff. They are even doing an in-scale DeLorean time machine for your figures to ride around in. Just this week NECA has said these figures will start to see release in September 2020 and promise more details will be coming soon. Check out our images for this line from Toy Fair below.
  3. Super7 is releasing a Amazon Exclusive Back To The Future 2 Griff Tannen 3 3/4" ReAction figure which includes hover board and special packaging. The cost is $19.99 and due out on November 30. You can pre-order now from our Amazon affiliate link.
  4. NECA had previously teased this Back To The Future 7" Marty McFly (Audition)figure several times over the last couple months but have now released official images for it. Based on the images it looks like the figure will include a new guitar, guitar pic, alternate translucent hand, family photo with only himself left visible and a save the clock tower flyer. Check out the images below.
  5. Shown below via LittleToysBiggerWorld is almost 100 images for NECA's new 7" Back to the Future figures which includes the Back To The Future Marty McFly, Back To The Future 2 Marty McFly, Back To The Future 50's Doc Brown, Back To The Future 50's Biff and Back To The Future Tales From Space Marty McFly. Check out all the images below.
  6. NECA has released pre-production sample in packaging for their upcoming 7" Back to the Future Ultimate Marty figure which you can pre-order from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. The figure comes with accessories like an alternate sunglasses head, camcorder, backpack, skateboard, and guitar.
  7. NECA had been teasing a new Back To The Future figure reveal for Back To The Future Day which was yesterday. The only image they released however was one of Marty from behind playing the guitar. Originally I thought this was simply the first Marty figure they had released, only with the red vest jacket removed. Then today they released a second image of that same figure, this time with it holding a photo of his family as seen in the movie. This is an accessory that wasn't included with the first Marty figure. I am also told the red vest jacket on the original figure isn't made to be removed. So that leads me to believe this is a new Marty figure they will be doing without the jacket and probably some new additional accessories. Perhaps it will have a new headsculpt as well since that is something NECA has yet to reveal with these first two images. I guess time will tell.
  8. NECA posted on their social media some in-hand images for their upcoming Back To The Future II Marty and Back To The Future Biff Ultimate 7" figures which have already started seeing release in Asia. They say the first wave will be hitting shelves here in the US any day now. All these figures are available for pre-order at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. Also here is a video from Toy Mind showing an even better look at the Back To The Future II Marty. We've included some screencaps below as well.

Each standing approximately 6″ tall, Marty includes a hoverboard and guitar with strap, Doc comes with goggles, a remote control and Einstein, and Biff with an alternate head! 10. NECA has released updated images for their Back to the Future Toony Classics which you can pre-order now from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com. The 6"figures which are based on the animated series include Marty, Biff, and Doc Brown with Einstein the dog. The Delorean vehicle for this line which was on display at Toy Fair is currently on hold for the time being.
  11. For you Back to the Future fans, it looks like based on this teaser released by Hasbro today, they will be doing a Transformers/Back to the Future mashup of the DeLorean. Details for this will likely be made this coming Friday during their Transformers Fan-Channel event which is said to show off 6 new items. Coverage for that event will be held over on TFormers.com. Last month we saw indications Hasbro was going to be doing a Transformers/Top Gun mash-up figure and last year they did a Ghostbusters Transforming Ecto-1.
  12. Climb in and travel through time with Marty in the DeLorean and experience fantastic adventures. Based on the 1980s cult film trilogy Back to the Future, this set includes Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown in their 1985 outfits and Einstein the dog, as well as the legendary DeLorean DMC-12, equipped with a plutonium tank, flux capacitor, and dashboard time travel indicator. To switch to flight mode, all four wheels can be folded by 90 degrees. You can pre-order this from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.
  13. Back in February during Toy Fair, NECA surprised us all by revealing new Back To The Future figures to celebrate it's 35th Anniversary. They had 2-ups showing two versions of Marty McFly (Hazmat Suit & 85 outfit) that will be made into 7" Ultimate figures. Now NECA has released behind-the-scenes images showing off the various Marty Headsculpts which were done by Trevor Grove Sculpture. Check out the new images as well as images of the figures that were on display at Toy Fair below.
