Only one remained... The question is Y. Y: The Last Man premieres September 13. Streaming exclusively on FX on Hulu. Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.

The Hollywood Reporter via Collider is reporting that FX has begun looking for an actor replacement for the DC Comics/Vertigo 'Y: The Last Man' as Barry Keoghan has exited the series. No reason why the actor parted ways with the series. Keoghan has been with the series since July 2018 and would have played Yorick Brown, the last surviving human with a Y chromosome. The project follows escape artist Yorick after a mysterious plague as he sets out to find what might have wiped out the male chromosome. Diane Lane, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield, Marin Ireland and Amber Tamblyn round out the cast. The series was set to debut this year but now all of Keoghan's central scenes having to be reshot.

Eliza Clark has joined the creative team on the upcoming FX drama series Y as Writer, Showrunner and Executive Producer, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Gina Balian, Presidents, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. "Eliza Clark is an enormously talented writer and producer whose ambitious vision for Y will only enhance the mystique and allure of this powerful story," said Grad. "We are thrilled to have her on board and partner with this stellar cast, Brian, Nina, Brad and Melina." All of the men are dead. But one. All of the men are dead. But one. Based on DC Comics' acclaimed series Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event has decimated every male save for one lone human.
