  1. Earlier this week, among other more unfortunate news about Hasbro, the weirdest possible piece of news came out at the weirdest possible time: One picture showing 2 logos - Hasbro + McFarlane Toys. It was then revealed that it refers to a line of Page Punchers, the action figures that come with a comic book, and that there will be G.I.Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers and Dungeons and Dragons products. But of course, now that McFarlane Toys has one foot in the door... The Page Punchers line mentioned here is the 3" figures that come with comic books, but of course, McFarlane Toys also has some Page Punchers 7" figures (because it wasn't already confusing enough to have DC Multiverse, Silver/Gold/Gold Label, Collector Editions, etc... already). The possibility of 7" Hasbro Page Punchers figures is very real! One of the most popular current sub-line of McFarlane is of course, the Jokerized figures, and adding Hasbro into the mix, the possibilities are endless! Jokerized G.I.Joe figures? Yo Joe...ker! Jokerized Transformers? Who wouldn't want a purple and green Optimus Prime? Jokerized Power Rangers? It's Jokering time! Jokerized Dungeons and Dragons? Roll some 12-sided dice! Here is a quick mock-up of what we could see in the future: More news at 11:00... Is this a crossover episode?! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  2. After the huge success and popularity of the DC Multiverse Jokerized 'subline' from McFarlane Toys, we've seen recently that other brands were planning to use Jokerized version of their products. It didn't take long before DC's biggest rival, Marvel, got a wind of it, and decided to come up with their own version of it to fit their Marvel Legends line: Introducing the Marvel Legends: GOBLINIZED series! "DC Multiverse may have the Joker, but we have a crazy purple and green character in Marvel too!" said one of the spokesperson from Hasbro Marvel Legends. "The Green Goblin is also completely insane. That man really tried to ruin Spider-man's life. There's not a lot of villains who would go as far as clone the hero's dead girlfriend and have twins with her! (yes, that really happened)." "With the success of the Jokerized 'subline' from McFarlane Toys, we think that Hasbro can do that too, and maybe even better!" he continued. "We'll first have mainly Spider-man characters Goblinized, but once we've done them all, we can also do Avengers characters, since Normal Osborn also interacted with them during the Dark Reign story arc, right after becoming the hero in Secret Invasion. We can have a green and purple Captain America, a green and purple Iron Man, etc..." No words yet if any playing cards would be included with the figures (or pumpkins?). Maybe cards from a Hasbro game such as Monopoly, Clue or Guess Who? More news at 11:00... but GOBLINIZED! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. Hey, y'all, here we have a rundown of the two MVPs of the wave, at least IMO, we've got Final Swing Spidey and Gobby, two terrific figures that have a whole lotta' great things going for 'em. Could some things be improved? Sure, but, as it stands, I'm REALLY digging these guys a LOT.
  4. Will the power of friendship overpower all obstacles? On November 23, the hit entertainment series My Little Pony: Make Your Mark returns to Netflix for Chapter 6, with three new 22-minute episodes and a Secrets of Starlight special. The popular animated series serves as a fantastical look into the day-to-day quests of Sunny, Hitch, Izzy, Pipp, Zipp, and Misty and features an assortment of sentimental and hilarious stories that have made it a fan favorite series. My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Chapter 6 highlights Opaline’s wrath after learning Misty sabotaged her in an effort to save Sparky. Now with the power of even more dragon fire, Opaline plans to steal the Cutie Marks of every pony in Equestria. As the Mane 6 rush to stop her and save their friends, they’ll find that while evil may overpower them individually, there is power in their friendship! Even after this climactic finale, the Mane 6 will find their work is not yet over as a strange new world appears to them beyond anything the ponies have seen before. The Secrets of Starlight special gives fans a look into the new realm, Starlight Ridge, a land filled with glistening crystal snow and foliage, and a breathtaking starry sky. After some exploring of the new territory, the ponies meet the Auroricorns, who invite the ponies to join them for “Starshine Time” – a special series of fun wintery activities. The ponies marvel at the beautiful aurora flares that burst into the sky each time they finish an activity, but are confused when, out of the blue, all of the Auroricorns suddenly retire for the night, leaving the Mane 6 all alone. As they’re about to figure out how to get back to Equestria, they notice that the Auroricorns have all snuck back outside and are acting very strangely and that a mysterious evil snow leopard, Allura, seems to have them under her control. The Mane 6 and Sparky are now tasked with helping their new friends, the Auroricorns, get out from under the paw of an evil tyrant Snow Leopard known as Allura. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever, Turning Red) voices Zipp Storm alongside Jenna Warren (Kody Kapow!), JJ Gerber (Monster Pack), Ana Sani (The Boys), AJ Bridel (Odd Squad), and Bahia Watson (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Misty. My Little Pony: Make Your Mark is produced by Atomic Cartoons, with Cort Lane and Tristan Homer serving as Creative Producers and Gillian Berrow as Head Writer. Viewers can begin streaming My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Chapter 6 on Netflix this Thursday, November 23.

  7. "If they want plastic, let them have plastic!". In 2019, Hasbro announced their plan to stop using plastic for all new product packaging, like their... plastic action figures, and other toys made of plastic (hmmm...). The initiative was met with controversy, and by April 2023, the company would go back on their decision and reintroduce the coveted plastic bubbles that toy collectors had missed. ToyFarce received an anonymous tip about what could be the next step in the evolution of packaging: the ALL-PLASTIC packaging! "When Hasbro decided to do something eco-friendly, to improve the sustainability of their products and packaging and pollute less, people clearly didn't want to hear any of that, and were nearly rioting for the return of plastic packaging." said our anonymous source (surely... let's say... a 'disgruntled employee'!). "The main issue people had with the windowless packaging was that they weren't able to see the figure inside, and they were scared someone would swap the content of the box to something else (which is more of a crime problem than a packaging problem, but I digress). So now, they have given up and let the collectors win. But they may have the last word very soon..." "By introducing the ALL PLASTIC packaging, they're gonna do even more damage to the environment. Sure, people will be able to see the toy inside its packaging, but there will be less planet to enjoy it on, eventually. The figure will be in a plastic tray, as it were before, but that plastic tray will be held between 2 parts of a plastic 'clamshell'. That clamshell will then be inserted inside a transparent rectangular plastic box. That's about 2 extra layers of plastic. Then, we can add a sticker with the name and brand of the figure, things like that." The ALL-PLASTIC packaging should be introduced in 2024, with hopes to eliminate all cardboard and other materials from the packaging by the end of 2026. More news at 11:00... Life in plastic, it's fantastic! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
