  1. Colonel Haley (April Parker Jones) is upset after Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) responds to a distress call from a Navy ship that turned out to be a deadly alien attack. Colonel Haley reclaims the site as DEO territory and demands that Supergirl step aside. After Supergirl refuses to be told what to do, Haley refocuses her energy on finding out Supergirl’s true identity and begins to interrogate all DEO agents, including Alex (Chyler Leigh). Meanwhile, Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) tries to persuade Nia (Nicole Maines) to embrace her superpowers but she misinterprets his motives.   2. The DC Universe series is coming to Netflix on January 11th, 2019 and Netflix will be streaming the series globally to its members outside of the US and China. Based on the characters from DC Comics, Titans is an all-new 11 episode live-action drama series that follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever. The series stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Minka Kelly and Alan Ritchson. Executive Producers are Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Greg Walker and John Fawcett. Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
  3. Spinmaster last week released a press release stating that they have entered into a 3 year agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) which includes allowing them to make DC Comic based things like remote control and robotic vehicles, water toys and games and puzzles type products. While not 100% clear, this doesn't seem like something that will effect the production of action figures from Mattel who had been the master toy license holder for DC for many years now. We've reached out to Mattel to see if we can get any clarification from them and will update you if we hear anything back.   4. A pilot order has been given by The CW for Batwoman, the DC drama project starring Ruby Rose. The character made her first appearance during the annual Arrow-verse 'Elseworlds' crossover. The project is from Greg Berlanti's Berlanti Productions, Warner Bros. Television and writer Caroline Dries with David Nutter tapped to direct the pilot in consideration for next season. When the script was finished, an early pilot pickup was considered immediately. Batwoman marks the first lead character as being gay in a live-action superhero series. In the CW's drama based on the DC characters, she’s armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope. Dries executive produces the Batwoman pilot alongside Nutter, Berlanti Prods.’ Berlanti and Sarah Schechter as well as former DC Entertainment president Geoff Johns via his new Mad Ghost Productions banner.
  5. We reported back in October from New York Comic Con that for Gotham's fifth and final season, Shane West would be playing the character of Bane. West will be be introduced as Eduardo Dorrance, a former Army friend of Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie), who is gradually transformed into the supervillain. Entertainment Weekly has released an official look at West in the Bane character after writer and producer Tze Chun posted a set photo of the character on Twitter. Gotham‘s Bane was described by showrunner John Stephens as “very, very strong, and very angry … we made him integral to the fact of coming in as a special ops government agent.” Season 5 will continue the “No Man’s Land” storyline from the comics, where Gotham City is isolated by the U.S. government from the rest of the country.. “We pick up at the top of season five, at the conclusion of No Man’s Land, Day 365,” Stephens said. “Then, we cycle backwards to day 87, three months into No Man’s Land where Jim has created his green zone and wants his reunification. We’re catching up, and for the first nine episodes, we’re always catching up to that first scene we see.” The producers have also stated that “the fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told.”

  9. DC Universe has released a first-look teaser for their next original streaming series "Doom Patrol," which is the live-action adaptation of the beloved DC superhero team of the same name.   10. DC UNIVERSE released today the final trailer for the first season finale of acclaimed original series Titans. Fans have been speculating if and when a major DC fan-favorite would make an appearance in the first season and this trailer reveals that it all comes down to the ultimate face-off: Robin vs. Batman.   11. DC Entertainment has released a set of new preview images and synopses from the first three episodes of 'Young Justice: Outsiders' third season. Featuring the appearances of new characters like Batwoman, Katana and Plastic Man, the line-up will include Static, Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl, Spoiler, Blue Beetle, Thirteen, Arrowette, Arsenal and Beast Boy. Three episodes of Young Justice: Outsiders will premiere every Friday starting on January 4th, and will continue through January 18th. For the mid-season finale on January 25th, four new episodes will debut. The show will return to DC UNIVERSE for the second half of the season with more new episodes in June 2019.   14. Lou Ferrigno Jr. and Brian Stapf have both signed on to DC Universe's upcoming Stargirl for recurring roles of Hourman and Wildcat. Hourman is known as Rex Tyler, a master chemist and adrenaline junkie who as Hourman is a thrill-seeking superhero with the ability to manifest super-strength… for one hour a day. A founding member of the Justice Society of America, Rex/Hourman struggles with balancing his life as a hero and father. Wildcat is known as Ted Grant, this founding member of the Justice Society of America introduced in 1964 was previously updated into Star City gym owner and ex-vigilante Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez) who taught Laurel (Katie Cassidy) how to fight on Arrow. Stargirl's Golden Age version of Grant's clawed and cowled Wildcat is also a former heavyweight boxer and in all likelihood, will be just as indispensable to the titular heroine. “Stargirl” centers on Courteney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), a high school sophomore who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. The series comes from executive producers Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter, based on DC comic book characters created by Geoff Johns. Johns, who launched his comic book career when he created the character of Stargirl in 1999, inspired by his late sister, is also set to write the premiere episode. Johns will also serve as showrunner. “Stargirl” is produced by Berlanti Prods. and Mad Ghost Prods. in association with Warner Bros. Television.
  15. Ian Ziering has joined the cast of Swamp Thing in a recurring guest star as DC character Blue Devil, a stuntman turned hero who fights occult evil. The Warners series described the character as “Stuntman turned movie star, Daniel Cassidy became semi-famous after playing the demonic Blue Devil. But now, eight years later, Cassidy finds himself living out his days in frustration, pining for his former fame while on a collision course with destiny.” The DC Universe series, now in production, stars Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, a young woman who investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. The DC Universe series being exec produced by James Wan along with Mark Verheiden, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear and Len Wiseman.   17. Variety is reporting that Joel McHale has been cast in a recurring role as Sylvester Pemberton, known as the "Golden Age Starman" on the upcoming DC Universe series "Stargirl." The character is known as a courageous and confident superhero, Starman is a member of the Justice Society of America. He wields a mysterious anti-gravity weapon called the cosmic staff and has a longtime sidekick named Stripesy, who is better known as Courtney Whitmore’s stepfather, Pat Dugan. “Stargirl” centers on Courteney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), a high school sophomore who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. The series comes from executive producers Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter, based on DC comic book characters created by Geoff Johns.   21. The CW has released a new "Elseworlds" extended official trailer and another set of new preview images for this year's three-night crossover event, which will air Sunday, December 9th through Tuesday, December 11th, comprised of the ninth episodes of The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl.
  22. According to Deadline, The CW has tapped Jessica Meraz for a major recurring role as Menagerie/Pamela Ferrer on Supergirl. The character is an iconic DC villain and a member of Manchesters Black’s “Elite,” Menagerie is a jewel thief who doesn’t mind hurting people.
  23. The CW has released a three part multi-poster for this year's Elseworlds crossover with The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl. Each series has it's own poster and all of them make up one combined poster.

After Constantine (Matt Ryan) breaks the cardinal Legend rule, you can’t change the past, he, along with Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Tala Ashe) try to deal with the ramifications without telling the rest of the Legends. Even though Zari encourages them to just fix the problem, Constantine and Charlie are determined to find another way, but only continue to make things worse. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Ramona Young and Jes Macallan also star. Ben Bray directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#408).   25. Hiya Toys today released a preview images for another one of their upcoming DC Comic Injustice 2 video game series of 1/18 scale (4") figures with the Joker. This will follow the release of the already revealed Harley Quinn figure.
