  1. Good day, Hope you check out my review of the Hasbro Marvel Legends Retro X-men Wolverine Action Figure Thanks @Outsiders
  2. The Indiana Jones Adventure Series from Hasbro is one of the most anticipated lines of this year, and this week, ToyFarce got an exclusive reveal for you: One of the most important characters from 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', which is introduced right at the beginning of the movie along with the main character, is finally going to get a 6" scale figure - we're talking about the 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' The Boulder! Patrick, the Marketing Director for Star Wars and Indiana Jones at Hasbro contacted ToyFarce about the exclusive reveal: "Yo dude! I totally forgot to reveal the boulder LOL! It was right there, hidden behind our table, but I was enjoying myself so much with the whip that I completely forgot ROFL! Could you do a quick reveal for it, that's would be freaking great, man! Cheerio!" (actual message sent by Patrick). The 6" scale 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' The Boulder will not include any accessories, and will be a K-Mart Exclusive. It should be released around the same time as the first wave of figures. No details on the price yet, but it should be around $49,99. We're hearing that there are talks to do the 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' The Boulder also in the roleplay items line. What other iconic Indiana Jones item would you like to see in the Adventure Series? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... I hate boulders, Jock! I hate 'em! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. Good day, Hope you check out my review of the Marvel Legends X-men Retro Wave Multiple Man Action Figure Thanks @Outsiders
  4. Good day, Hope you check out my review of the Hasbro Pulse Exclusive Marvel Legends Mystique X-men Animated Series Action Figure Thanks @Outsiders
  5. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the Star Wars: The Black Series Holiday Edition figures from 2022 from Hasbro. Once again, each figure was exclusive to a different store, which made it really easy and fun for collectors outside the US to acquire them...NOT. This review should have been posted around Christmas, right after the Holiday Edition 2020 figures review (which can be found here), but someone (*cough* Walmart *cough*) decided that the last figure would be shipped later in January... Right in time for Christmas...ish! First, the First Order Stormtrooper, which was exclusive to Amazon and was the first one I received (I'll go through them in the order I got them). This First Order Stormtrooper is pretty much more of the same of the 2020 wave, a peppermint-green Stormtrooper, with Christmas-themed decos. He comes with a blaster rifle and a Holiday-themed mouse droid. A fun novelty item (as they all are, really), but kind of a let down since we already got a similar First Order Stormtrooper in the 2020 wave. The second one to arrive was the Hasbro Pulse exclusive Phase II Clone Trooper, with his gingerbread man colored armor. I know I just said that we already had Stormtroopers in the first wave, but this one is actually pretty fun. Gingerbread colors, with a bow tie and and buttons painted on his chest armor, and some parts painted white like if he had cream filling inside. He comes with a blaster and a Christmas Porg, dressed in red and white. The "Abominable Snowman" Wookiee was a Gamestop Exclusive, and is where the fun started, with other characters than Stormtroopers getting the Holiday treatment. This big white Wookiee reminds me of the Rankin/Bass Abominable Snowmonster of the North, all white, with blue highlights (lips, hands and feet) and red harness. The Abominable Wookiee comes with his bowcaster and a white Porg with a scarf. The Protocol Droid was the easiest one to get, as he came through 'Fan channel', I got it from BigBadToyStore. A pretty basic Protocol Droid figure, all in red, white and green, with a holiday scarf. He comes with a holiday-themed BD Droid. They could have added a christmas hat or something, so that it didn't look like a straight repaint, but oh well... The Mandalorian Warrior, a Target exclusive, might be my favorite from this wave. He has ugly christmas sweater designs on his chest armor, and just looks really cool, with the bright colors. Red and green really suit a Mandalorian well, apparently (I am convinced any color combinations would look good on a Mandalorian armor, at this point). He comes with a winter colored Bogling and his Amban phase-pulse rifle. And finally, the one that took ages to arrive thanks to Walmart pushing the delivery to mid-January, the Walmart Exclusive Scout Trooper! Another fun one, with his red armor, and Grogu ugly christmas sweater design on his chest. He comes with a mini gun, and a Christmas bag that hides a Grogu (I would enjoy it more if it didn't remind me of the Scout trooper punching Grogu through the bag in that Mandalorian episode...). This completes this second wave of 6 Star Wars: The Black Series Holiday Edition figures... ... BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Since Halloween was 3 months ago, and those figures shipped last month, I figured I would add them to this review. The 2 Halloween edition figures were also exclusives to different stores, but ended up being available in more places after a while. The Halloween Edition Clone Trooper was exclusive to Target, and is a really fun figure. The idea of having the armor all in black with a skeleton painted in neon green on it was brilliant and the results looks pretty great on a shelf. He came with plastic-free packaging, and even had Halloween themed, orange paper hiding the figure. He comes with a chest that hides beskar painted to look like chocolate bars, and a vampire Porg, painted like Dracula. More of this, please! The Halloween Edition Wookiee was a Walmart exclusive (but ended up as 'Fan channel' soon after. Maybe they realized Halloween had passed already and tried to make them more easily available afterwards). This Wookiee has pointy ears (like a cat!) and the Black Krrsantan/Road Warriors chest armor with spiky shoulders (WHAT A RUSH!). He comes with a werewolf Bogling (wereBogling?) and a Halloween-themed orange cantomo (Ingenuous!) with beskar chocolate bars inside. That's it for the Holiday-themed figures of 2022! Which one was your favorite? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... Happy Halloween/Merry Christmas in January!

