  1. Mattel has shown off via WWE their upcoming WWE Ultimate Edition John Cena And Becky Lynch figures which will be on display at this weekends New York Toy Fair. Look for Mattel coverage to begin here on TNI tomorrow (2/22).
  2. Shown are in-hand images for Mattel's second wave of Masters of the WWE Universe figures which includes "Macho Man" Randy Savage (Master of Macho Madness), Faker John Cena (Evil Robot of the Skull King), Rey Mysterio (Heroic High Flyer) and Roman Reigns (Heroic Big Dog). These figures which combine the world of Masters of the Universe with that of the WWE will be released as Walmart exclusive figures. Look for them on shelves soon. These figures were provided by Mattel for purpose of review.
  3. Mattel has revealed another one of their upcoming Masters of the Universe Origins figures with this video of Man-E-Faces. Like the original, you can turn the top and reveal three different faces. If rumors are to be believed, this figure will be released in wave 3.
  4. The official website for the official Masters of the Universe Power-Con convention, today released some teaser images for upcoming Masters of the Universe: Origins figures. These will be offered as exclusives during the convention later this year. From the first image we see a teaser of a MOTU Origins 5-Pack which will cost attendee's $200. It looks like it will include figures of He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, Mer-Man and perhaps Beast-Man. The first one in the second row we aren't entirely sure about. The second image is for an exclusive of one single MOTU Origns figure which looks to be She-Ra. This one is listed with a price of $40 for con attendees There will also be a third Hot Wheels based exclusive. No image or any other details were provided for that one at this time. We assume the Origins exclusives for the 5-pack will use the same bodies as the regular released versions and likely feature things like different paint decos, head sculpts and/or accessories. For instance, the one we think is Beast Man looks to have a different harness piece on from the regular released version we have seen. The things sticking up on the shoulders are likely bones as seen on some versions of the character. For the She-Ra, at this time there has been no announcement of a regular release version, but I would be very surprised if they didn't end up doing one sooner or later. Earlier in the week we showed you a rumored list of Origins products that supposedly leaked out from the German Toy Fair. In that list they had a Skeletor/Keldor 2-pack listed as a convention exclusive. While that entire list has by any means been confirmed, it should be noted that the con exclusive mentioned there was likely referring to this year's San Diego Comic Con exclusive, not these Power-Con ones. Power-Con will take place in Anaheim, CA on August 8-9. Tickets are on sale now.
  5. Back to his roots, Finn Balor returns back to the dark side. The Prince is back!
  6. While not confirmed, abaddon over on He-Man.org got wind of this breakdown report of what Mattel showed for their Masters of the Universe: Origins line during a closed event at the German Toy Fair. Again, while nothing here has been officially confirmed, it makes for an interesting read. Hopefully we will get to see these things for ourselves later this month at the New York Toy Fair which kicks off on February 22.
  7. For my latest interview, I got a chance to sit down with David Vonner, who is currently a Design Manager on Mattel's WWE line of action figures. Before that David worked at Hasbro, and was the driving force behind their 3.75" Marvel Universe line. Before coming to Hasbro, David got his start making action figures at Toy Biz working on Marvel Legends and LOTR figures. We talk about all those things and more in the interview. David was at Atomic Basement Comics in Long Beach, CA during the interview. He also wanted you to know that you should support your local comic book stores.
  8. AJ Styles turns to the dark side and joins his buddies from his time in Japan to reek havoc in the WWE.
  9. The Mattel 6" Jurassic World Amber Collection figures have gone from being a Gamestop exclusive to being offered online at various etailers. You can currently pre-order the un-re;eased Velociraptor Blue and Owen Grady figures as well as the previously released Dr. Ian Malcolm and Velociraptor ones at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com now. They also have up for pre-order a Velociraptor Charlie dinosaur which I don't remember being announced previously. At NYCC Mattel had also teased a 6" Dennis Nerdy (Wayne Knight) figure along with a Dilophosaurus, the dinosaur that killed Nerdy in the first Jurassic Park movie. These were listed as being offered online as well, though pre-orders have yet to be opened for them.
  10. That young knockout artist, Kassius Ohno makes his way to the NXT ring!
  11. Wcw's last hope, Sting comes to the rescue to take on the evil New World Order!
  12. Via WWE, comes a look at Mattel's first action figure based on Superstar Bianca Belair. The figure has her wearing the outfit she had on during the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble Match and will be part of the 107th wave of basic figures. The ponytail is a nice touch. Other figures in this wave will include Braun Strowman, The Rock, Shinsuke Nakamura and EC3.
