"No more single joints!" Those are the words of Adam V., a self-proclaimed "Articulation junkie", who has decided to go the extra mile and get surgery done in order to have the same articulations as his favorite action figures. ToyFarce examined the situation. "My favorite figures always have a ton of articulations, especially import figures (Mafex, SH Figuarts,...)." said Adam. "Bicep swivel, double jointed elbows and knees, thigh swivels, ab crunch, the more articulations, the better. I read somewhere that the human body has about 360 joints. I think I can do better than that. We don't even have a full bicep swivel, for example. So I made an appointment with a surgeon, and asked if it was possible. First I had to do a psychological evaluation, for some reason, but now that it's sorted out, I'm gonna do it!" After that, Adam is already planning his next operation: bicep swivels. More news at 11:00... When in doubt, double jointed elbows! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously! (Please do not ask your surgeon about double jointed elbows.)

This is an older character I updated for 3D printing. What I like about this figure is that it fits into a lot of other 3 3/4 inch action figure lines. Printed on a Form2 printer with durable resin. Hand painted by me. I also gave the figure a new backstory: In the year 2025 the world is overrun by zombies. Mankind's only hope lies with a secret Canadian military program: The Bionic Bjoerns. These cybernetic clone warriors made from Viking DNA are sent all across the globe to rescue scattered non infected humans and eradicate the zombie thread.

The final figure for Series One of the Legend of the Warsnail line. Its the evil Bug Queen. A mighty sorceress who wants to steal the magic of the forest to create her own evil empire. The model is based on the original bug solider 3D models done in Softimage. But I had to do some serious remodeling in Modo to create this new character. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me. Here is the complete Series One of the Legend of the Warsnail line of figures. There is also a website with more information about the world of the Warsnail. www.warsnail.com

One more figure for my Legend of the Warsnail line. This is the Flower Fairy, an ancient being that protects the balance of the forest. He acts as a mentor to the heroes. The original model was done in Softimage. I added all the articulation in Modo and also reworked the armor and proportions there. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me.

Another 3D printed figure for my Legend of the Warsnail series. The original model was done in Softimage. I added all the articulation in Modo and also reworked a lot of the design there. The original figure was more like a princess and less like a warrior. This character is a slug. In the world of the Warsnail the slugs have developed legs. They tend to look down on the snails since they are usually not considered warrior material. But the Warsnail is out there to change that. Printed on a Form2 printer. The model was painted by me.

This is one of my oldest characters but still one I like the most. The original 3D model was done in Softimage. However all the remodeling to turn it into an action figure was done in Modo. I made some slight design changes along the way. Mostly I uncluttered the armor on the house. Obviously the articulation is limited due to the design. But you still get some nice poses out of the guy. I even went outside for the pictures since he fits so nicely into the environment. All the weapons can be removed from the back and posed in his hands. Scale 3 3/4 inch. Printed on a Form 2 with durable resin. Painted by me.

This is another figure printed on the Form 2 printer using durable resin. It is in 3 3/4 scale, although quite bulky. It features a cockpit with a little pilot inside. I made a couple of variations for the the pilot but the one in the middle is the figure I settled with. All figures are fully articulated. Here is the suit along some other 3D printed figures of mine.

This line of figures is a slight departure from my recent 3D printed projects. It is less about articulation and more about making unique and (hopefully!) interesting designs. Although the figures have some basic articulation in the neck and shoulders. The two heroes of this line are called Glyptodor and Doedica. They are roughly based on a Glyptodon. The evil Troll character has no real life animal as a basis but follows the hunched armored style of the other figures. I hope to make some more figures for this line in the future.