  8. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the much anticipated Haslab Galactus from the Hasbro Marvel Legends line. Hasbro Pulse was not available in Europe back then, but when this gigantic Galactus was announced during the summer last year, I placed my order within the first minutes it popped up on Hasbro's European partner, Zavvi. And finally, Galactus has arrived! I grew up with all the ToyBiz versions of him (the Fantastic Four one with his 'planetary converter' vacuum cleaner accessory, the Silver Surfer one that said "I ... HUNGER!", along with the smaller Silver Surfer one, and of course, the Marvel Legends Build-a-figure), so this was a no-brainer for me, and OH BOY, the Devourer of Worlds did not disappoint! First, the box... the huge, huge box. Somehow, after seeing numerous reviews on Youtube and pictures online, I thought the box would be a tad smaller. Nope. This thing is the size of a new TV box! And the art on it is gorgeous! A drawing of Galactus and his heralds on the front, the sides have Jack Kirby style art, and the back can be used as a diorama. Unboxing it is an experience on its own, with Galactus and the figures on the side... Fun! This is your first glimpse at this gigantic toy! Since Galactus didn't fit AT ALL in my usual space for photography, I took pics on the floor. Galactus comes with a ton of accessories, which were unlocked during the Haslab campaign: 2 different mouth-pieces, a Silver Surfer figure with 2 extra pairs of hands and a stand that can be attached on Galactus' hand, a Frankie Raye (Nova) figure, also with 2 extra pairs of hands and a stand that can be attached to Galactus' hand, a figure of Morg with his battle axe, and a Doctor Doom head for Galactus (whichwas the last unlockable tier). This figure is a marvel of toy engineering (no pun intended). The sculpt looks amazing, the paint apps are great, and the articulations do oh, so many clicks (ratchet joints all around). This is an imposing figure, to say the least, and quite heavy too. The several options for the head are great, even if I imagine that most collectors will display him either with the basic one of the angry mouth, since that's the most iconic way he has been drawn in comic books. The hands with all the fingers articulated separately are done beautifully. I usually hate figures with articulated hands, but this one just works. The heralds figures are a great addition to the set, even if Galactus alone was already good enough. I did not have a Silver Surfer so I'm happy to get one with Galactus, and Nova and Morg are fantastic figures. The cons? Okay, the articulations are a bit rigid and I'm always a bit scared after each click, that either I broke something, or pinched my fingers really hard (it happened twice). His tunic prevents him from sitting down, but I didn't plan to sit him on anything anyway. Finally, the stands that attach to the hands are probably the thing I liked the less, since they are not super stable, and the figures falls down pretty easily. Plus, with the weight, they tend to make Big G fall forward a bit. If you manage to attach them in a way that they won't fall, then it's not an issue. More news at 11:00... To me, my Galactus!
  9. The folks over at Yakface are reporting that in light of the news earlier this week about LucasFilm and The Mandalorian actress Gina Carano going their seperate ways, Hasbro is canceling most of their upcoming planned Cara Dune figures. According to the report, the planned reissues of the 6″ Black Series and Vintage Collection figures have been cancelled. The previously announced 3 3/4" Retro figure which was probably to far along in the production process to cancel is apparently still coming. It should come as no surprise to folks, but in light of all this recent news this week, secondary market prices on eBay for any Cara Dune figure has gone up exponentially. Whether any of these figures maintain any kind of long-term value after all the dust settles remains to be seen. MOD NOTE: This thread is about the canceling of action figures, not about why or should the actress have been fired. As long as people stay on topic and be civil to one another the thread will remain open for discussion. Like the previous thread related to the topic, at any point this goes off the rails the thread will be closed.
