  4. TVLine is reporting that Abigail Shapiro will recur as Dorothy Spinner, the 11-year-old daughter of Niles Caulder (aka “The Chief”) in the DC Universe drama’s second season of Doom Patrol. The character was introduced at the end of the first season finale. “Niles loves her very much and has gone through great sacrifice to protect her, and the world, from her special abilities,” according to Dorothy’s official description. “Now that she is no longer hidden, Niles will go to even greater lengths to protect her.” No premiere date has been announced yet for the second season. Doom Patrol stars Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black) as Jane, April Bowlby (Drop Dead Diva) as Rita Farr, Alan Tudyk (Harley Quinn) as Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody, Matt Bomer (The Sinner) as Larry Trainor, Brendan Fraser (The Affair) as Cliff Steele, Timothy Dalton (Penny Dreadful) as Niles Caulder/The Chief, and Jovian Wade (the UK’s EastEnders) as Victor “Vic” Stone/Cyborg.

When a new blip lands the Legends in 1947 Los Angeles, it puts them on the trail of Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel (guest star Jonathan Sadowski) who seems to take pleasure in fraternizing with Hollywood Elite. Sara (Caity Lotz), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Constantine (Matt Ryan) devise a plan to capture him while Ava (Jes Macallen) and Rory (Dominic Purcell) sit on the sidelines for the time being. They soon realize that they need to worry less about Bugsy and more about his girlfriend. Ava is struggling with being on the sidelines with Rory. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) accompanies Behrad (guest star Shayan Sobhian) to his dad’s birthday, where Nate meets Behrad’s sister, Zari (Tala Ashe), who seems familiar to him. You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? “Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down. In the Warner Bros. Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also stars as Cassandra “Cass” Cain in her feature film debut.   17. Damon Gupton has announced via Twitter that his time on the Black Lightning series has come to an end. Gupton played Inspector Bill Henderson on the CW series since it debuted in January 2018. “And that’s a wrap. My final night on the set of @blacklightning,” Gupton captioned a picture of his chair on-set. “In December before X-Mas I was told Chief Henderson is not in the plans for Season 4 and that I would be let go. My heart to a helluva hard working crew. Big praise to cast, writers, producers, staff, CW, WB.” “Special shoutout to all the great fans who greet me in the street, airports, restaurants,” he added. “Your appreciation means the world to me. Know that I treasure it. Disappointed I’m not allowed to continue the ride with you but glad we had the time we did.”
  18. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today released a new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer showcasing the addition of The Joker. Unpredictable, violent and incredibly dangerous, The Joker is chaos personified. The infamous clown has terrorized the streets of Gotham City and targeted Batman’s closest allies. Now, he’s the latest Kombatant set to join the Mortal Kombat 11 roster on Jan. 28 as part of the early access period for Kombat Pack owners. Kombat Pack owners will also have access to new DC-themed character skins on Jan. 28, including “Time Lord of Apokolips” Geras and the DC Elseworlds Skin Pack featuring the menacing “Darkest Knight” Noob Saibot, reptilian “Killer Kroc” Baraka and sleek “Katwoman of Outworld” Kitana. Additionally, all Mortal Kombat 11 owners can earn new rewards via a Tower event within the Towers of Time mode celebrating the Chinese New Year, coming Jan. 23-27 as a free content update. The in-game event will feature a three-fight endurance match with celebratory modifiers including a Ceremonial Drum, Chinese Lanters and Firecrackers, Red Envelopes, Rats (representing the “Year of the Rat”) and the symbolic Chinese Dragon and Pearl. Lastly, Kombat League, the seasonal ranked mode in Mortal Kombat 11, has begun its seventh season, the Season of Death, and is available now for all players to participate in until Feb. 11. The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack is the best way to upgrade the Mortal Kombat 11 game experience with new downloadable content (DLC), featuring six characters, numerous skin and gear sets and one-week early access for all content. The new characters coming to Mortal Kombat 11 via the Kombat Pack include The Joker (Jan. 28 early access) and Spawn (March 17 early access), along with the iconic Terminator T-800 (available now), Sindel (available now), Nightwolf (available now) and Shang Tsung (available now). Players can purchase the Kombat Pack as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition for $89.99 (SRP) or individually for $39.99 (SRP). All DLC characters and bonus character skins will be available for individual purchase after the one-week early access period.

Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) goes head to head with Ms. Appleyard (guest star Emily Tennant), the school’s new cheerleading coach, and Veronica (Camila Mendes) hits a road block with her latest Luna Rum recipe. Finally, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is forced to pick a side after the perks of attending Stonewall Prep begin to interfere with his personal life. The new DC Universe drama series STARGIRL follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (series star Brec Bassinger, "Bella and the Bulldogs," "School of Rock," "The Goldbergs") as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. The series focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns' career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion. Geoff Johns ("Arrow," "Batwoman," "The Flash," "Titans") serves as showrunner and executive produces STARGIRL with Melissa Carter ("Queen Sugar"), who serves as co-showrunner, as well as Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Based on the characters from DC created by Geoff Johns, STARGIRL is produced by Berlanti Productions and Mad Ghost Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. STARGIRL stars Brec Bassinger, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Trae Romano, Cameron Gellman, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Jake Austin Walker, Christopher James Baker and Hunter Sansone.
  21. It’s the year 2040 in Star City and Mia Queen (Katherine McNamara) has everything she could have ever wanted. Laurel and Dinah are tracking a kidnapping victim with direct ties to Mia and they need her help. It seems that everyone except Sara is loving the spotlight, so much so that they invite a documentary crew on board the Waverider to film them as they investigate a strange new blip in the Timeline. The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought. Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan) thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips and informs the team that it won’t be easy to defeat.
