  1. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review (...and AEW Dynamite!!) This week, we're having a look at the third wave of AEW Supreme Collection figures by Jazwares, which includes the Lucha Brothers, Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero M. The AEW Supreme Collection is their equivalent to the WWE Ultimate Edition line, with better details, better articulations and tons of accessories, including different outfits, compared to the AEW Unrivaled/Unmatched lines. The Supreme Collection from Jazwares has some of my favorite packaging, with a wide square box, the accessories on the side... Such a cool idea. I'm amazed it took that long for us to realize we can put the accessories on the side! The Supreme Collection Lucha Brothers come with the Aztec-inspired gear they wore during their entrance at All Out 2021, before their cage match with the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship belts. Their entrance gear looked awesome during the show, and looks even cooler as figures. They both come with 3 heads, 2 sets of arms (with the sleeves of the 'varsity' (?) sweatshirt, and without: arms full of tattoos), 8 hands, the AEW Tag Team Championship belts and their headgear from the entrance. The articulations on those Supreme Collection figures is on par with any import figures, with additional articulations, like butterfly joints, to the other already highly articulated AEW figures from Jazwares. They are fun to hold and pose really well. An amazing job from Jazwares! They have already teased that the Supreme Collection wave 4 should have CM Punk and Thunder Rosa, but they are not yet up for pre-order. BONUS: I also got the Ringside Collectibles Exclusive AEW Commentary pack, which includes a table, 3 headsets, 3 monitor displays, and a fabric backdrop with the AEW logo, which is a nice addition to the Ringside Collectibles announcer figures of Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur (there's also Taz, but I digress...). More news at 11:00... Tenemos CEROOOO MIEDOOOO!
  2. This weekend, AEW held their Double of Nothing pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, along with the AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest, where Jazwares announced a ton of upcoming figures for their AEW Unrivaled and AEW Unmatched lines. ToyFarce was present at the MGM Grand Convention Center to ask about the future of the line... AEW fans from all around the world rejoiced as the line up for AEW Unrivaled Series 14 and 15, and AEW Unmatched Series 9 and 10 were revealed at the event, along with a few Ringside Collectibles or Walmart exclusives. ToyFarce sat down with a representative of the brand to talk about what the future holds for AEW action figures: "Well, sadly, for All Elite Wrestling, we can't call our action figures 'Elite', due to the competition already using it..." said the representative. "So we had to be creative, and first started using 'Unrivaled' for the brand. As we needed a second line, in order to have more figures on the shelves at the stores, we looked into synonyms and found 'Unmatched'. For higher quality figures, there was another synonym, 'Supreme'. But we might not end there. There's still 'Unequalled', 'Unbeaten,' 'Unsurpassed', 'Unparalleled' (might be confusing), 'Unexcelled', 'Unbeaten'... and that's just the words starting with 'Un-'.! Then, we can get to longer ones, like 'Second to none', 'Beyond compare', 'In a class of its own', etc... The future is bright for Jazwares and AEW!" What would you name the next AEW toy line? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... AEW Nonpareil! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the second wave of AEW Supreme Collection figures by Jazwares, that includes Kenny Omega and Malakai Black (+ Ringside Collectibles Exclusive AEW Unrivaled figures of Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone!). The AEW Supreme Collection is their equivalent to the WWE Ultimate Edition line, with better details, better articulations and tons of accessories, including different outfits, compared to the AEW Unrivaled/Unmatched lines. Before we start, we are going to need announcers! Good thing that Ringside Collectibles has the exclusive AEW Unrivaled figures of Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone (with Excalibur on the way!). They both come with a microphone and a desk chair, which is perfect to pose them sitting behind a table. First off, the packaging: Wow! Having a wide box, with the accessories displayed on the sides is something I don't recall ever having seen on any other brands. A smart way to use all the space, with the figure displayed in front of one of the AEW show entrances, the accessories on the sides, and a picture on the back. Kudos to the packaging team! (PS: They could be easier to open, still...). Today is January 4th, and Kenny Omega is going to face Will Ospreay in a dream match at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, for NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling), so I thought it would be a good time to review those figures that were sitting in the pile for a while (see last article about the pile...). That Kenny Omega figure is awesome, and is definitely the SUPREME action figure of him (pun completely intended). The Best Bout Machine comes with 4 different head sculpts, 2 interchangeable pairs of legs with different ring gears (including the Demon Slayer inspired one that looks oh so good!), a black duster jacket, a total of 7 different hands, a microphone and the AEW World Heavyweight Championship belt. Malakai Black is another great figure, with several different ring gear possibilities, including soft goods ones. The leader of the House of Black comes with 5 different headsculpts with 2 masked ones, 2 sets of legs so you can pick shorts or trunks for his ring gear, 2 extra hands, a plastic sleeveless jacket, and 2 soft goods hooded jackets. The details on the tattoos are phenomenal. The masks on the masked heads look just like the ones he wears on TV during his entrances. All that would be missing would be a switch so that you can turn all the lights off at once just before he makes his presence felt. The articulations on those Supreme Collection figures is on par with import figures, with additional articulations, like butterfly joints, to the already highly articulated AEW figures from Jazwares. They are fun to hold and pose really well. An amazing job from Jazwares. The AEW Supreme Collection wave 3 was revealed to include the Lucha Brothers in their All Out 2021 gear. Those are going to be some beautiful figures! More news at 11:00... Goodbye and good night! *BANG!*
  4. It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the latest Unmatched wave of Jazwares AEW figures, series 3, with a focus on everyone's favorite bunch: The Dark Order #JoinTheDarkOrder The wave inclused the first Jazwares figure of the late Brodie Lee (RIP), along with first-ever figures of Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Anna Jay and John Silver (aka Johnny Hungie). Brodie Lee comes with the original TNT Championship belt, with the red strap, along with a stack of paper and a rolled one (from the classic "Being the Elite" sketches which always ended with him beating down the other guys with rolls of paper... such a great touch). Evil Uno comes with a microphone and extra hands. Stu Grayson, Anna Jay and John Silver all come with an extra headsculpt and extra hands. All 5 figures also come with a pack of trading cards, which is definitely a welcome bonus! Making their way to the ring, this wave has only killer figures. The likenesses are very good, finally having most members of the same faction as a single wave is awesome (even if we still need Alex Reynolds, Number 10, Alan Angels and of course, Colt Cabana... another Dark Order wave, perhaps?). Here is the Dark Order in all their glory. We can see the very eloquent Evil Uno about to cut a promo, John Silver distracting everybody, Anna Jay corpsing and of course, Brodie Lee with the rolls of paper. As hilarious as they can be, they can definitely handle their own in the ring. Looking forward to more of them, including, hopefully, a three pack with Hangman Adam Page, with their Dark Order/cowboy outfits. More news at 11:00... Join the Dark Order!

  6. We continue to see Hasbro license out their brands to other companies. This time it's G.I. Joe and Transfomrers who they have licensed out to Jazwares/ GIJoe gets Domez figures. All Domez come housed in a unique stackable & connectable display case, allowing collectors to create a unique display showcasing their favorite characters. You can check out the G.I. Joe ones which are available for at Hot Topics. The first wave which are sold as a blind-box assortment will include Snake-Eyes, Duke, Roadblock, Storm Shadow, Cobra Commander and Destro. Cobra Commander gets 2 versions. The one with yellow base looks to be some kind of chase figure.
