The CW has released a set of promotional posters for their 2021 superhero series with the likes of Black Lightning, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Stargirl, Supergirl and Superman & Lois - all feature the shows’ iconic stars showing the importance of wearing masks while out in public to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. Each poster is tagged with 'Real Heroes Wear Masks.' There is no Batwoman poster as Javicia Leslie has just been announced for taking over the role from Ruby Rose and hasn't done a photo shoot in costume yet.

  14. The CW Network today announced it has renewed the hit new series DC'S STARGIRL for a second season. The CW will become the exclusive in-season home to the breakout superhero hit next season, airing on The CW Television Network and streaming the next day on The CW's free, ad-supported streaming platforms. Justice League Cyborg star Ray Fisher has revealed in a tweet this morning that Joss Whedon's treatment of the cast and crew on the set was gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Joss Whedon was the director to finish filming Justice League when director Zack Snyder had to back away from production due to a family tragedy. Fisher didn't supply any specific details for the treatment from Whedon on the set. Sources have reached out to Whedon's rep., but have not heard anything regarding this matter. Source: Deadline

  23. In the season premiere, Niles, Jane, Cliff, Rita, Vic and Dorothy are still trapped in miniature-size, weeks after the events of last season. Camped out in Cliff’s miniature race-track set up, Dorothy tries to befriend both Cliff and Jane, while Larry does his best to figure out a way to restore everyone to their normal size once again. TV and The CW have not confirmed the following information but Decider has reported that the show has opted to create a new character to play Batwoman rather than recast Rose's role of Kate Kane, a cousin of Bruce Wayne. This information comes from a since-deleted casting notice posted to the Batwoman Reddit forum. The new character is named 'Ryan Wilder' (Name could possibly change) and is described as a woman in her mid-20s. The first season of Batwoman is the first scripted live-action TV series to feature a lesbian superhero at the top of the call sheet. The character was played by Ruby Rose until she made an announcement that she has decided to exit the series.
