  1. Arrow ends and Superman & Lois begins. The CW has officially ordered 'Superman & Lois' to series. The network announced that the new series, headlined by Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, has been ordered to series for the 2020-21 TV season to join the recently renewed The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman and Black Lightning. No information if the backdoor Arrow spinoff pilot episode, 'Green Arrow and the Canaries' has been ordered to series. This episode will air on Tuesday, January 21st. The Superman & Lois series will be filming its first episode this spring and follows “the world’s most famous superhero and comic books’ most famous journalist” as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society. Based on the characters from DC created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the pilot will be written and executive-produced by Todd Helbing (The Flash), Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns will also serve as EPs on the project from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. The CW Network today renewed 13 of its current scripted series for the 2020-2021 season, as well as ordering 13 additional scripts of KATY KEENE, which will make its debut on February 6, 2020, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW Network. "These early orders for next season give our production teams a head start in plotting out story arcs and a jump on hiring staff, and this also provides us with a strong foundation of established, fan-favorite CW shows to build on for next season," said Pedowitz. "We've been thrilled with the creative direction of all three new series, and even though we are in the very early stages of our new full stack streaming strategy, which allows viewers to catch up on our new shows from the beginning, we're already seeing incredibly positive results from our multiplatform viewership for NANCY DREW and BATWOMAN."   12. Director Patty Jenkins will drop the first trailer for 'Wonder Woman 1984' on Sunday, December 8th @ 12:30 PM PST. As a sneak preview, Warner Bros. has dropped a teaser for the movie through their Wonder Woman Twitter account. Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. “Wonder Woman 1984” will be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role. As previously announced, the film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. And Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor. Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.   25. The CW crossover 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' doesn't start until December 8th but we have the new preview images from the first episode starting with Supergirl. Among the preview images, there is a new teaser promo and we'll include the synopsis as soon as we receive it. The CW will present its biggest DC crossover ever with CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS airing across five different episodes of the network’s hit superhero series and spanning two quarters (December 2019 and January 2020). The CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS episodic air schedule is as follows (some series airing outside of their regular time period): SUPERGIRL – Sunday, December 8, 2019 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) BATWOMAN – Monday, December 9, 2019 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) THE FLASH – Tuesday, December 10, 2019 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) ARROW – Tuesday, January 14, 2020 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW – Tuesday, January 14, 2020 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) Additionally, characters from BLACK LIGHTNING will be featured for the first time ever in this year’s epic CRISIS OF INFINITE EARTHS crossover. Plus, the legendary voice actor Kevin Conroy (“Batman: The Animated Series”) will be making a special guest appearance as Bruce Wayne from the future. Conroy supplied the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman in such iconic series and features as “Batman: The Animated Series,” “Batman Beyond,” “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox” and “Batman: The Killing Joke,” to name a few.
