The official Comic-Con trailer has been released for the hotly-anticipated supernatural-fantasy series based on Neil Gaiman's award-winning, beloved DC graphic novel series "The Sandman." "The Sandman" is premiering on August 5th, only on Netflix. Warner Bros. Pictures announced through their Shazam! Movie Twitter account with Zachary Levi that Shazam: Fury Of The Gods will be attending San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 23rd.

AMC presented a panel for Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire at San Diego Comic-Con earlier today. Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire will debut Sunday, October 2 at 10pm ET/9c immediately following The Walking Dead, with the series' first two episodes available on AMC+ that same night. Based on Anne Rice's revolutionary gothic novel, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia's (Bailey Bass) epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Chafing at the limitations of life as a black man in 1900s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist the rakish Lestat's offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion. It was Christmas in July as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment gave a gift, then tossed in a few surprises at 2022 Comic-Con International this past weekend. The initial gift -- the World Premiere of "Green Lantern: Beware My Power" -- came on Friday night as the enthusiastic Ballroom 20 audience was treated to the first public screening of the latest entry in the 15-year history of the DC Universe Movies. The screening was followed by an exciting, informative, and oftentimes funny panel discussion amongst actors Aldis Hodge (John Stewart/Green Lantern), Jimmi Simpson (Green Arrow), Jamie Gray Hyder (Hawkgirl), and Brian Bloom (Adam Strange) alongside the filmmaking quartet of executive producer Butch Lukic, director Jeff Wamester, and co-screenwriters John Semper Jr. & Ernie Altbacker. Publicist Gary Miereanu served as moderator. Among the many panel highlights was Aldis Hodge, the voice of John Stewart/Green Lantern in his first animated feature film starring role, surprising the crowd with an impromptu reciting of the Green Lantern Oath, delivered with impressive intensity and joy. During the later part of the panel discussion, WBHE reminded the crowd of the final DC Animated Movie coming this Fall -- "Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons" (10/18/22) -- and then rekindled its Comic-Con tradition of announcing its initial slate of DC Universe Movies and DC Animated Movies for the following year. At today's San Diego Comic-Con panel for "The Orville: New Horizons," Emmy award-winning actor, writer, director, producer Seth MacFarlane announced that all three seasons of the Emmy-nominated, fan favorite sci-fi series "The Orville," will be available to stream on Disney+ on August 10. The organizers of the San Diego Comic-Con have announced that a mask mandate is going to be enforced and is required for "all attendee groups, including but not limited to exhibitors, guests, staff, press, professionals, volunteers, and cosplayers… to wear an approved face covering regardless of vaccination status." The mask mandate described by the organizers means “Face coverings should completely cover the nose and mouth, fit snugly against the sides of the face, and not have any gaps.” All attendees must also verify that they are fully vaccinated — two shots — or provide proof of a negative test taken within 72 hours. Anyone attending must download a “Health Pass” that will be used to quickly verify testing and/or vaccination status. All those who so verify will be given a wristband which will allow entry to the Convention Center. The San Diego Comic-Con is vehemently enforcing these rules indicating that “people who don’t comply with the face masking requirement will be removed." “This policy is in place to ensure the health and safety of all fans,” “Security will be on-site to support adherence to the policy.”

Dwayne Johnson announced via Instagram that New Line's Black Adam is heading to San Diego Comic-Con. The panel is set for Saturday, July 23rd in Hall H. Johnson, plays the title character, with Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. After he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods-and imprisoned just as quickly-Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world. Paramount & eOne's Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will be hitting the San Diego Comic-Con on July 21st and will be holding the first panel in Hall H at noon. In addition, the medieval world will be brought to life in a Tavern experience, specifically Quincy’s Tavern, where guests can sip on non-alcoholic Dragon’s brew. Inside, visitors will also get a 20-minute, immersive experience, exclusive takeaways while interacting with their favorite Dungeons & Dragons creatures and characters, plus a few surprise moments. To celebrate the new HBO Original drama in the “Game of Thrones” franchise ahead of its August 21 premiere, HBO Max will transport guests to a Targaryen-ruled Westeros with the immersive experience, “House of the Dragon: The Dragon’s Den.” Open from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24, “House of the Dragon: The Dragon’s Den” is an interactive experience, created by agency Giant Spoon, where Comic-Con attendees will be guided through a ceremonial dragon hatching experience. Walking in a Targaryen’s footsteps, each person will step from our world into the sights and sounds of King’s Landing, interacting with people of the city, selecting their own dragon egg, and bravely demonstrating they are worthy of a bond with a dragon. From the caverns of Dragonstone to the magnificent Red Keep, guests will be ushered by a designated Dragonkeeper through seven dynamic phases, encountering special interactions, and sound sensory elements Powered by Bose, on their journey. The “House of the Dragon: The Dragon’s Den” culminates in the Throne Room, where, for the first time, fans will be able to see and sit on the new, mighty Targaryen-era Iron Throne for a photo moment, acknowledging the reign of Fire and Blood in this infamous era of Westeros. Having proven themselves true Targaryens, each person will hatch their personalized, virtual dragon egg in a new augmented reality app, House of the Dragon: DracARys, before exiting, enabling them to “raise” their dragon at home. The all-new intergalactic thriller features John Stewart’s first adventure as a member of the Green Lantern corps. In the film, the initially reluctant Stewart (voiced by Aldis Hodge) — aided by Green Arrow (Jimmi Simpson), Adam Strange (Brian Bloom) and Hawkgirl (Jamie Gray Hyder) — must contend with a horde of interplanetary killers bent on eliminating every Green Lantern in the universe, while also journeying into the heart of a raging Rann/Thanagar war to somehow succeed where all other Green Lanterns have failed.
