  3. Earlier this week, collectors noticed that Walmart's website briefly listed several unannounced Marvel Legends figures with codenames like "Marvel Legends W2 MC1", "W2 MC2", "W2 MC3"... all the way to “W2 MC6.” While most fans were left scratching their heads, one collector in particular couldn't contain his excitement: his favorite Marvel character, W2 MC4, is finally getting a figure! ToyFarce investigated... "YES! Finally, a W2 MC4 figure!! I've been waiting for this for so long!" said Kyle , a lifelong fan of W2 MC4, who claims he has every single comic appearance, trading cards, and Funko Pops of the character. "People don't realize how important W2 MC4 is in the Marvel universe. He's been in the background of so many iconic stories! Remember when he almost joined the Avengers in issue #317, but had to leave because of a scheduling conflict? Iconic." Other collectors expressed confusion. "I honestly thought those codes were placeholders", said one fan. "But hey, if Kyle says W2 MC4 is a real character, I'll take his word for it." Kyle doubled down, already planning his display shelf. "This better come with the classic accessories, like the trench coat, the cosmic hammer, and the variant head sculpt from the Secret Wars 2.5 tie-in. I swear, if Hasbro cheapens out and just gives him a generic blaster, I'll riot." As of press time, Kyle had already started a petition to ensure that "MC5 and MC6 get their due" because, according to him: "the W2 MCs are the most underrated Marvel team of all time". More news at 11:00... I'll grab W2 MC3 too, but only if he has the suit from issue #258. *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  4. "He never saw it coming! He had it in his hands!" - Chaos erupted at a local Target this weekend as a dramatic turn of events reminiscent of WWE SummerSlam unfolded in the action figure aisle. A collector, who had finally found the elusive Marvel Legends Psylocke and Thanos Gamerverse two-pack, was blindsided by another collector who cashed in their "Money In The Bank" toy briefcase and walked away with the prize! ToyFarce investigated... Witnesses say the first collector, who had been searching for the two-pack for the last few weeks, was overcome with joy and visibly emotional after spotting it behind a stack of discounted Eternals figures. "He was cradling it like a newborn" said one onlooker. "He even started crying, saying 'Finally… it's mine('." But before he could make it to the cashier, the situation took a shocking turn. Out of nowhere, a fellow collector, who had been lurking suspiciously in the wrestling figure section while wearing a neck brace and faking a limp, ripped off the brace, sprinted toward the victim, and slammed down a bright yellow "Money In The Bank" briefcase on the checkout counter. The store employee, clearly a wrestling fan, immediately recognized what was happening. "OH MY GOD! HE'S CASHING IN! HE'S CASHING IN!" they screamed, before snatching the two-pack from the first collector and handing it to the briefcase-holder. The "Money In The Bank" briefcase is part of a new, totally made-up promotion in which collectors can win the chance to swoop in and claim any collectible they see in another collector's hand, provided they cash in at the exact right moment, and shout something dramatic. The briefcase-holder, now clutching the Psylocke and Thanos set, climbed atop the counter and shouted, "This is MY moment! I've waited for this day!" before disappearing into the parking lot with the speed of a Mezco drop. The original collector was left stunned, muttering "But… but I had it. It was mine..." In an exclusive interview with ToyFarce, the victim commented: "I didn't even know we were doing briefcase cash-ins now. I was just happy to find that two-pack. I thought the fake injury was a bit much, but it worked. Fair play, I guess. I'm just gonna go cry in the NECA aisle for a bit." Toy stores around the country are now on high alert, with new signage going up: "Briefcase Cash-ins Must Be Cleared with Management beforehand". More news at 11:00... And remember: Always keep your head on a swivel when hunting toys! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
