  1. Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s chairman and CEO announced that the new G.I. Joe movie in the works along with Paramount is now targeting a theatrical release next year after initially eyeing an October 2020 roll-out delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. This announcement was made during an analyst call that second-quarter financial results fell short for earnings and revenue as the coronavirus pandemic caused production delays, hitting its Entertainment One film and TV division, and delays in its movie releases amid cinema closures. "We're working out the specifics with Paramount," Goldner told analysts. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who produced Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins and is also producing various projects based on Hasbro's Transformers brand, will produce the relaunch of the franchise with Hasbro's arm, Allspark Pictures. 2. asbro reveals via Yahoo a second Black Series exclusive that would have been released for this years Comic-Con with the Star Wars: The Black Series Heroes of Endor Figure Set includes figures of Endor Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo and Paploo with Speeder Bike. The Star Wars: The Black Series Heroes of Endor Figure Set will be available in September exclusively on Hasbro Pulse for $109.99.
  3. We had thought maybe Hasbro had forgotten about Ghostbusters, but looks like they did have a San Diego Comic Con exclusive planned this year for their 6" Plasma Series. The set features figures of Louis Tully(Rick Moranis) and Terror Dog and recreated the scene in the movie where Tully gets chased by the dog. You also get the wired-up colander Egon Spengler used to test Louis after his possession by Vinz Clortho. The set will go up for pre-order later this year on the HasbroPulse website and will cost $50. Look for it to be released sometime in September. Check out the images via i09 below.
  4. Shown below via IGN is a look at what would have been this years SDCC exclusive Power Rangers: Lightning Collection offering from Hasbro. It's a 6" figure of Lord Drakkon Evo III. The figure is based on the Shattered Grid comic crossover from 2018 featuring the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers story lines. The figure will cost $49.99 and be available for pre-order later this year on the HasbroPulse website. It should see release sometime in September.
  5. Shown below are new promotional images for 3 of the 5 figures in Hasbro's first wave of 6" G.I. Joe Classified figures which includes Duke, Scarlett and Roadblock. The remaining two figures in the wave are rumored to be a non-exclusive version of Snake-Eyes and Destro. You can pre-order these at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.
  6. Seems like Hasbro's Power Rangers marketing team has fallen asleep at the wheel recently. Last week we told you how an unannounced 6" Lightning Collection Dino Thunder White Ranger figure was discovered on shelves at a store in Malaysia. Well another unannounced figure has now been discovered at retail. This time with a Lightning Collection Dino Charge Black Ranger figure, which has been discovered here in the US. mcucollector24 found these at his local Target store today in Modesto CA. It's unclear if this is a Target exclusive, though it is looking that way. Would be nice if we got some official details on these from Hasbro, but I guess that's what happens when the Marvel team hogs up all their live stream events. If I know MCUcollector, he will likely have a review up soon for the figure so stay-tuned.
  7. While details are still light on this, we have our first look via cultureshockcollectables at Hasbro's upcoming Power Rangers Thunder Megazord figure which is part of the new Metal Power Line. Rumors are these are more high end type collector figures with decent articulation. Think Lightning Collection, only for Megazord's instead of human characters. I don't know what scale these will be done in. The figure was on display at Hasbro CCG Expo 2020 in Shanghai. We expect an official announcement for this will be coming from Hasbro sometime this month.
  8. Hasbro has revealed via Cnet what would have been their Star Wars Vintage Collection exclusive figure for Comic-Con this year. The Vintage Collection 501st Legion Arc Troopers three-pack includes Clone Wars heroes Echo, Fives and Jesse with a bunch of accessories. It costs $50, and will be available from Hasbro Pulse in September. The folks at Yakface say this version of Fives will be released on single card in the next wave of regular released figures.
