As Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is scheduled to open Summer/Fall 2019 at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, respectively, StarWars.com announces a five-issue tie-in miniseries coming from Marvel Comics this April. Here's a look at the concept design variant cover art featuring Dok-Ondar, designed by Karl Lindberg and Iain McCaig, The series, written by Ethan Sacks (Star Wars: Age of Republic) and illustrated by Will Sliney (Solo: A Star Wars Story adaptation, Beckettone-shot) , with cover art by Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm artists. The story takes place on Batuu at Black Spire Outpost, and feature Dok-Ondar, the Ithorian collector of rare antiquities, who was briefly mentioned in Solo: A Star Wars Story. In a recent interview, Disney'sCEO Bob Iger seems to have clarified the opening date for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the Anaheim park. When asked, '“Do you still feel like you can bring more people through the parks, or is it more about growing ticket prices?”', Iger responds, '“In some, you get more repeat visitation and increased length of stay because there’s more to do. "LEGO(R) Star Wars: All-Stars," a new animated adventure series that spans all Star Wars eras, will debut beginning MONDAY, OCT. 29, on Disney XD YouTube and DisneyNOW. Comprised of eight shorts and four half-hour episodes, the series features LEGO versions of the fresh faces of the Star Wars galaxy alongside iconic heroes including Kylo Ren, R2-D2, Young Han, Chewie, Young Lando, BB-8 and General Leia. The first five shorts will roll out daily the week of MONDAY, OCT. 29, - FRIDAY, NOV. 2, culminating in a compilation special highlighting three additional shorts on SATURDAY, NOV. 10 (11:00 a.m., EST/PST) on Disney XD and DisneyNOW. Following the debut of the shorts, four half-hour episodes will premiere Saturdays beginning NOV. 17 - DEC. 8 (11:00 a.m., EST/PST) on Disney XD and DisneyNOW.
