Entertainment One, Hasbro, Inc’s entertainment studio, announced today that it will produce the definitive documentary feature about the world’s greatest roleplaying game™. The Dungeons & Dragons® documentary will coincide with the game’s 50thanniversary in 2024. Dungeons & Dragons writer and official ambassador Joe Manganiello will co-direct with Kyle Newman and producing alongside his brother Nick Manganiello, Anthony Savini, and Cecily Tyler. Tara Long and Geno McDermott are executive producing for eOne alongside leading Dungeons & Dragons scholar Jon Peterson, Adam F. What a weekend for toy collectors, am I right? The festivities started on Friday with Day 1 of Hasbro Pulse Con and Mezco Rumble Con, then we got a surprise drop from the Four Horsemen Studios, who surprised us with a Figura Obscura release that sold out...twice! Finally, Mattel released some pics of new WWE and Masters of the Universe products throughout the weekend, and just when we thought we could take a moment to appreciate and process all those reveals, it turns out there are more big things right around the corner! The New York Comic Con, or NYCC, the second biggest Comic Con (after San Diego Comic Con) will begin on Thursday, October 6th and end on Sunday, October 9th. That is 4 days of Comic Con! Remember the overload of reveals, photos, etc... we got from San Diego Comic Con AND from last weekend? Well, this weekend is not going to be any quieter. Hopefully, it's only reveals and nothing comes out right away, so that our wallets can recover... Oh, and after that, there's the MCM London Comic Con at the end of the month, as well... and Legions Con in New Jersey the weekend after... Oh god, we're in a Con-loop! More news at 11:00... Starting Lineup in 2022. Who would have thought? The return of sports action figures has bee making the rounds over the last few days, as the Starting Lineup... starting lineup (lol) has been revealed, and the first wave will have 8 NBA players, complete with modern articulations, the right outfits and even accurate sneakers! But one fan decided that it wasn't good enough, as the new figures have way too much articulations to deserve the name "Starting Lineup"... "The real Starting Lineup figures should barely have any articulations! Or at least, they should be stuck in a pose, and have 2 points of articulations that are useless because they would break that pose, so nobody uses them. Back in my day, that is how it was." complained the collector. "Also, have you seen the new figures? They look exactly like the NBA players! The real Starting Lineup figures hardly looked like the actual players, and we were fine with it! It was like if someone had drawn a cartoon version of them from memory, blindfolded. It should still be like that!" As most are now complaining the prices of things, ghost riders and toy cars, it is refreshing to see that we can still find other things to be upset about. On Friday, the Marvel Legends team from Hasbro announced the next Haslab project, the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider and his Engine of Vengeance. You can check out the nice little intro video, complete with "nice" techno music, here. One thing led to another, and all of a sudden, every collectors knows the price of any toy car that ever came out. ToyFarce investigated. We talked with a toy collector from Oklahoma, who has now learned the prices of every toy car ever made: "I can name the price of every toy car ever made. From Hot Wheels to Majorette, from Crash Test Dummies cars to Playmobil, multiple different Batmobiles of different sizes,... I know the price of every single toy car ever made now. That way, when someone is talking about the price of the new Haslab, I can just randomly name a few toy cars that were cheaper than it. That makes my argument more powerful." He became very quiet and ended the interview when we asked if he could also name toy cars that were more expensive... It turns out there are a lot. Today, the next Haslab project will be revealed (in case you've been living under a rock). It seems to be the toy community's worst kept secret, as the Hasbro Marvel Legends team has teased about it several times already (the Haslab logo with hellfire and brimstone around it, the Ghost Rider 50th anniversary logo all over the place, several tweets about fire and chains...). So clearly, the next Haslab is gonna be Fing Fang Foom, right? Just kidding... According to the rumor mill, all signs seem to point to the next Haslab project being the latest Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes, with his trusted ride, the Hell Charger. But who is the Ghost Rider? Here's a quick summary for you, so you can act like you knew all along when ordering the next Haslab: Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance is the name of multiple superheroes (or anti-heroes) from the Marvel Comics Universe. The most known ones are Johnny Blaze, a stunt man that sold his soul to the devil Mephisto; Danny Ketch, Johnny's half-brother who became the Ghost Rider thanks to a medallion on his bike (huh?), and Robbie Reyes, a car mechanic who was murdered and resurrected as the Ghost Rider by a ghost in his car... (huh??). His powers are superhuman strength, speed, a healing factor, he can control hellfire and his chains, and has a 'Penance stare', which causes to anybody who looks into his eyes to feel the pain they have ever inflicted on others for eternity. Fun! The Ghost Rider has always been a great character, and has had a ton of great comic books,... great action figures,... and questionable movies, with Nicholas Cage as the main character. (The Robbie Reyes version appeared in the now defunct "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." tv series). In the comic book, there has been multiple different rides, such as bikes, a car, a horse, a mammoth, a taco truck... There is also a Cosmic Ghost Rider riding through space. Hasbro's entertainment studio Entertainment One (eOne) announces the highly anticipated 30th season of the global franchise "Power Rangers." "Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury" will begin filming this Fall in New Zealand and will debut in 2023. The announcement comes on Power Rangers Day (August 28), capping off Hasbro's Power Week. For the first time since the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" debuted in 1993, the current cast of "Power Rangers: Dino Fury" will be returning as the beloved Power Rangers for a third season. In "Power Rangers: Dino Fury," an army of powerful alien beings is unleashed on Earth threatening life as we know it. The team of Power Rangers, fueled by the prehistoric power of the dinosaurs, are recruited to deal with the threat. The adventure continues in "Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury," with the team heading out to space! Returning cast members include Russell Curry, Hunter Deno, Jordon Fite, Kai Moya, Chance Perez, and Tessa Rao. "Cosmic Fury" will also see the return of showrunner Simon Bennett and writers Becca Barnes and Alywn Dale. "Since the first episode of Power Rangers Dino Fury, this team of Power Rangers has broken the mold of the franchise in many ways, so it is exciting and humbling to be able to continue the story of these characters in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury," said Simon Bennett. "Power Rangers Dino Fury Season 2 ends with some big revelations, and we're so grateful to Hasbro and eOne that we get to continue to tell these stories in a brand new way." The first half of "Power Rangers: Dino Fury" Season 2 is currently available on Netflix. The second half of the season will premiere exclusively on Netflix on September 29, 2022. Additionally, Hasbro's toy line, inspired by the series, is available online and in stores now.

Mint-in-box collectors hate it because they can't see the figure, everyone else hates it because of the possible swaps that could be done at the store? (hey, what if we sold the swaps to in-box collectors?! I digress). But modern problems require modern solutions, as a group of customizers is now offering to make your windowless packaging... WINDOWFUL! "We do understand that the windowless packaging are for the environment, and we totally respect that. However, some collectors can't grasp the fact that without planet, we can't enjoy toys, so we decided to make profit on that!" said a member of the customizers group. "What we do is in that same spirit as well, since we recycle the plastic windows from other brands, like McFarlane Toys or NECA, in order to 're-window' the windowless packagings of your Marvel Legends, and soon Star Wars: The Black Series and G.I.Joe Classified Series figures." "We're offering a service that people have been hoping for since the announcements that they would switch to windowless packaging. We're putting the "plastic" back in "plastic-free packagings"!