  9. Hasbro today via SR has revealed what would have been their 2020 SDCC exclusive with a re-issue of the Black Series Wampa in new Kenner like packaging. This one appears to be missing any blood or the removable arm feature for that lightsaber slicing effect. See the official description below. Celebrate 40 years of STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK with STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 6-INCH SCALE HOTH WAMPA Figure, featuring 1980s Kenner-inspired package design. Fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS Galaxy with this premium figure, featuring quality detail and deco and multiple points of articulation (4 fully articulated limbs). The STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 6-INCH-SCALE HOTH WAMPA Figure offers fans and collectors a “clean” WAMPA design by removing the “bloody mouth” deco featured on the previous version released in 2014. Available exclusively on Hasbro Pulse in the US & Canada in September 2020. Retail Price $29.99

  11. Hasbro today is holding one of their Live-Stream events for G.I. Joe. If they allow it we will embed the video but if not we will post updates and images of things as they are announced. They are not allowing the video to be embed so you can watch it here. GIJoe Retro is a re-issue of the 25th Anniversary. They will be Walmart exclusives going live at 11am ET. Storm Shadow has 14 accessories and digital scan face deco. The packaging is in keeping with the original line just like the 25th Anniversary line. The figures cost $13.99 each and vehicles $24.99. Snake-Eyes with 14 accessories. Baroness has 8 accessories. Hiss Tank (Original one) and driver. Awe Striker with Crank Case. The GIJoe Classified SDCC exclusive will be Snake Supreme Cobra Commander. Not up for pre-order yet. Be sold on Hasbro Pulse and be available around September. It will retail for $29.99.
  12. Hasbro today has given us our first official look at their new 6" G.I.Joe Classified line with a look at Scarlet and Roadblock from wave one as well as putting up for pre-order the special edition Hasbro Pulse exclusive Snake-Eyes which is available for pre-order now. Check out images for all of these below and stay-tuned for more info on this line this weekend at Toy Fair.
  13. For you Back to the Future fans, it looks like based on this teaser released by Hasbro today, they will be doing a Transformers/Back to the Future mashup of the DeLorean. Details for this will likely be made this coming Friday during their Transformers Fan-Channel event which is said to show off 6 new items. Coverage for that event will be held over on TFormers.com. Last month we saw indications Hasbro was going to be doing a Transformers/Top Gun mash-up figure and last year they did a Ghostbusters Transforming Ecto-1.
  14. Hasbro has launched a new official G.I. Joe website, and with that they released artwork for 20 G.I. Joe team members and 20 Cobra members. While there is no guarantee all 40 characters will be released in 6" Classified action figure form, its a good bet the ones that end up being released will look similar to what we see here. Out of the 40 characters featured on the site we know Duke, Scarlett, Roadblock, Snake-Eyes, Destro and Cobra Commander are getting the action figure treatment. The other characters features on the site include the following: G.I. Joe -Barbecue -Chuckles -Cover Girl -Doc -Dusty -Flint -Gung-Ho -Hawk -Helix -Jinx -Lady Jaye -Ripcord -Rock N' Roll -Sci-Fi -Stalker -Wild Bill Cobra -Alley Viper -Cobra B.A.T. -Baroness -Buzzer -Cobra Trooper -Cobra Viper -Firefly -Major Bludd -Red Ninja Viper -Ripper -Road Pig -Scrap-Iron -Storm Shadow -Tomax & Xamot -Torch -Zarana -Zartan We have mirrored the artwork for each character below in our GALLERY. We should note for some characters like Doc, Sc-Fi, Cobra Viper Cobra Soldier, Cobra B.A.T. and a few others, they seem to be using the same artwork used for the original toys. It's unclear if that means Hasbro just hasn't gotten around to re-designing those characters, isn't planning on making figures of those characters or will just retain their original looks. Because we don't know if Hasbro plans on releasing all these characters as 6" Classified figures, its hard to say why they don't have updated artwork or looks. Out of characters featured here, which ones do you most want to see made as 6" Classified figures? Let us know in the COMMENTS SECTION.
