  1. Deadline is reporting that original cast members, Tom Cavanagh and Carlos Valdes will be leaving the series at the end of Season 7. The CW has already renewed The Flash for Season 8. Valdes, who plays Cisco Ramon, will end his run with an appearance in the finale.   4. The CW has released a image of Kaci Walfall as DC’s Naomi in the first look at the CW pilot from Ava Duvernay and Jill Blankenship. Naomi is based on the eponymous comic book series that debuted in 2019, co-written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker and illustrated by breakout artist Jamal Campbell, the show follows a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse.   9. The HBO Max streaming service announced that Vincent Kartheiser has signed on to play Jonathan Crane, aka the Scarecrow, in Season 3 of HBO Max’s Titans. The Crane character is an inmate at Arkham Asylum who used to terrorize Gotham City using toxins to exploit his enemies’ phobias. In addition to Kartheiser to Season 3, Savannah Welch and Jay Lycurgo also joined the cast. Welch will play Gotham police commissioner Barbara Gordon and Lycurgo will play Tim Drake, aka the third Robin. No release date for Season 3 has been announced. Warner Bros. and DC Films has confirmed that they are no longer developing the properties New Gods, which had Ava DuVernay attached to direct, and Aquaman spinoff The Trench, which Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald were penning for James Wan possibly to helm. Sources believe The Trench was shelved because Wan's schedule was to busy with Aquaman 2 and New Gods was stopped because the project far exceeded a feature stand-alone structure.   25. Ava DuVernay's superhero DC drama Naomi has rounded out its cast with Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Mary-Charles Jones, Aidan Gemme, Daniel Puig and Will Meyers. The cast join the previously announced cast of Kaci Walfall as Naomi, Alexander Wraith, Cranston Johnson and newcomer Camila Moreno. DuVernay’s Array Filmworks and Warner Bros.
